Spring broke Thursday evening and they had me up and running by 9: 00 the following morning! Very impressed with the quick response, knowledgeable techs, and professional service.

Called Trapp to come do the fall maintenance on our garage door. Andrea was amazing. Gave me some pointers and fixed a couple things. I called them back to upgrade the opener and Andrea came again. Great customer service and did a great job.

Immediate response time, inspection and service. Ensured garage was secure and running smooth again. I would highly recommend for all Winnipeg and nearby residents.

I’ve known Gerry for some time. Worked along some projects together! Gerry is very punctual, knowledgeable and proficient. Along with his kids learning the master of the trade, they have built one hell of a team!

Very impressed. The spring on my door was broken and I called Jerry. Within 3 hours the spring was replaced and the door was operational again. Staff were friendly and efficient and the cost was very reasonable. This was after calling one of the larger established companies that took a week to come out, didn't have the parts and said they would call in 2 or 3 weeks when they could fit me in! Had an excellent experience. Had a Facebook recommendation on a community page so I contacted Gerry this afternoon. He had another appointment near my place and was able to come to my place by 5 pm! He and his daughter were able to figure out the issue and fix it within 15 minutes! I was expecting to have to replace the door opener but instead they quickly repaired, tweaked, oiled my current unit without trying to up sale. 100% would call them again.

I called Gerry after my Torque Master tensioner failed. He was able to come out when it suited my schedule and get the job done. He converted the tensioner to an external spring and made sure my door ran smoothly and safely for my family. I will be sure to recommend Trapp Doors to anyone in Winnipeg needing garage door work.

My garage door suddenly broke on a very cold evening and after spending all night trying to patch it up, I realized it was time for a replacement.

I contacted Trapp Doors late that evening and Gerry responded first thing in the morning. He answered all of my questions right away via text and didn’t use any sales tactics. He was honest and straight-up with pricing which I really appreciated.

He came out later that same day to take a look at the damage. Afterwards he left with no pressure to go with him.

While my fiancé and I deliberated, we tried moving her car out of our garage since we couldn’t use the door anymore. As we were closing it back up, the garage door fell off its hinges and was unable to fully close.

It was evening by that point and I called Gerry to see if he could help. Gerry was just finishing up dinner with his family and said he would to be on his way.

Luckily, I was able to work the door temporarily closed again before Gerry left his house.

It meant a lot to us that he was willing to help us in an emergency to get our door back on - even during his off-hours. That’s when I knew, we had to go with him.

The next day Gerry had a cancellation and offered to put on the new door. He came over and had the new door on and completed in two and a half hours.

Gerry was fantastic to work with and I could tell that he genuinely cared and wanted to help.

Within 42 hours of our garage door dismantling, Gerry was able to replace it with a new one. We couldn’t have asked for a smoother transition.

I would 110% recommend Trapp Doors to anyone who needs their garage door replaced.

I thought that I would give Gerry and his team a nice review to help them out and then discovered that they have no shortage of positive reviews. Several were carbon copies of exactly what I was going to say! My day started with a broken garage door spring as I was heading to work. I found their website and requested a contact. They replied withing the hour, I sent some pics of the ailing door, they said they needed to retrieve the spring which they did before noon.by two thirty they were heading back to my home and by 3: 30 they were done. They invoiced me for exactly what they quoted and I paid by e-transfer. When I got home from work my garage door opened like a dream. Never heard it so smooth and quiet. Oh yeah, and we did all this by text. They were professional, polite, and friendly. When I gave Gerry a detailed description of my door that he requested, he replied "Ok, kewl. " Later, I advised him that we have a few dogs but they are annoyingly friendly and he replied "lol, we love dogs. " I never really met Gerry or his team, but they seem like good folks, and they are great at what they do. Thanks for everything, I will definitely be referring you to my friends.

The folks at Trapp Doors installed a new garage door for me today in the very cold. The team was courteous professional and highly skilled. What a team of young professionals!
