The Roost on Corydon

I've been here a few times, once in the winter and twice this summer. I love the vibes of this place! Small, dark, cozy interior with a pretty, bright, open roof top patio. Bartenders are always welcoming as soon as you enter, and service is helpful and kind. This is a place you can enjoy alone or with a few friends, and their food menu is unique and tasty. I still think about their delicious broccolini I had in the winter time! Lots of mocktail options on the menu, which is great to see. I'll definitely be back!

I can’t say enough good things about this beautiful place! Up the little flight of stairs is a wonderful oasis of cute little tables with flowers. Gorgeous ambiance
Now as for the food, WOW. I don’t like olives but my husband convinced me to try one of their warm olives. Well, I’ve been converted to loving these olives. So good! We ordered a second bowl.
We had the battered mushrooms, market veg which was a fresh cucumber salad. My husband had the jerk chicken and I had the roost burger.
Finished the fabulous meal with an amazing ice cream cake.

Great cocktails, very knowledgeable bartenders. CREATED special drink just to my likings and enjoyed the challenge. Did not eat but food that passed by looked great. All staff extra friendly and nice

Beautiful evening on the patio. Our waitress Alex was incredible, kind and bubbly. Exactly the atmosphere we were looking for.

We went through all 5 stages of grief here: denial (we couldn't believe the cocktails and food could be that good but THEY WERE), anger (we wanted so badly to have more room for another serving of ice cream cake but we were very full by that time UGH, and also Luke is not a libra as advertised), bargaining (literally would have given Grace or Luke our liver to stay for another round), depression (we fell into a deep hole of melancholy because we don't live in wpg), acceptance (the impermanence of the moment is what made it so special and beautiful)

Been here a couple time and the drinks and staff are amazing. Great selection of cocktails and the bar tenders can take some flavors you like and create a drink on the spot. Drink prices are high but really good. Location is not large if you cannot sit outside on the patio, and their food menu is small but pretty good. It does change seasonally, but it would be a bit more foodie in nature.

Update, went back this week in 2023, bartender was amazing, created a drink for me on the spot that was amazing. They focaccia bread is also very good. Definitely one of the best places for a drink.

The roost is my favourite place.best cocktails and amazing service.grace in particular deserves a shoutout.not only is she an incredibly talented server, she is also very easy to get along with and is excellent at reading her tables.i cannot recommend this place highly enough.

They are the og edible glitter peeps of winnipeg. Their drinks are strong and the vibes are stronger shades of chill, positive and lovely.

The people are bold, vivacious and amazing and their service is swift, kind and all sorts wonderful!

Very relaxing spot with great nonalcoholic drinks. I'm sure their alcoholic cocktails are great, too. Tonight, I had two buns and the Laura Palmer, which is a new fav. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Definitely worth dropping by when you are in Winnipeg.
