Town and Country Campground

Great spot to hang your weary head. Girl behind the counter pleasant. I am in a motorhome, and no vehicle so to buy firewood (by the way good price for the amount same with ice) so I did t get firewood as it was way to far to carry back to my motorhome.

There should be someone go around with a golf cart and check with customers if the want to buy wood/ice etc, same with all facilities are there too!

This is a large campground with lots of sites. Sites are a good size. We were here in the off season so maintenance was not a priority I guess but I imagine it is nice in the summer. Lots could use a little work but were still good. Staff is friendly.

If there was more attention paid to the poor road conditions and to maintenance of the pull thru sites, it would get a higher rating. Instead, they're putting in a pond.

I think the best way to describe this place is run down. The bathrooms are very old and feel dirty (same with showers) the one set of bathrooms the women's were closed for maintenance.
The mini golf was fun but also run down, most of the boards were rotten and no longer attached. At some point in time some holes had power to them, now just broken.
They are building a beach/swimming area which looks like it will be awesome.
The park is quite old, slide is no longer there, just a boarded up hole.
Staff were nice, quick check in.
Lots of people coming and going, we were on hollow log road (main road out) and it just seemed constant.
Overall this place has a lot of potential.

Came here to buy a drink because my mouth was like a desert while biking. The employee was very nice and the building has a nice calm vibe.

Nous avons réservé un emplacement de camping en indiquant que nous n'avons pas de RV, la réservation a été confirmée, nous avons même eu une proposition d'extension en RV.
Cependant en arrivant la bas lors de l'enregistrement l'hôtesse n'a pas manqué de nous faire savoir avec un ton très hautain que nous ne possédons pas de RV (van aménagé.) et que le camping est exclusivement réservé au RV.
Au final aucun remboursement n'est possible selon elle, et nous finissons par entrer dans le camping qui a notre surprise est vide.
En ce qui concerne le camping les emplacements sont plutôt bien indiqué, la WiFi est accessible vraiment dommages pour les douches payantes (malgré un emplacement deja cher) et assez sales et vieilles.
Bref expérience assez désagréable que je ne renouvellerai pas.

Super clean area, super friendly, helpful staff. Price is reasonable. More trees would be great but still an awesome location. Worst part is the Canadian roads leading to it!

Nice size lots, great location for people driving through just off highway. All amenities and swipe card needed to enter park once registered, staff polite and friendly and fast registration. I didn’t give a 5 because we did hear noise from highway which we expected was just more than we thought and garbage was overflowing however it was Sunday and they may get emptied during the week. Dog friendly with a marked off doggy park!

Second summer we have stayed here while visiting friends and family in Winnipeg. Nice sized sites and friendly staff. It is our go to place to stay. Clean and well maintained.

Not a great value for the money. The campground was fine, definitely quiet, which was a surprise near the highway. There definitely needs to be more clarification on what camping units are and are not allowed. At the time in May, and again in July when I checked it, was advertised being near a waterslide park that turned out hadn't been open in years (it seems to be removed now). The showers, at least the ones I used, didn't have a place to keep clothes, so everything had to be slightly soggy, or out in the open.

This is my 3rd time here and I have not had a bad time. Everything is very clean. Lot of space for our motorhome. No complaints.

Excellent place. Lots of space, green grass, fields, playgrounds, almost no highway noise (never noticed it). Brought out new dog.

We stayed for one night. This place is quiet and the wifi on the lot (112) we had was strong. Very nice welcome from the lady at the reception. I recommend.

Stayed 1 night on our our way to BC.nice park, level lots and friendly staff.
Showers are clean, have to pay for showers ($1 for 5mins) you have to come out of shower to add money if you run out.
All in all we would stay again.

This is a great campground, the sites are large and it's well laid out. There is a great dog park, fenced off and designated for dogs. The kids playground kept my kids entertained no problem as did the mini golf! The campground is conveniently located off the Perimeter which makes going places pretty convenient. Yes you can hear the cars on the highway but in all honesty you are going to hear traffic anywhere you go unless it's away outside of a city. You'd hear the same things, probably more if the campground was in the middle of town. The campground is close to the Tinkertown Amusement Park as well as the Grand Prix bumper cars and boats. There is a little store with arcade games, multiple flavours of ice cream, which they give very generous portion sizes. This is an all around great place to stay! Clean, affordable, quiet, friendly staff, convenient location and things for kids to do.

More than big enough full service sites, a decent store AND a place for our house horses to run and play and meet other camping pups. And great location to check out everything from Winnipeg to Steinbach.

The only reason for not5stars was that the wifi sucked! Completely unaccessible.

Great park had 50 amp power water and sewer plenty of room between the sites. We visited the June some of the interior roads could have been graded, and some of the sites could have been mowed. All in all a very nice place to spend time visiting the area only 10 to 15 minutes to downtown.

So I called this camp site to book a spot but let’s back pedal a little bit me and my family are moving from Fort McMurray Alberta to Ontario. We have two kids so we figured we would do a camping trip across Canada. We figured camping would be a better solution for them to get out stress there legs go play a little bit get some exercise before the next days. Long day of travels to our next destination so we rent a U-Haul truck we have an enclosed trailer that will sleep in.now understand. My enclosed trailer is not some Hyppa junk. It’s a really nice enclosed trailer. So when I was on the phone with the lady trying to reserve a spot for us to stay the night I told her that I had a U-Haul truck hauling my enclosed trailer and we’re going to be sleeping in an enclosed trailer well I’ll just say that was the end of the conversation she started going off saying about certification about Hydro and i’m just using extension cords and then it Has to have a bathroom and I was like we’re just looking for somewhere to stay the night and then before I got the finish, she hung up on me and I said she was very rude. I would not recommend even trying to book a site with this campsite is just like a doctor with bad bedside manner and if she would’ve hung up on me, I would’ve posted this review
