The Guinness Tavern by the Double Decker

We went there for lunch and ordered burgers, which happened to be $2 off. They were delicious and homemade and char-broiled! The buns were from a local bakery and held up well. They have daily food and drink specials. I would definitely go again and highly recommend it to others.

Little disappointing since under new management. Still a little divy, dirty walls and windows, noticed the new floors but thats about it. Not sure what theme/identity they're aiming for whether it English/Irish pub or something else but the menu doesn't reflect that or the music they have playing. I will say the food was good, portions, service was fine, inexperience on the bar side of things was evident. First time I've ever had a mojito with lemons, watered down not able to taste any alcohol, likely due to the fact it was served in a large water glass. Id say give them a shot and see for yourself.

Best quality food with reasonable price and fun environment. Especially wings night every Wednesday. I love it. Must go.

The accommodations made for me and my group, while the entire place was full on a Saturday night, were made graciously. They fit us in just so they can provide us with their fantastic service. Well done.

First time here in years. Not disappointed. Great portions on the fish and chips. Only complaint was appetizer came with the main instead of beforehand. Looking forward to trying other menu items.

Post pandemic and this place is up and running under new management. You won't be sorry! I went for lunch at the grand re-opening and enjoyed a fish and chips dinner. The prices on opening day were 40% off the whole menu! Good way to bring us in. They have Wing Nights again like the former Double Decker did. Staff is friendly and professional. I will return again.

Omg soo good butter chicken poutine! And you gotta try the maple shiraca chicken burger! " out of this world"!
