Tindahan Food Mart

I always come here for cooked meals when I'm in Winnipeg. Very friendly staff. Not familiar where to get Filipino cooked food yet other than seafood city. The food is delicious. I have heard someone said that this place was once closed due to uncleanliness. I hope they have cleaned it properly now. It seems clean at the kitchen. Not very promising for the rest of the store though but it's all food to cook anyways. I hope this place gets checked frequently for people's safety.

Its a small establishment but loaded with filipino warmth. I go here to get my sisig fix when the craving hits hard and their chilled taho is amazing.

Good food i like the tinapa, and after 6: 30 pm there is a cooled food sale, 3 stars because while looking for a cooked food inside a glass cabinet, i saw a guy who worked there who spit his saliva in a bucket, and its3not good to see someone working there doing that.

So-So can't say any good as last year there's an issue of rats. Just my goto as its close but if had a choice would not go to buy my produce here.

This place smells so good when you walk in!

I just wish that they offered a greater selection of beverages in their coolers to go with the amazing foods that they offer.

This store is amazing. Only Ensenada with cheese on top. Great selection of fried fish and fried sweets and food

After 20 years of being a customer that shops almost every day. That ended today. Periodically they have given me Korean coins as change for quarters. Today I asked about it. Not only did the cashier not apologies. She said it was my responsibility to make sure she give Canadian currency as change. I was also told there was no manager for me to complain too. Needless to say. No more money earned from me

Good snack food at great prices. But the ladies serving that food were not exactly friendly or accommodating. I asked them if they could heat up some pork empanadas, and this request was not well received

Very well priced, many different hot foods, fresh, frozen and cooked all under one roof and even the bottled water is competitively priced.highly recommended very satisfied.

Less choice, there butcher hasn't been at work, if you but meats, no one can help you to cut them for you

Popped in here on a whim one evening. Walked out with soy sauce, fish sauce, kalamansi (tiny lemon-like fruit, described as better than lemons), some spice mixes for Philippino meat dishes, and some mangosteens (had to try after watching Somebody Feed Phil). The variety of sauces, condiments, frozen fish, and beef/pork cuts and parts was nearly overwhelming, in a good way. The clerk was extremely helpful and patient with my lack of knowledge about traditional dishes. Can't wait to come back to try the fresh hot food.

Cashier is very slow and the ladies are rude. They think bc they’re serving filipinos then it should be fine. No, customer service is very essential for running a good business and it’s something they seriously lack. Bought a couple of items last week, literally had to wait 10 mins to get it checked out bc the cashier decided to answer a call even though there was a line. Other cashier was just listening to her while making the call.

Staple in Winnipeg to get some authentic Filipino food and groceries. They have desserts too. There's also a butcher and a place to Refill your water jugs. Lately, It's been getting kind of pricey though. FYI, if your gonna order hot food, you got to ring the bell or take a number guys. The staff in the back kitchen won't come out to help regardless of how busy it might get. Just a heads up.

The best place to get all the Filipino food, delicacies, sugar and spices that we miss here in Winnipeg. Staff are very nice, very friendly, very Pinoy. Pinoy atmosphere and smell.

If you're buying pork and fish then this is a place to be. It's cheap and its fresh. Unlike other asian store, you won't see freezer burnt meat. Only 4 star because once it comes to snacks and canned good, I prefer Youngs. It's a bit pricey here. But overall, a lot of choices and kakanin too for Pinays like me.

Good place for many things, usually go her for pandesal and Okoy. Always a great place to try out food items I haven't yet and it's never a disappointment, there was a couple things I wouldn't purchase again, wish siopao asado was a everyday item though!

This store is not as big and complete like Youngs and Luckys but they have the essential food, fresh. Employees are warm and friendly.
