Tinkertown Amusement Park - Winnipeg, Mb

Overall good experience- visit was August 2023.

Pros:
-Very good value for the money
-Good selection of carnival foods
-Good selection of rides for a small park
-Very clean
-even on a busier day we didnt have to wait more than a few minutes to get on any ride
-virtually no wait times
- even our 3 year old could get on every ride (some required a parent to accompany though)
-32 inches was the average height requirment for most rides
-Shaded areas for picnics
- you can bring your own food/drink
-admission includes unlimited rides and mini golf for the day
-food prices are reasonable
-lots of parking

Cons

-people start lining up well before the park opens causing a bit of a backlog at the beginning
-park closes in inclement weather with no refunds (check the weather before you go)
-they accept credit card, debit, and cash at the main gate but after that youll require debit or cash for stuff inside the park (food, games, etc)

Overall recommend the visit.

Had a great time with my twins. Many rides were family friendly when they were too short for the ride.

This place is great for kids and adults with such affordable rate for 6 whole hours. A lot of fun filled rides for all ages.
But some of the workers there are so rude especially those selling the icecream.

The grandkids had a great time-admission cost is quite reasonable as it includes all rides. One of the main concessions only accepts cash- a bit inconvenient. Things could use an update and they close at 6- a bit early

We visited Tinkertown on a mid-August Thursday afternoon and had a great time. The park mainly consists of lots of classic fair rides suitable for all ages. I have a seven year old who is scared of the big rides and an eight year old who likes the “adult” rides and both had a blast.

I felt like we got a great value for our money. It cost $22 each for each of us to get into the park, but all rides are free. It wasn’t busy at all the day we were there, as we were able to walk up to any ride and climb on. I’m used to going to the summer exhibitions in SK, where you’re paying at least $30 to get into the park, then about another $5 in tickets per ride. You don’t get the most extreme of the rides that you get at the exhibition, but otherwise it’s much the same.

Recommend checking out Tinkertown with small children who like the rides.

A great place for kids! The rides are in good shape and the staff are friendly. You don't have to wait too long and the price is extremely cheap compared to other amusement parks. Our children (4+6) liked it very much. Only the navigation does not show the way correctly. We had to search a bit before we found the park.

A Winnipeg summer tradition in our family, Tinkertown is so fun! Lots of rides for everyone to enjoy, and other than a very few rides (train, tin Lizzie cars, bumper cars, big slide, and ferris wheel), the lines are incredibly fast and no one needs to wait long. Bring cash so that you can go through the (much faster) cash only line at the entrance.

The rides are geared towards younger kids but they do have a good selection. It's $22 per person with unlimited rides and mini golf. There is no individual price per ticket any longer.

Cool place for children up to 11-12 years old.
It's not super modern, but the plus is that you feel comfortable there, so intimate, there are a lot of trees so you're not like in a frying pan, there are a lot of benches.
I recommend it for people with children up to 12 years old, some attractions can also give birth

Was so wonderful! Didn’t wait to get in, and rides had little to no wait! Still was busy but had enough going on that it was well managed!

Great place to take the littles who aren't yet teenagers. Lots of little kids rides and some larger rides for the older children. Free game of mini golf included in admission price. No showing wrist bands or buying food onsite. You're welcome to bring your own food. Just not any cooking devices and no dogs.

This place was a favorite of ours when I was a kid and now it's a favorite again for my kids! And it's 10X better now. So many rides. Excellent staff. Treats and games. Plenty of shade too, with trees all throughout the park area. It's just a great summer day with the kids, at Tinkertown. Price is well worth it.

It was great, me and my children had so much fun.the bathrooms & picnic areas were very clean. No long line ups and staff were very friendly.

Been over 20 years since I was here last. Took my kid here, had a great time. Spent the whole afternoon there. Plenty of decent rides (great rides if you're 8) the line ups often moved fast, the ride lengths were short and sweet. Lines moved efficiently. Good times. I'm only going 4 stars because I hurt my back on the spinning apples ride. So I'm a touch salty about that. It is what it is.

Took the kids out for some fun. Definitely got our admission worth of rides, kids liked it when they could get right back in line again. The park is clean and we found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Will be going back again this summer.

Great place to have a full day with the family. Especially good for smaller children. Decent prices for food.

Clean and organized. Friendly staff. Lots of benches, eating spaces and all ages options for rides.

We went there for my son's birthday. $22 per person is ok for admission.

Pros: great for kids under 10.
Great amount of activities (mini golf), rides, etc. Plenty of tables and chairs with shade. Food was reasonably priced in general.

Cons: $4 for a soda is expensive.
Long line to get food. Height restriction was kind of too much. My other son couldn't get on some rides because he was 53" tall. Loose gravel too slippery.

Overall my kids had an enjoyable visit which makes their $22 admission price justified. As for us parents, who can only ride a limited amount of rides I don't think it's worth.

My suggestion would be to readjust height restrictions, some food prices, adult entry fee. Also would be nice if the gravel can be paved. Kids running around, it's kinda counterproductive to keep telling the kids to be kids in an amusement part catered for kids.
