THERE IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE AT THIS STORE! POLICE WERE THERE 3 TIMES THIS WEEK! One of the younger male staff was sprayed in the eyes yesterday and was not at work today! WHO is responsible for the safety of their staff and customers? ! There seems to be is no obvious safety plan here for anyone!
I had called a couple times this past week and left messages with their head.office. I finally heard back, they left a voicemail this week saying that they would look into these complaints!
I was in there today. Their used Christmas trees are listed at $44.99 and $69.99! They have paintings listed at $99.99!? I am sure you can get new ones for less at other stores! THIER PRICES ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE! I have noticed that since the colder weather is upon us THEIR PRICES HAVE INCREASED BY 30-40% on all their clothes. WINTER COATS ARE RARELY LESS THAN 40$ This is a second hand store and everything is donated so their prices should be much lower! Low income families can not afford to shop here! THERE IS NO REASON FOR THIS! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE CAUSE OF THEIR PRICING! I HAVE CHECKED THEIR OTHER STORES AND THIS IS THE MOST EXPENSIVE IN THE CITY! I HAVE MENTIONED THIS OFTEN TO THE STAFF AND MANAGER AND THEY SEEM TO THINK THEY CAN COMPARE THEIR PRICING TO INTERNET STORES AND UP THEIR PRICES? THEIR MANAGER USES THE EXCUSE THAT THEY HAVE A CERTAIN PRICE LIST TO FOLLOW? ! THEY NEED TO REALIZE THEY ARE A SECOND HAND STORE WITH EVERYTHING DONATED FREE TO THEM. THEIR MISSION IS TO AID PEOPLE? ! I HAVE HEARD SEVERAL TIMES THE STASFF TELL HOMELESS PEOPLE ASKING FOR A WINTER COAT TO PICK ONE BUT NOT MORE THAN 20$? THEY HAVE NO COATS AT THAT PRICE!?

THIS SAFETY ISSUE IS IMPORTANT CAUSED BY MANY PEOPLE WALKING IN AND STEALING DAILY IN BROAD DAYLIGHT. THEY ARE VERY AGGRESSIVE TOWARDS THE STAFF! WHO WANTS TO SHOP WHERE YOU DO NOT FEEL SAFE? ! THEY SHOULD HAVE A POLICE OFFICER THERE AT ALL TIMES OR A BUZZER DOOR SYSTEM AS TO NOT LET SUSPICIOUS PEOPLE IN! I HAVE ALREADY WITNESSED STAFF BEING SLAPPED AND INSULTED, SWORE AT, IN BROAD DAYLIGHT! THIS COMPANY SHOWS NO REGARD AT ALL FOR THEIR STAFF OR CLIENTS BY NOT PROVIDING A SAFER ENVIRONMENT!

I had an issue with an item i purchased from this location (Goulet), I asked to speak with the store manager, lady named Loraine approached me and it was the most unforgettable and embarrassing interaction I have ever experienced at a retail store. She had ZERO skills to handle and assess the situation properly. I felt like I was in a third world Country, she kept speaking a different language (not english) to her colleague standing there as well that added no value, then proceeded to yell at some of other staff members from across the store.
Wish I could choose ZERO stars for this location. WILL AND HAVE never stepped foot in that store again. I will also file a formal complaint on her to head office.

Always able to find what I needed second hand at a reasonable price and put it back into good use.

A terrific thrift store. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The prices are so reasonable that I can make many spontaneous purchases and bring home an amazing selection of treasures that I then leave in their newspaper wrapping for months and months before giving them away to my grandchildren.

Prices have become astronomical here I like to thrift for fun and frugality however it is WAY OVERPRICED especially for people on low or fixed income anything with a name brand regardless of its condition is overpriced

Only been a few times but the store is very clean & well organized. Staff were very patient and helpful beyond what was required when dealing with challenging customers. Always kind and helpful with me.

Lovely thrift store. I couldn't get what I wanted but I saw some very nice things here.

If your low income and on a budget I find some of the prices costs more than what the price was brand new. I saw a full length down winter jacket I liked that had a really big orange stain on the front and looked like a slice of pizza, as big as a piece of bread and the price was $50! Not knowing if the stain would come off no one wanted to buy it. You don't wanna buy clothes if your not sure they'll fit cuz you can't try them on and you only get a credit for them if you have to return them. I like that some shoppers will tell each other if the clothes your picking are gonna look good or fit, or give suggestions if your not sue what to wear with it, it helps you decide what to get. The whole point of going to any second hand stores is to pay way cheaper that what you would pay brand new whether your low income or not. Prices won't stay cheap forever but you still want second hand stores to be affordable. I do like going to this location cuz it's next door to a no frills and I can go grocery shopping after. It's just hit or miss.you either find stuff your willing to pay the price for and find something your excited about, or ya find nothing.

Decent selection and variety. Their prices are starting to get too high on average and there are often items that are way over priced. Seems like they're looking up items on eBay and charging the same as the highest listed item, rather than looking at what the item has sold for. Still way better pricing than Value Village, and hopefully they don't move more in that direction.

Wierd man. I think I heard staff member tall blonde lady say hi Carl hanging around donation bin.heard a lady ask if he worked there he said no. I wonder why staff there let him hang around.

Great place to pick up used items at a good price, there's usual quite a few unique finds you'd have a hard time getting anywhere else

No cashier, you will find the cashier section always empty and see another store members calling the cashier, more over the cashier's English is not good enough and hard to understand

Dropped donations, rang the bell, nobody answered. Went inside to tell them, the answer was “I’m not in charge of that”. In meantime it’s snowing outside and all clothes getting wet.

Very sad that employees don’t care.
