Got a haircut by Rochelle, afterwards received the most compliments I’ve ever gotten from a haircut.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Tommy Gun's Original Barbershop that houses a hidden gem in the form of an exceptional hairstylist named Adam.

If you're in search of a hairstylist who goes the extra mile to ensure your satisfaction and doesn't rush to move on to another client, I highly recommend giving this hidden gem a try. Ask for Adam, and let his expertise speak for itself.

One more tip for you. When you arrive at the reception, clearly state your preference for a high-quality service. Allow yourself the luxury of dedicating 45 minutes to an hour for a haircut with this true professional, and you will see the difference.

Love Tommy Gunns, St Vital. They always do a great job on my grandsons hair. The boys are always pleased.

Jada was incredible, she really knows her stuff. My haircut was amazing better than expected. I have had some bad experiences, but decided to try again, and she brought my confidence back to Tommy guns. Got many compliments on my hair cut and I feel like Jada should be running the place.

I booked haircut appointment at St Vital Winnipeg for barber Adam as i was recommended by friend and then i waited for the Adam an hour and half long and then my turn came he refused to take me after i asked if the barber Michelle is available, then front desk said Michelle to take me but he also refused to take me it seems like they don’t want to take me. Rude and worst experience never gonna recommend anybody else.

Basically when you go, no matter what you show the barber (reference wise and instructions) they’re gonna go their own way and do what they want- I had a barber a few months ago who I had to straight up argue with over every detail. He would argue with me and say he wanted to do something else that he liked, I’d have to tell him that’s not what I wanted, and he’d try to argue and persuade me- he even tried to give me an eyebrow notch and I said no and he pleaded with me. By the end of it I did have a good enough haircut but it’s because I had to puppet him throughout the entire experience and fight with him. He literally gave me a hard edge bowl cut at first when the pictures I showed him were a layer textured middle part with an undercut… then was confused and I had to fight with him to blend and fade it.

My Stylist, I believe his name was Michel? Great young man, really took pride in his work. I couldn't have been happier with how my beard turned out. He is definitely a keeper!

Michelle is the best. He was very friendly helped me select a very handsome cut and made my mustache look really good. My girlfriends legit response was I hate that I love it so much.

Great work and conversation they took their time with my weird lumpy head and its amazing I'm super happy.

The worst haircut I’ve ever had. The barber I had is an ultimate champion in category “Most obliquely hair cut”. He got a bonus points also for not completed haircut, which was discovered when I returned home. I a day after this care I need to go to barbershop again. Total waste of money.

Good cut, they squeezed me in while I was short on time.

Gave my boyfriend the worst haircut ever, looks terrible and unfinished. They refused to fix it or refund it. Clearly the barbers here have no idea what they are doing. At the Tommy Gun’s in St.vital mall, Winnipeg, MB.

I use to come here every month always gave them the benefit of the doubt that they were busy!

Then I said I will be back for the appointment instead I waited whats 30mins? Then 4: 30 came my appointment time then I looked over the guy that came just after me was taken in by the barber okay whatever I thought. The second barber finish his client then he took the person that walked in after that I’m like okay wth I went to the counter I’m like am I still on your appointment list then we are behind I’m like yea okay then the new girls that are fresh out of school was given to her, this one being new worker won’t say much or talk for herself then I got the worst fade I’ve ever received I’m sure she’ll get better I think a babe we shop should assign clients to workers who are experts in this technique i got the worst fade I’ve ever received in my life at St Vital Tommy Guns I no longer go here I suggest taking the time to drive down to Sage Creek Tommy Guns location they are all so professional they dont pick and choose there clients. I find it very unprofessional, very rude on the barbers part.idk what it is scared to mess up my hair? Discrimination? Or just straight not liking me? Idk I’m no longer coming to this location.

I’m forced to wear a cap due to this uneven fade I hate wearing caps now!

It was alright, but I want that feeling that I am in the care of a skilled stylist and for that it came short.just act the part, be fun, be adventurous. I did like my haircut.

Long story short am not from Winnipeg here on vacation took a chance with Tommy's G. Best decision i was not ready for the experience that i got but walk out of there like ill be back to this location hoping i get the same barber. A-Grade service professional touch cant ask for more BIG UP TO MY BARBER!

Jidan did a fantastic job on my hair. Their service is absolutely amazing. I am going to be their regular customer for sure.

The best salon ever. If you need the best barber and the best haircut go to Renee at st vital Tommy guns, she's my go to barber, I've been going to her every single time and I'm always satisfied and happy with the results. She's the best in Winnipeg!

The only i didnt give 5 stars. Because ive only been there once. I was fortunate enough to have a hairdresser that had a passion for hair. And did a great job. 5 stars for her. Sorry cant remember her name. The only thing i didn't like was only same day reservation. But availability was plenty.

Got a great haircut but disappointed in not getting goatee and mustache that I asked gor. Almost like he was in a hurry for break or something.

Update: I have sent an email to customer service on 2022-08-26 and still did not get a response. Original: I came here for classic shave. Comparing to my regular shave at home with DE razor (takes about 15 minutes) : 1. Préparation was good. 2. Shaving process took much longer. The razor wasn't sharp enough. 3. Results: Cheeks - worse - a lot of missed hairs. Neck - same. Chin - better, but got several cuts. Under nose - worse and got cuts. 4. Overall impression - 2 stars. For 50 cad I hoped to get better shaving experience than I have at home every day.

Very much injured my visit today not only did jade pull off a great hair cut she was as well very outgoing and an all together great chair thanks for making me look human again

Took my young son in for his haircut yesterday and was extremely impressed with how patient and gentle his hairdresser was with him. He's terrified of buzzers and she did an amazing job making him look so handsome with just some shears! We definitely enjoy our experiences here and will keep coming back. I forgot her name unfortunately but she was a dream and worked on "Marcus" on May 23rd.

Heather is the best! I bring my son to see her and she always does what I ask and is a perfectionist!

My most memorable experience at tommy guns this past visit was the young lady that cut my hair. I apologize that I cannot remember her name but, she was definitely pleasant and made me feel comfortable the whole time I was there. She also turned my mop head into a well groomed gentleman.

Disappointed.

First was when checking in. The woman said the wait would be 20 minutes. So I go to the food court to order a quick bite. Get a call that a slot is available. I cancel my order and double on back only to hear "we already gave it to someone else. " Inconvenient, irrational and aloof. Don't call me again please.

Now, as someone whose been going to tommy guns for years, three time's a year, always looking forward to the experience, this was not it. The woman who attended me was either very new or had no idea what she was doing. The scalp massage did not happen. Was with a brush and something pointy. The rinse was abnormally cold and uncomfortable. And there was no hot towel. Which is normally included for a standard haircut. I asked for it and she said "no. " I sighed and shrugged.

During the cut I asked to turn the tv off or change the channel and was told "no. I'm watching it. " Maybe she's having a bad day. I asked to be turned around or away from the tv at least and she say's no.

Tommy Gun's St Vital, 2/10. I would not recommend this place even to my enemy. Terrible, terrible time.

Both my husband I frequent Tommy Guns. For myself it’s anything from buzz cut and scissor cuts. For my husband it’s buzz cuts, beard treatments/trim. Love the service.

I went in at the last minute before the mall closed. And the ladies was able to me to put in for a hair cut and a shave, so that I would be able to make my appointment in the morning. The service was over the top so I thought.
I would NEVER recommend this location. And later to find out it was NOT.
Even though I went to the Sage Creek location and they said to bad to sad.

After going to work out of town, I had people make comments about who gave you a hair cut the back of my head. Now I know why the lady who cut my hair did not show me the mirror to show me what it looked like, it really bad.

I contracted the store because I was out of town and talked with the owner. And her comment was come in and she will get it fix. When I ask for a refund, her comments was she could not see the hair cut she would not refund me anything. I sent her picture and still never got a return call back. Now the owner is avoiding and phone calls at the location or on her cell number that she provided me. After the OWNER contracted me she told me that there is NO REFUNDS. So now I have to pay for someone else to FIX the HAIR cut and take her to COURT to get my refund.

The young Gal was professional, meticulous and the Small Talk was entertaining. Thanks Sweetie.

Took our son here for a boys cut was able to accommodate us as a walk in. Wonderful experience, excellent cut by Katie. Super happy with it, will be returning again.

Got a buzz cut here. Service was quick. Took me in right away, wasn't too busy. Place was clean and organized. I would go back.

Service at Tommy Guns (St. Vital) is extremely professional and friendly. The shop is very clean and tidy. The appointment started right on time as scheduled. Reception staff were courteous and friendly. MiSun is a consummate professional who does a very thorough job and focuses on even the smallest details. I would highly recommend this location of Tommy Guns and MiSun.

The shop itself is good. The reason I go is because of the barber Misun. Her attention to detail and the cut I receive is second to none. I always leave feeling relaxed and taken care of and always love the way my hair looks afterwards.

Zukky did a wonderful job on my son's hair. Prior to making an appointment i walked in to ask a general question about a cut and she made me feel so at ease with the questions she asked back. I knew then i would be happy with the results. I was not wrong. Thank you!

Had a great experience with Jess, she did an excellent job and gave me a great hair cut. Super easy using the online booking and I legit had zero wait time which was great during the day. So glad I found a new hairdresser close by!

Took my 2 year old son here for a haircut. He hates getting his hair cut.a lot. They handled him really well. Highly recommend.

I was a walk-in customer for first time. A very friendly and quick sign in process and I was straight to the chair. Abby was the stylist for my cut. She was friendly, professional and definitely knew what she was doing. One of the things that stood out to me was how she worked things out to figure out what the best style for me was.

An awesome special touch was the hot towel on the face while getting the wash.

I definitely will Ben back to this location.

First time going here since covid started. Set up perfectly where I didn't feel concerned with being exposed to the virus. As for the haircut, both my son and I were in an out in no time and were more than happy with the results.

A quick and clean cut, staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Hope to have the same experience next time, would reccomend.

Average cut, felt kind of rushed and wasn't done how I usually like it. It is what it is for the price. They don't do fades too well. I guess it's in a mall and it's a quick cut place just like the others. The mall has too much competition: ultracut, unisex, aura/modernman and now Tommy guns.how many hair salons do we need in a mall? A bit of an oversight by the St. Vital mall leasing managers. Something is going to give and close up shop. I think next time I'll plan better in advance and go to a regular Barbershop that can do really good cuts/fades, like swish barbershop down the street. For a last minute cut and if you're on a rush this place will do the job. Don't expect a very good tapered skin fade tho.

First time customer yesterday, will definitely be back. Abby did a great job with my haircut and beard trim.

I went here to get my full beard removed. I wanted to get the deluxe straight razor shave package. I had a young lady named Jess that provided this service. I definitely recommend their services. I have to say the experience was excellent and with the steam heated towels, the removal of the beard with the straight razor, and the special lotions they use are amazing. I felt pampered as well enjoyed the executive experience with Jess.
