The Grove Pub & Restaurant

Nice quaint little spot, really didn't know what to expect going in here but was pleasantly surprised. Service was above average, atmosphere was nice, good spot to pop in and have a bite and a cold beer. The real star was the food, fish tacos are fabulous, pizza is great if you like different, fish and fries super however, the burger was rather bland surprisingly considering what was on it.might want to revisit the recipe for that one. Hats off to the chef, wikid job.

I would give The Grove a "Meh" out of 10. The food, service, atmosphere.everything was on the same level as your average Tim Hortons. If you live in the area, want a beer, an average burger and have a disposable income you want to burn on an Ok experience.sure. It wouldn't be my first (or even fifth) pick for recommendations.

We went last night for burger week, burger was amazing but also the service was outstanding! There was 8 of us and the restaurant was very busy and nothing felt rushed and our server was fantastic!

I had "The Tubby" pizza. It was very good; odd name. The waitress was overly attentive in that she asked if I was still working on my pizza and I said yes.then she took my cloth napkin away? I had to ask her for a replacement as the pizza is quite messy.

Four stars kinda fat to be honest, but three just mean. Got take out on their offering for Le Burger Week. Nice burger, not quite worth the price. Fries really good if a little too salty. I want to go back to try their fish and chips, which look proper. Looking forward to that.

Mediocre at best. Last night we ordered delivery and we were very disappointed. We had the Miles pizza, fish and chips with carrot cake for dessert…all pretty hard to screw up, you’d think? Pretty sure the pizza crust was store-bought and the fish frozen processed (think Capt. Highliner) ? For a place supposed to be semi-upscale and for the price, we expected better. The carrot cake was borderline inedible. The best part of the meal was the fries, and if that’s the highlight of a meal you’re not hitting the ball out of the park? We’re spoiled for choice for amazingly good food in this city so save your time and money and go elsewhere. We certainly will not be coming back to this one.

This time I went for pizza. Chose Danielle 2.0 (mozzarella, pizza sauce, artichoke, peppers, olives, sundried tomatoes & arugula) that tasted great. Size is a dinner plate, i.e. Individual.
Just in case you're wondering, there's no Danielle 1.0.

Expensive for the taste experience. Portions are small, almost kid size. This place use to be phenomenal - not any longer. Mediocre taste. Serving staff was slow, unattentive and disengaging.

Our experience was nothing great - mediocre food and service was poor. Atmosphere nice (but tight restaurant).

Service was poor for a few reasons.even while the restaurant was not busy during most of our visit.

The pizza was small and not that great.

The poutine was good but I didn’t find it special or great - ‘expensive’ as well. (Recently I ordered poutine at Syl’s Drive-Inn in Carman and it was great for the low price of around $5. Of course a much smaller size, but the taste was memorable and the price memorable as well.)

Atmosphere was nice, ‘twas my first time at this restaurant. Tight restaurant though (small).

Atmosphere is very cozy, not loud and the lights get dimmed later in the evening. I had the Crispy Chicken Sandwich except on Rosemary Focaccia which was delicious. Pimms cocktail was absolutely refreshing and the Gramble was good as well (Pimms was better though). Everyone else in my group seemed to enjoy their food/drinks as well. Service was top notch; fast and friendly.

I had the blue cheese dip from the apps. While the dip was great, i had around two tbsp for roughly $19. Ridiculously overpriced for the quality and quantity.

The food and service were excellent. I had the burger w half Ceasar salad half fries. Both sides were excellent and the burger was delicious. Generous servings, excellent quality, great prices. We arrived for lunch early at 1130 and this seems like a good idea as it really filled up at lunch time. Even when it was very busy the wait staff were very present and friendly.

Very nice staff. Food always great. Had the cod sandwich with the cranberry cherve salad. Amazing and very filling. Unfortunately I had no room for dessert.

We had an amazing time, and although it was the weekend, it was not packed with people for lunch. Their staff was very accommodating, but Willow stood out above the rest.

We will be back!

Went to the Grove for the first time. Fantastic Baked Feta and Olive appy! Wings are HUGE! Service was sincere and friendly. Great first experience, will definitely come back!

Was recommended the poutine…. It was amazing, some of the best gravy I’ve ever tasted, fries are excellent and nice portion or curds. Will be back as I’m already craving that gravy! Friendly staff, clean… an all around nice spot.

Great customer service! We got the poutine and it’s the best poutine I’ve had in a long time! Refreshing cocktails as well!

Forget about burger week. The Grove has one of the best burgers all year round! Try the Harvard burger. Great place to watch sports or chat with friends.

Great place for a nice meal. Had an amazing time watching the Canada vs Belgium Qatar 2022 world cup.customer service was excellent.

Great all around pub experience with extra fantastic food! Try the Habanero Mac and Cheese, it'll change your life!
