Reception is excelente, except for the x-ray receptionist man… he was in a bad mood when I was there. When I came to register for x-ray he was very rude with me and my baby.

Waited long time even with an appointment. If you have a broken foot maybe you’ll have better experience but as a clinic with general health issue I thought they were poor in their patient care.

Without a doubt the most efficient clinic for just about everything in Winnipeg. The team at the clinic excel in connecting you with a doctor as quickly as possible. With the X-Ray lab located just across the hall, they are able to develop and review your scans immediately and can then provide you with the help you need. The Doctors and staff are top notch and they even have Disney plus in the waiting room! While I hope not to require their services again I can rest easy knowing if (*when) I do, the Winnipeg Minor Illness and Injury Clinic is there to help.

I would suggest going to any other clinic if you can. On Sunday I went into the clinic (keeping in mind this is an injury clinic and they have xray on site) because I was having severe back pain. My appointment was with Dr Bryce Makar at this clinic. It was very easy to book the appointment online and my wait time was less than 5 minutes. However, where my problem began is when he came into the examination room. I told him my symptoms and that it had been serious pain for about 2 days. In my initial telling I also stated that when I moved my neck it was quite painful and coughing was horrendous. Right away the doctor said it is kidney stones. Instantly I knew something was wrong as I am a very active individual, drink tons of water and have never had them in my life. I asked if an xray would be something we could explore and he instead prescribed me a CT scan for the next day along with 2 prescriptions for kidney stones. One to stop inflammation and the other to stop pain. He quickly brushed me off and we left the office. When going to get the prescription we read into the meds prescribed and I did not feel right about taking them. I did take one to help bring down the inflammation but it did not help whatsoever. On the Monday I went to Misacordia to get my CT and ended up in a vehicle collision while trying to get there. After all of that I was refused for the CT. I took it into my own hands on Tuesday and called my Chiropractor at Meadowood Family Chiropractic which I HIGHLY recommend. He got me in right away and did the xray I asked for (which should have been done at the injury initially) and right away confirmed it was not kidney stones and this was a completely wrong diagnosis and did not make sense. He then noticed that my L3 vertebrae was twisted and sitting on my disk. This is what was causing the massive amount of pain and why my back was so inflamed. If Dr Makar would have taken the time to just ask a few more questions and done the xray he had access to on site this would have been solved. Instead I am now dealing with MPI and he gave me medication that could have caused harm. Very let down with this clinic.

Partner came in for x-ray as there was some major back pain. Said it was a kidney stone, which seemed weird given my partners health. Went to Misericordia for CT scan, got in a car accident on the way there. Came back later after calling and they said that it would be no problem to walk in. Of course we get there and they wouldn’t take us (classic public health). Went to chiropractor and they said it was a rotated disk and took X-rays without any problems. If this Clinic would have spent the extra time and took an X-ray it would have saved us a car accident which will likely write off our vehicle and days of wasted time. Doctor wanted us in and out without any time spent figuring out the problem. Would not recommend this clinic.

Great clinic with very good doctors. I wish there were more clinics like this in the city. Staff is friendly and helpful, doctors are knowledgeable and professional, x-ray is on site. I always feel like we get excellent care there and I love that they had pediatricians available.

I booked an appointment & saw a DR on time. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the DR but he was a nice normal human being who answered all my questions without rushing me.

Great experience at this clinic. So nice to have a clinic like this for non-emergent illnesses or injuries. Helps alleviate the stress put on hospital emergency rooms. We need more of these clinics! Was able to call in to book an appt for the following day. Online booking is an option as well for same day or next day appts. Appt was on time, had an x-ray done in the same facility, physician assistant came to speak with me after the x-ray and then the doctor answered more of my questions. It is not a walk-in clinic which I think helps keep the appts on time and the clinic running smoothly. Very friendly front desk staff, nurses, and doctors. Highly recommend.

We were referred by the Patient Relations Department from St. Boniface Hospital for a 2nd opinion. This clinic is a great place. Dr. Katz is what a real doctor should act like. All doctors should be like him. He took the time to explain to my partner in french by using the translator on his cell phone. We finally got the explanation and the answers that we couldn't get from the Emergency at St. Boniface Hospital. Merci Beaucoup Docteur Katz for your excellent service.

They have been able to fit me in same or next day and have been running on time as well each visit I have had. The doctors I have seen explained in simple terms what was going on for me.

I had an appointment more recently (about 9 days ago) which I was able to conveniently book online. I did not wait very long after check-in.maybe about 5 mins. I was put into a room promptly, and was seen by the physician right away. He was professional, patient and listened to my concerns. I did not feel rushed at all. I have taken my kids here in the past and I can honestly say I left there feeling assured and confident in their diagnosis and recommendations. It's very a clean, and organized environment. All the staff and Doctors are friendly and professional. I would highly recommend visiting this clinic for minor medical needs.

Was able to get an appointment within half an hour of calling, wait time was very low, and the doctor that saw me was so kind! He was fast and efficient but didn't make me feel rushed, and took a moment to talk. Would highly recommend!

I was encouraged to visit this clinic by a very kind and considerate nurse on heathlinks. The wait at the clinic was reasonable, but when I finally saw the doctor, he was dismissive of my concerns. It’s a terrible time to have an illness that shares symptoms with covid. Even though I was negative, I was rushed through the appointment and sent home. I was sick for another 6 weeks before I felt well again. I will not be returning again.

We went to the clinic today, Sunday afternoon. The whole team friendly smiling and very welcoming. My daughter was send to several doctors over the last few month, has gotten creams and antibiotics and nothing was helping her situation. We saw doctor Erik Smith and he was more than outstanding. He helped my daughter with her foot right then and there. What I also found outstanding he didn’t speak (doctor language) he spoke so you are able to understand everything. I would love to keep this spot a secret because it has been just so amazing. I/ we highly recommend them. Thank you again Dr. Erik Smith she is feeling better already.

I have brought my daughter here a few times for minor illnesses and every visit has been amazing. Kind and polite front desk staff, nurses, and the doctors are very knowledgeable. We had the pleasure of meeting Dr Brennan and he is by far the kindest, most knowledgeable doctor that we've seen. Always ready to listen to your concerns as a parent. We always leave the clinic feeling assured that we're getting the proper care for our child. Thank you Dr Brennan and MIIC staff!

We book a next day Pediatric appointment and received excellent care. Our physician was kind, knowledgeable and listened well to our baby’s health issue. We were able to get a diagnosis and we’re given excellent advice.

I went there due to sever pain on my lower left back pain and I couldn’t really walk
I expected something xray or some other specific exam but there was five minutes talk with a doctor and told me to wait until I cant walk anymore and go to an emergency. I was so disappointed and scared.

Excellent experience. Made an appointment, they got me in the next day (they won't book for more than 1 day in advance). I was greeted promptly and the staff at the desk was friendly and professional. They got me in the exam room about 20 mins after my appointment time and the physician was in about 5 minutes later. Dr. Bohemier was excellent (he is also a well respected ER and Urgent Care physician). His exam was quick but he was friendly and thorough. I quickly got my X-ray and was seen again with little waiting. Thank you to all the staff here. A great although to going to a busy Urgent Care for minor things that need more than a walk-in clinic (provided you can walk or have a wheelchair and don't need to be seen in a hospital bed). The government should fund multiple clinics like this.

Took my child in and we saw Dr. Kabani, he is absolutely amazing with children and even took the time to engage with my other child who did not have an appointment. Both kids left with the biggest smiles. I wish we could have him as our regular pediatrician.

My son had acute onset of face and head pain. The clinic booked us in, in less than 24hrs.for context we couldn't see his pediatrician until October.
When we arrived at the clinic the check in process was fast an efficient! We maybe waited 10 minutes then we were called to a room and seen by Dr. Gerald who was AMAZING. He was thorough and explained everything in terms we could understand. He did not force medication or uneeded services and explained what to do if things worsened. I wish he was our pediatrician!
We will definitely be using this clinic in the future.

Although it was a fast visit, the doctor who I saw was very dismissive of my concerns and essentially said there was nothing wrong with my foot at all. I will not be coming back.

Dr. Kahani was fantastic with my son! Great bedside manner, very kind and gentle with him. Diagnosed his croup, prescribed the medication and gave me some very helpful hints to manage symptoms at home.

I booked an appointment at noon. My information was taken and covid screening took place as soon as I walked in. I barely sat down before being brought to an examination room where I was promptly asked questions by a nurse. I was sent for an X-ray just across the hall (X-ray techs were out for lunch until 12: 30, but promptly brought me in upon return. Quick and efficient X-ray process, then back to the clinic, where I was immediately directed to an examination room. I just waited a few moments before a doctor came in, asked a few questions, examined/tested my knee, gave me my X-ray results and shared my prognosis. Even with the short wait for the X-ray, I was in and out before my lunch hour was finished. Everyone in the process was friendly, helpful, professional, thorough and efficient. Very clean space. Recommended.

Went today in person not knowing visits are by appointment; asked for cancellation call, thing they did.

This clinic is great having amazong doctors and X-ray right the next door. Dr. Katz did a great job consulting me this morning, provided recommendations and prescribtion for the wrist brace which helps a lot.

Booked my appointment one day in advance, waited 10 minutes and then saw the doctor. Friendly staff/doctor and the place was nice inside and clean. Only had to wait a couple of days to hear back from the doctor from the lab results. Overall good first experience.

On a Sunday, I was able to book an appointment online for 12: 00 noon the next day. I arrived 10 minutes early and found that the clinic is extremely efficient and beautiful inside. I walked out at 12: 22 with having talked to a receptionist, nurse, got x-rays done and talked to a doctor. If I had gone to a hospital emergency room, the wait would have been 5 hours or more. At the clinic, I was and out in just over 30 minutes. I highly recommend this clinic for it’s efficiency and level of care.

Terrible place! The doctor spent literally 90 seconds with me, for a bad ear infection, looked in my ears as fast as he could and just gave me some antibiotics and I could barely get a question in as he’s walking out the door. Do not go here! It also seems like lots of the good reviews sound the same like it’s one person making multiple accounts.

Great staff, very friendly. In and out in less then 30 minutes including X-rays. This place is amazing, very well run and organized for a smooth visit.

Dr. Smith was amazing and thorough. He listened to my health concerns and referred me on to the necessary specialist. Very impressed!

I recently took my 15 year old daughter to the Minor Illness and Injury clinic because she injured her thumb. I was immediately impressed when we able to get an appointment for her the same day. The nurse that saw her was incredibly kind and seemed to ask all the right questions. My daughter was directed down the hall for an x-ray right away. She then came back and was seen by Dr. Kabani. He was amazing. Best bedside manner I have seen when dealing with a child. He was thorough and honest. From beginning to end we were there for 60 minutes. I would highly recommend the clinic for any minor injury. Beats waiting at the Children's hospital for hours on end just to sit in a room waiting for another hour and then being rushed out without any real answers.

Thank you for being so accommodating when I needed it the most! Customer/client service is something that I value immensely and I definitely received it here. Thank you!

I was so pleased with the care my daughter received from the paediatrician here. I wish we could have him as her regular doctor! Kind and thorough.

I stopped in because I needed a cast redone & didn’t have a appointment. The very pleasant receptionist said she had to check with the doctor to see if he could fit me in. He was able to redo my cast & did a excellent job. I was out of there in 1 hour. Thank it was very good service. Dennis

We had to go twice this weekend for two separate injuries and both times were amazing. So quick and all staff were so kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. Very impressed and can not say enough good things about this clinic!

Today was my first visit, but it's the best walk-in I've experienced in WPG. Friendly, courteous and quick. While I struggle getting a hold of my family doctor, these fine folks had me in & out in less than 30 mins. Very impressed.

Was able to get in morning after calling. Clean, efficient staff, very friendly doctor who took my symptoms seriously and was able to provide me with a diagnosis and treatment after checking x-ray, EKG, and vitals.

Wonderful Staff. We been going for several injuries and illness for this clinic. For my self and for my kids. Dr are amazing.

Very convenient locational. Go to Website and get An appointment. We got antibiotics when the doctor said we probably don’t need them. We didn’t fill the prescription. Basically a quick antibiotic prescription just in case.

I had a fall at home on Thursday, I called my Family Doctor on fri as the swelling and pain wa getting worse on my left leg that I had knee replacement surgery in September 2020, my Doctor called me back at 1620 just as her office was closing!
She told me to go to the Minor Injury clinic and see a Doctor, I called them and had to argue with a person in reception as she kept telling me i needed a referral from my Doctor, it seemed to go on and on, I said it doesn't say that anywhere in the Web site, well I finally received an appt, for Sat.and I was worried, but when I arrived I was greeted by a very friendly clerk then was called to see a Dr. Smith, well what a great Doctor told me things about why they had to xray only could find, After xrays he showed me the Xrays and I saw how nothing was broken and he told me what to do next and to look after myself. What a brilliant Doctor, and nice too. Everyone was so nice from the minuite I got there until I was leaving. I would go back there 100%.

Do not waste your time with this place. Was told they can't help me because I have a fever.
Then the receptionist made a very rude and insulting comment towards me. She made an assumption about me that was false. By the time I got off the phone with her I was in tears due to her comment. Some sensitivity training is desperately in order here.
I can see from other reviews that they do make assumptions about others as well.
