What a great option while you are at the mall patiently waiting as your family shops. I’ve probably had 6 haircuts here and I have always been happy with the results. They have a great reception/waiting room with several big screen tvs. I have been offered beverages while waiting my turn as well. That being said, I’ve never had to wait more than 15-20 minutes (which is amazing for a walk-in service provider of any kind).

Very disappointing. I went to get a shave, as I have done before, with awesome results in the past. This time, however, was terrible. I had to shave again when I got home, due to all the hairs missed. The only reason I gave two stars, was that the staff were polite.

Nice people I guess, but they say they do handle textured hair (black guys) but they straight up just cut it and have no products to dress or style it for you, again nice people but not really for someone trying to style their hair.

Loved it here my two boys did too! Place was clean the staff were nice and the hair dressers were beyond amazing with both my boys. I will def be taking my boys back for their next haircuts. Also the wait was not long at all it went fairly quickly and both my boys looked amazing.

I thought this place would be able to cater kids as well but it turned out to be traumatizing for my son. First barber just said No to my son and reasoned that his back hurts although my son was sitted on his father’s lap. The next was somewhat patient but he still wasn’t able to finish the cut since my son was just not enough for them to handle. There just wasn’t anything they can do to have it bit friendly for kids his age

I have been to Tommy Guns twice now and I really like it there's a great vibe they do a great job the staff is outstanding I unfortunately don't remember the barber I had the first time but the second time I had Sandra she is really nice and did a great job I had the razor on the back of the neck for the first time ever and it was something I will be getting ever time going forward I really like that they are a walk in so if you go you are getting a cut they have comfy chairs while you wait tv's and tablets you can use also complementary soft drinks juice and water

Not satisfied with my haircut the who gave me haircut seems unprofessional did totally different what i told him to do.

I got a haircut here, the workers are very nice. I gave the wrong instructions the first hair cut so I called back and they let me comeback and get it fixed at no cost, plus they allowed me to get a drink well I waited. I'm normally picky with my hairdressers but I think I found my new barber I'd recommend coming here.

I went in with really long hair (about 12" or more) and asked for him to cut it short. I had a really vague idea of what I wanted, but the barber, Sunny, was still able to come up with a clear vision, and did a great job on it! Now I have short hair for the first time in many years, and it feels great. Thanks so much, Sunny!

The wait time was ok. I had to wait 15 minutes after my appointment. The people at the front desk are very friendly and the barber was pretty friendly. I showed my barber a picture of what I wanted it was short sides and the top slicked back to the side. He did the sides and washed my hair. When it came to the top he just styled it. I asked for him to style it but also to touch up the top. Not only did he style it a completely different way then I asked. I got home the next day and noticed that the sides are uneven and all messed up. Very disappointed for how much they charged me, for a bad job. For the actual hair 2

Barber took his time, very precise. Overall a great experience. I would definitely recommend this place for a haircut. The price was great compared to other barber shops I’ve been to and got the same services

Kim at Polo Park is excellent. She takes her time to do the best job she can do for her clients. Nice and comfortable chairs with good selection of beverages and coffee. Chloe is an equally good barber.

Brought my two little boys in for haircuts and both stylists did amazing jobs with them. Exactly what we were looking for cut wise for each, and both were fantastic interacting with the kids. We’ll be back!

My boyfriend went their for his fade cut, the hairdresser did a pathetic job, he had to run to some other dresser to make it look better. The fade was not even clean and bold. I can see all the clear lines and was not properly meshed with the hairline. Poor service and they still charged us $40 for the bad service. I do not recommend this place at all.

Amazing service. Great waiting area with beverages and large screen TVs. Area is clean and asthetically pleasing. And the hair cut itself looked amazing! He even cleaned up around the ears with a straight razor. Will be back.

My barber gave me exactly the haircut I requested. He consulted me at various points along the way. And he was a good conversationalist and cheerful.

Very poor worst haircut my son ever had. Very uneven and front was long side were short. It was awful. The customer service was poor and they made excuses for the poor job.

I’ve received cuts from 2-3 different stylists here and always pleased. My most recent visit with May was awesome! She’s very particular (like me) and did an excellent job.

Great friendly service, treat you right and make you look really good when you walk out of there

So my boyfriend went to get his hair bleached and had a pretty bad experience. The lady was nice and the cut was fine but the first bleaching it was burning his head like crazy. He was going to say something but he thought it was basically done anyways so he didn’t. Then there was a second bleach which hurt just as bad but he thought nothing of it. When he got home his scalp started oozing and there were mild chemical burns all over his part. A lady then contacted him about his experience and told him it was his shampoo and that he should try one that they sell. It definitely wasn’t his shampoo since he hadn’t even washed his hair when we found the burns.
Really upset with the whole experience, paid $200 for it and didn’t even get any sort of money back just got told it was a shampoo issue.we will not be going back.

This was our first time visiting and my 9 and 10 year old sons were treated so nicely. The stylist did an excellent job giving them the stylish cuts they wanted.

Service was great all around, I really like the check in system that let's you book ahead of time and then receive a notification when it is close to your appointment.

I feel like this specific experience deserves a 1 out of 5 stars. The Tommy Gun's offical website promises that each visit won't be "one you forget, " but I feel like this one should be forgotten. They also pride themselves in the fact that each stylist will "nail each look, " but this look added a nail to the coffin - and not in a good way. Another point of contention is that each guest will "feel really, really good. " This haircut did not do that. Photos included from a haircut done on Saturday 04/17/2021. How can this situation be rectified? How did someone let this minor walk out of the "barbershop, " like this in good conscience? Idk Tommy Gun's. I just don't know.

I arrived fairly early and didn't have to wait for a seat. Barber was kind, asked few questions but I answered honestly, once my service started I was quite comfortable going from one service to the next, the hot towel on the face was devine! I walked out feeling confident. I will definitely be going back to Tommy Guns.

Wonderful haircut and beardtrim, but I would have felt more comfortable if the staff were wearing face shields and goggles when I had my mask off (beard trim and hair washing). I would feel awful if I found out I had spread the virus this way.

I love this place. The staff is knowledgeable and really friendly. You can't really put a price on how looking good makes you feel.

First ever time here and it was a great experience. Everyone was very polite and I only waited a few minutes before I got in which was surprising for a Saturday afternoon. Kim, my stylist, was awesome. She listened to what I wanted did an outstanding job. I am very satisfied with the haircut, trims and straight razor shave I received. Made me look and feel like a million bucks. This is great place for a guy to pamper himself, I would definitely go back. Highly recommended.

Second review - September 22,2020 again
Came in today to get the works done (haircut, beard trim and neck shave) and once again left happy. Caleb, the young fellow who looked after me, did an outstanding job. Looked and felt like a million bucks afterwards.

The gentleman did a amazing job on my son hair, but I did witness a heavy set woman with glasses who worked in the corner being rude & making my husband very uncomfortable & telling him to leave while he was watching my son get his first haircut, she was giving snoby looks gossiping to her client about my husband, I will not be coming here again.

It's an extraordinary feeling when someone goes that extra mile for you, specially when unasked, and I could see from all my previous haircut experience till date, the amount of precision, diligence and sincerity she was putting into personalizing my haircut. Shout out to Kayla for an amazing job! And, also a great team and setting in whole. Can't think of a reason not to recommend!

I usually go to Tommy Gun’s when I need a haircut because it’s nearby and usually not that long waiting times. But my recent experience was completely awful, the person who did my hair was so rude and unprofessional, I was insulted, pushed around in my chair, and the hairstylist was clearly angry. They were swearing in my ear, and complaining they don’t get paid enough, unfortunately I did not get the name of the worker, but I will not be returning to this location

My first time at this location I walked in and they still got me in very quickly, they were very clean and my hairdresser was beyond friendly
I will definitely be returning for future haircuts

But one another lady (I don't know the name) was so rude and disrespectful that she was stopping May to talk to me while having a cut. I don't know if that a company policy or no. But rather then being rude she could have told May in personal on side. That was not a good customer service.

The Filipina lady May at Tommy Guns Polo is an artist and one of the best there is at giving haircuts! Highly recommended.

I went there to inquire about the straight razors they had on display. So we asked an employee to help us out. The elderly employee immediately said the price of the product and asked me if I was willing to spend that much money. I said no, and she said “didn’t think so”. I found it very disrespectful for her to ask if I was willing to spend that money, she delivered in a way that sounded pretentious and arrogant. The fact that she didn’t even inform us about the product itself and the fact that she assumed I wouldn’t be able to afford it, which I can, upset me and I don’t know if I can ever take my business back there again. Very disappointed.

Some great barbers here. Nice atmosphere and decor. Polo location and Unicity have treated me well.

You wont necessarily get a bad hair cut, but for how much it costs, the cut doesn't seem to be worth the price your paying.

Mary cut my hair the first time and I had a wonderful experience. However when I came back with my friend (both of us are women) we were turned away and told they "didn't have the tools to cut women's hair" even though both of ours was shaved and we just wanted designs. I felt embarrassed after I told my friend how much I loved the cut Mary gave me.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A SKIN FADE! THEY WILL RUIN YOURE WEEK PLUS I PAYED 36 DOLLARS FOR THIS I WOULD RECOMMEND GOING TO MODERN MEN BARBER SHOP IN GARDEN CITY THERE FADES ARE UNBELIEVABLE PLUS YOU WONT GET SCAMMED.

Just had an awesome hair cut with a very good barber. Totally great experience and I'd recommend to anyone who doesn't know they want a haircut until last minute like I do.
