The Paw Resort & Wellness Centre

We have been having our large breed dog Ruby groomed by Darby at The Paw for a little over a year now. Ruby is a rescue mixed breed that was living feral for the first 5 months of her life. She HATES water and even jumps over puddles and basically tip toes through wet grass when it rains. In the past when I attempted to bath Ruby, she constantly attempted to get out of the tub and HOWL! Now, with all the time Darby has spent with her, I can honestly say Ruby doesn’t seem to mind the process that much at all. We are always so pleased with the Darby’s work. Ruby comes home prancing and very proud of what a pretty lady she is. Darby is very patient, she always reviews if there have been any issues during the previous month and how Ruby has been. She also gives us tips to implement to help Ruby enjoy her grooms and nail trims more. We are now able to trim Ruby’s nails at home without a lot of effort and Ruby does great! We love Darby and think everyone else will to!

When we picked up our 4 cats, we had the sense from our cats they were well taken care of. Thanks so much!

Our wiener dog absolutely loves this place! He always comes home smelling wondering and tired from playcare!

There's no other place we would leave our boy Angus. We have used The Paw since he was 12 weeks old where he took several training sessions as well as being kennelled and groomed on a regular basis. Angus recently spent a month with the great folk at The Paw, we had no concerns about his well being while he was there and we were able to get prompt updates on how he was doing from the terrific staff. We know that he is well fed, gets his necessary medication and lots of love from everyone he interacts with. He came home smelling and looking terrific after his grooming and we could tell by his demeanour on returning home that he's had a great stay while we holidayed. I can't recommend the services enough and there's such peace of mind knowing that with having Frank there, a qualified vet, should any medical emergencies arise, our fur baby would be attended to promptly. All the staff are hard working, dedicated and loving to their guests or all species. Angus looks forward to another stay in June. Thanks to all for what you do!

I own 2 cats and a dog, and have been a customer of The Paw for 5 years in total. During this time we have boarded our pets here, as well as bring in our high-energy dog for puppy playcare. My dog enjoys the playcare so much that he begs to go on weekends.
The staff are engaging and insightful, always up to date on the well-being of the pets.
I would give The Paw triple the available stars for the years of fantastic service. Thank you.

The Paw has always been an amazing place filled with wonderful staff. When we adopted a crazy and uncontrollable dog, Frank and Joanne went above and beyond by helping us not only save our sanity, but teaching us how to improve our dog's quality of life and by teaching us so much about dog training and animal behaviour. Whenever we have had family emergencies come up, they have been always ready to help with the care of our dogs. Our dogs are always so excited to go to the Paw and spend time with all the wonderful people there. They give the Paw!

Everyone at the Paw has been awesome to our dogs, always friendly and supportive. The dogs LOVE hanging out and playing with everyone and get very excited when we turn up the drive. We are very lucky to have the facility and caring staff for our pups!

Our dog Stella is always excited to go to the Paw for Playcare or overnight stays. Seeing her in the zoom room having so much fun with the staff and other dogs assures us that she enjoys every moment there. The staff have always been amazing at drop off and pickup and make it a stress-free experience for both us and Stella.

Such a great experience with puppy classes. Worth every penny. My puppy had so much fun interacting with the other dogs and getting to have the little play after as a group, and all the fun games and activities we got to do at the end of each class was awesome. Joanne did such a good job with everything she taught and the personalized puppy cookies at the last class were just the best! We will definitely be coming back for more classes:)

Love this place. I have used them for both daycare, boarding and grooming, they take great care of my dog!

We have been bringing our dogs to The Paw Resort for five years now, and whether it was Wila, Cedar & Jewel, they've all loved their play days and boarding.
Wila was a rescue with some fear issues, but with all the staff, Joanne & Frank, Wila thrived with all the positive experiences she received while in their care, coming home exhausted from playing with all her dog friends.
Cedar & Jewel also love The Paw, and have a great time getting to know the girls, and Joanne & Frank. The facilities are amazing and have great enrichment areas for all the pets in their care on any given day.
We recently used the Shuttle Service, and found it to be very easy and reasonably priced for picking up our two for a play day, and returning home at the scheduled time.
From the seasonal parties for the dogs, and birthday’s, the wonderful front staff, and kennel/walking staff, we know our dogs needs are being met on every level, with great, friendly, compassionate staff always going the extra mile.

We love The Paw! We took our little chihuahua there many, many times when we were on vacation visiting family. She was always very well taken care of and came back to us happy (and smelling great!)

Joanne and her staff are very caring, and hard working; that lady's always grooming yet another dog, every time I go in there! You can tell they genuinely cherish the care and responsibility that comes with the safekeeping of your family member (pet.)

I'm sure we will be back there again, to see Jo and the rest.

I would give more stars if possible. Just take your pet here already!

We recently got a standard schnauzer puppy. We’ve been taking him to puppy and fundamental classes - and it’s been fun for everyone and we learn very useful tools for training him to be a nice family pet. We also utilize playcare - which has been a lifesaver for all of us! We have piece of mind knowing he’s in a supervised playgroup burning off energy and learning how to play with other puppies. He comes home tired, never smelly and they send us adorable photos of him with his new friends! I don’t know how they do it - but the staff is amazing! Thank you for taking such good care of our little man! We would not go anywhere else!

I would recommend the Paw Resort to anyone with a pet. Ruby and Teddy, my yorkies, thoroughly enjoy the day program. It's so nice to see them excited to arrive at the resort and strain to get in. The staff are so friendly and they make sure that my pets are well taken care of. I won't take my pets anywhere else! The Paw Resort definitely goes the extra mile.

We have been taking Kelda, our Chesapeake Bay Retriever, here since she was a wee puppy and she will be 2 years old in May. We cannot imagine taking her anywhere else. Kelda always comes home tired and so very happy. The staff are so amazing, caring, knowledgable and fun. They truly always, go above and beyond just caring for our furbaby. The Paw Resort treats her like their own. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

We started at the Paw with training classes. Both classes were great for our bond, her behaviour and general skills. We both enjoyed them.
More recently we have started utilizing playcare and the pick up service. I love it knowing my pet is getting exercise and socialization while I work. They were able to work with an injury she had and even changed the dressings for me. My dog comes home happy and calm and I am updated every time on how her day went.
Little bonuses from the Paw are always a pleasure, from photos posted online to the valentines day photoshoot and treats to being able to coordinate some grooming I to a playcare day saving me time as well.

I have nothing but respect for the everyone at the Paw and Spa. They can e relied to help in an emergency without batting an eyelid. Our dogs love going to the spa, in fact last month our new rescue had her first visit there. As we were in Miami, up popped a photo of Maisie in the zoom room with a beaming smile.

One of many things that I like about the boarding is that none of the doge ever come out dirty.
