The Home Depot

Went in to do a straight exchange.same item and price.different size. I was doing this for my sister who doesn't drive.he wanted the original mastercard from the purchase. I told Mandeep I didn't have it.then he wanted me to call my sister and get the number to put in. Considering its half bankcard and half mastercard I don't know how that is supposed to work.he would not give me my sisters receipt back when I asked (there was other purchases on it that we have no way to return if they aren't right). He scribbled out the upc and told me to take it and leave. I stopped another lady in the self checkouts she was unhelpful and dissmissive.no one would help even when I asked for another associate. My sister works retail.not shopping at that home depot again.and they pride themselves on helping.lies.made me feel like I was a inconvenience or a thief.the item was less than 5$.

The owner reponded once on the link they sent. I have even left my phone number.but he hasn't bothered to check the chat since then. I guess I'm unimportant in his eyes.its fine I'm fine patronizing another store.home depot used to be my go to store.oh well

On Sunday went to Home Depot to buy 4 hanging lights for my kitchen and maybe a Chandelier for the dining room.
Went up to the lady who was sitting at a desk in the appliance department who was on her cell phone.
She told me she would call someone.
Waited 10 minutes no one showed up.
My husband bought some plumbing supplies.
The cashier asked how everything was.
I told her that I wasn’t impressed.
No one came to help and the woman was her cell phone.
She replied staff can be on there phones when they are not busy.
The store lost our business as we were going to appliances and flooring.
I will never enter your store again.
Unbelievable….

Thank you for answering but we are shopping elsewhere.
Won’t be coming back to Home Depot

The store itself is fine, but do NOT let them install anything. We got a them to install a window in 2017. It was always drafty and would wobble a bit when our dog put his paws on the windowsill. We decided to replace the white trim with wood today. Pulled the trim off only to learn why it’s so drafty and why the window doesn’t seem fully secure. They left a huge gap between the window and the wallstud (almost 3.5 inches) without adding enforcements and they did not put in adequate insulation for Manitoba winters. Absolutely disgusted with their level of “workmanship”. Do yourself a favour and do NOT trust them to provide adequate workmanship.

Sold dented non freeze wall hydrants. Check your items before purchasing they do not verify their inventory for damage. Now plumber has to return another time to install. When you try to call to see if whole box of inventory is dented no one answers!

I have shopped at the Home Depot on multiple occasions. Each day varies in quality. Customer service can be either exceptionally helpful, or dreadfully pointless. Some employees are genuinely attempting to assist you, and others are blatantly striving to avoid approaching customers. There are days the products I need are in abundance, and other days are lacking.
Overall, I will continue visiting Home Depot for most of my home-hardware needs, but I won’t rely on them for the best service either.

Two separate visits waited 55 min.the the first time then 1 hr and 25 min.for employees to get items with a fork lift. I understand waiting as items were not located at floor level, but wait times like these are frustrating!

Had to find a hose repair kit and they where out of stock in the seasonal Department. I asked an employee, "ASH" and she imidiately led me to the other location and directly to the part I needed. This is the secound time that I've encountered her and she knows where to find things and seems very knolegeable about the store and the products, plus she takes You there NOT Point and GO to iles N!

I received the best customer service from Adam from the Hardware Department. From the moment I approached Adam with my query, he exhibited a genuine willingness to help. He actively listened to my concerns. What impressed me the most was his extensive knowledge and expertise in the hardware products you offer.

After getting a run around and poor service at another store, we came here and purchased a BBQ and propane tank. We had a hard time finding the propane tanks and got the run around from 3 different staff who were working in the area until we found someone who hunted them down for us. They had to get a pallet of them down from the top rack and that took them about 20 minutes to accomplish. Otherwise, we were happy with our purchases.

Terrible customer service. Was looking for starter plants and I asked three different employees, none helped me. I had to walk away. Never am I shopping at their garden centre again. Neither will my family and friends be shopping here!

Today i went to Home Depot to get some lumber and i met a representative name Vaishnav Chander he really helped me explaining the products and the measurements was perfect

Super nice employee. So welcoming, especially around 7am in the morning. I don't think anyone is that excited or happy that early. But the employees here are. 5 star for great customer service

I went into regent home depot yesterday to buy some solar lights. I went to pay and the pinpad made the noise as if I paid but no receipt came out.the transaction was still on the screen. So I assumed the transaction didn't got through so I put my pin in again. That time a receipt came out. The next day my banking alerted me 2 transactions were purchased at the same amount.
So I went all the way back to home depot brought my receipt. I let the customer service know what happened and she said it happened to a lot of people yesterday. And she had to call IT to get it fixed because the network went down. She took a picture of my receipt and said she would call with a incident number. She did. But I still contacted my bank about the situation because I have a feeling I won't get my money back. What's the difference if you just refunded me back the solar lights? Technically I bought 2 packs. But only received one. Right?

We have always had great experiences shopping here. The staff are very helpful and friendly. They can answer any questions because they are willing to get the answers if they are not sure. We recommend this business for all your home improvement needs.

I asked for help to buy a door knob for my front door.they said they were two busy, I had no clue what to get as I was told by my son in law to buy an exterior one.guy said all the same.there were two men helping one man look for something.guy tone was off and said I am really busy, go look down this lane.all I found were closet door ones I know now why I haven't shipped with home Depot for years

Destini at customer service is amazing. She helped us when Samsung broke our dishwasher on delivery. Amazing service & conversation while we had to wait. 11/10.

You find everything you need for your projects, the only thing is that the majority of associates avoid you when you try asking for their help, so is best if you go to the app and know where your items are located and get them yourself.

Great place to find what you need for your home improvement projects. Sometime get the runaround but for the most part very helpful staff.
