Transcona Bioreserve

Beautiful scenery for a short dog walk. Off-leash allowed (with well behaved dogs that have good recall). Lots of trails to discover after completing the main loop. Watch out for ticks if you're letting your doggos run through the taller grass.

It's a great place for a walk or a bike ride. I probably walk this over 100 times a year. Despite the numerous signs that dogs must be on a leash or under voice command, most people ignore this. Had a dirty dog jump all over me today and get my sweater dirty. Very annoying.

Love it here, so relaxing, perfect place to go when you want to get away from the city. Lots of nature and no city noise. Lots of ppl walking, either themselves or with their dogs. Dogs can be off leash as long as they respnd when called back and are respectful of those in the park. My kids spent lota of time here exploring the woods and having fun and adventure.

Nice small park like area. Great for walking a dog off leash. (Just wish people would pick up doggy doodoo) Several groomed routes and off trail routes. Not advisable to walk in evenings or pre-dawn.coyotes!

I love this place, worth driving. Too bad some visitors who let their dog run unleashed, don't pick up after dogs

Amazing ecosystem within the suburbs. So many different birds to hear and the sound of frogs are deafening lol. Walking paths are well maintained and dog owners are very good about picking up after their dogs.
