Vibes are honestly so good, always had kind and friendly wait staff. Usually I just go for appetizers and a drink - which has always been a good decision! Can’t wait to go back

Matthew was an excellent bartender, had our drinks ready for a group of 18+ and handled everything swiftly with grace. 10/10, this is my favorite spot for live music and drinks!

We shared the fish and chips, some of the best fish we had, then had the baked pretzel so warm and soft and the dips were great!

Fun whiskey/pub night at the toad. Great service. Need to update menus. Got a bit loud later with the live band.

Not as big as the old location but the whiskey sours taste just as good! Has a cool and unique atmosphere, and there is often live music on the weekends. Always a nice stop to have a few specialty drinks along the Osbourne strip!

I really wanted to give this location a better rating, however the expectations fell a bit short.
It's a British style pub that advertises with a specialty in whiskey selection. My guest and I were able to be seated in a spacious booth.
The waitstaff were attentive to our requirements.
The beer was warm and the menu selection was limited, so we opted for the Nacho and Appetizer Platter.
For the price ($35), we expected more than a handful of somewhat stale nachos.
This particular location isn't going to give you that smell and feel of "cleanliness", but I didn't see anything that would cause any concern.

Dropped into the new place for the first time since they moved, excellent service, great food, and surprisingly the atmosphere is much the same as it used to be, very enjoyable. The fish and chips were excellent, great bar food and a good night had by all.

Amazing food, amazing staff. And some of the best breakfast food in town. One of these days I'll get to try the scotch egg Benny. One day.

Went to see a friend perform with their band there, it was much busier than usual although the atmosphere was great and the staff were outstanding and were working their hardest to make sure everyone was well off

Good Pool table, delightful whiskey's, and very competent staff who are just rough enough around the edges to remind you that you're in a true Pub and not some trite establishment like Earl's.

Great music, good food and good service. Usually a great crowd with a lively atmosphere and nice vibes. Would definitely recommend to check it out.

Drinks are top notch, food was good. I feel like they're still settling into their new home but shouldn't be long to get all the little stuff figured out.

Drinks and bartenders were good. Arrived at 9: 30pm, got a table but when we asked the waitress for food we were told the kitchen is closed. Not too sure of many places where food is not an option at that hour.

The new location needs a little work, but the atmosphere is still there. The service is super nice and the people that work there are very welcoming. A must go.

Taiza served us and was very personable and gave great servers. Drinks and food were incredible. Great spot for live music, pool, and drinks.

First time visiting the new location. I found that the staff were friendly, the decor suits the location and the beer was wet.

The new location rocks! Good work recreating the good old Toad vibe we all know and love but with a bit of a more sophisticated look and feel.

Best whiskey sour in Manitoba easily, the new food is a little more expensive but totally worth it.

Amazing Fish and chips! In fact they do great food. If Sammie is your Bartender.you're in for a real good time! And the Whiskey Selection is the best in the City hands down.

I don’t go out often but when I do, the toad has always been the place I felt most comfortable. Security are friendly and watch over everyone to ensure it’s a safe environment. Great atmosphere, food is amazing. Also Ive never really enjoyed scotch much but one of the Bartenders I think his name was Seth or Sam, convinced me to try some scotch, taught me how to taste it and ever since then I’ve been an avid scotch drinker. I highly recommend going there to try a fancy scotch or whiskey sour. They also have amazing beers on tap. They also have an amazing food menu, everything I’ve ordered has been delicious. Looking forward to returning as soon as restrictions are lifted from the pandemic.

Nice pub with a friendly atmosphere. Staff were friendly and prompt in their service. Food was excellent alongvwithe beer selection.

Best hash browns I’ve had in my entire life. The food is sorely underrated. The only cozy place left in Osborne.

Love the new Toad. Walked in yesterday just in town for their 30th anniversary. Free whiskey for the entire pub! Gotta love that.

Been a regular for 20+ years. Toad is my home away from home. Great atmosphere, great staff, and great friends! Best pub in the peg!

Pretty good selection of whiskey although it isn't quite what it used to be. The staff are knowledgeable and able to help you find something that suits your tastes. Live music was great although it made it hard to have a conversation.

Very nice place to hang out and chill. Homemade food, great drink selection. Highly recommended.

Amazing new location across fire hall on Osborne. Done in is now open. The food is amazing! Also the whiskey sours. One of the best places in Winnipeg.

Came here for a friends birthday, very much enjoyed it. We honestly ended up hanging out here for quite a few hours and the drinks were wonderful. All of our friends enjoyed chatting and playing pool.

I got some wings and nachos, excellent food here. Just make sure you order before the kitchen closes.

Great pub in the traditional style - almost English in appearance! Really great staff, and good facilities, along with reasonable prices makes the Toad in the Hole a favorite place to meet friends. The whiskey bar is a truly "can't miss" attraction - they have a massive variety of tipple, and you're sure to get treated well by the bartender! Highly recommended!

Wish I read the reviews sooner, came and promptly left after a few minutes and words with the bartender, all the stories are true, won't ever be back.

Bartenders ignored me with cash in hand for almost 20 minutes! Finally get to serving me after serving numerous people some of whom had arrived after I had, and they had the audacity to speak with condescension when I mentioned how bad service means lost business, to which I was told "go somewhere else then. "

I did. And I have spent months telling everyone else I know to do so at every given opportunity, I mean that's what I was told to do anyway right? Glad to hear your terrible service is catching up to you.

I was playing on the arcade machine at this establishment and they picked me up by the legs and threw me out of the bar. I will never return.

Visited here yesterday night with a couple friends. The short red headed waitress wearing a pokadot dress was serving us. Very unimpressed with her level of professionalism. Not only did she take 10 minutes to bring us menus but she made us pay after ordering two drinks each "because it was the end of her shift" I was okay with that however I noticed she was still helping customers & serving other tables for nearly 45 minutes after she made his pay. After paying we also asked if she could bring us some waters to which to which her rude self responded with "as I said I'm off so I'll see if the next girl on can" (we never ended up getting those waters) needless to say me & my friends will not be returning there ever again

Toad platter between 3 people is perfect value and delicious. Plenty of drink options and worth a stop in.

You've got to have the meanest bouncer's there is. They should really learn how to speak to people. He put me to tears and was so mean this past Saturday, not sure how he thinks it's okay to talk to a female let along anyone that way. I would never come back here.

The Toad is good, but the Whiskey Bar is what gets the five-star review here. Always a solid go-to nightcap spot and has hands down the best Old Fashion I have ever had!

Awesome place for whiskey sours but you will be waiting for quite a while for drinks as that is what they specialize in (the whiskey bar). Very packed on weekends

Told by re barmaid she didn't really want to make me a mix drink and to just have a beer because it was happy hour. There were 5 people there. "Don't be a pain have a beer"

It's the Toad. It's a goddam iconic landmark for Christ's sake. Like it needs my review. It's epic. It's amazing. It's.the Toad. One of Winnipeg's timeless gems.

I really like this bar, it's got a great vibe to it. I believe they've got a few pool tables if you're looking for something to do. Usually when I go, the service has been great - whenever I go in there's one bartender who always makes me something he thinks I'll like and it is always delicious!

Always a welcoming warm and friendly atmospheric place. Good food.good people.good prices. HappyHour from 2-7pm. Great Pub to meet up with your mates and have a good time. Or if your looking for a place of solitude.to work on your laptop, there are more then a few places to sit and not be bothered.if that is your thing. A hidden gem in Osborne Village. Very much an Irish Pub. The drinks are good, but the food is even better! The fries are divine and the wings are spot on. We will be back!

Wickedly fun place to meet friends for an evening of merriment! I’ve also eaten lunch here on a few occasions and have never been disappointed by the quality, the quantity and the great service.

I have been a few times. The atmosphere is fun and lively on the weekend. They often have live music downstairs. The drinks are well priced. I removed a star for their food. One-time we had poutine and a a pastrami sandwich with fries. Both were poor and way too much salt.

Another positive note - they are well known for their Whiskey Sours.
