I was really excited to stay here with my family until we woke up and went for breakfast and realized they had nothing hot. I've stayed at many hotels before, mostly for the free breakfast! I've never had the only choice of eggs to be cold and hard boiled! There was no bacon, no sausage, NOTHING. I was so disappointed to spend what I did on the rooms here, and to wake up and have a cold breakfast. Won't be coming back here.

Room was a bit old feeling yet it was clean. The service and staff were good that we even called the front desk that we were hot in our room and they provided some electric fan. Breakfast was decent as well. Wished there were more protein options side from eggs, yogurt and milk. Overall the place was quiet so my family and I had a great stay.

This place is great. Front desk people are very courteous and professional.
Rooms extremely comfortable, travelodge beds are always really comfy. Slightly dated room but well kept and clean. No complaints.
The pool area is awesome. Hottub is great. Pool looks like it was recently re-lined.
Whole area is made to look like a tropical paradise. Really cool. Good prices too.

Booked a room and paid for it through Expedia. Arrive after a long day in hopes of going to bed. They won’t let me check in. I wasn’t even aware of a $200 deposit at check in, didn’t have a credit card but had a debit card and offered cash deposit. They Said no. I left tired and not happy.

Great location if you are looking for a stay with maximum value. It is an older facility with no elevator. But there are just 2 floors. Close to major attractions like Waterfront/Fork, Stadiums, Museums, Mint etc. Breakfast has limited options but it is surely convenient to have this option in the morning.

Great place to stay. Always enjoy our time at this hotel. Great friendly staff, awesome poolside area and a great selection of different types of rooms to suite your needs.

Wonderful hotel, breakfast was good. Good staff. Service was good. Front parking is tight and crowded, but more space on the side.
Pool and hot tub is open until 11 pm. If you are with family your kids will be having fun. A guest came out and screamed at all of the guest in pool and hot tub as it was disturbing his sleep.

Dirty rooms, filthy beds, moldy bathroom, and peeling wallpaper. Nothing more needs to be said.

I am very happy with the service and especially the lady manager who was at the front desk. She was so nice and excellent service

I had a great experience at Travelodge. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was nice and friendly. The hotel from the outside looked not that fancy but inside was a lot nicer and cleaner.

Doubles is open and so are the pool tables! Monday night is league night though so don't expect to get in any games then

The location was perfect for everybody that was attending the function, we did an Adios surprise party for my dad in the pool area they were so accommodating and respectful and understanding and patient I would highly recommend if you're looking for a place to do a function with adults and a variety of children especially those who love to swim this location is perfect. The staff were so awesome. ️

This hotel is amazing! Very clean, large room, bed. The pool and hot tub were clean, spacious and relaxing. The staff are prompt and professional. The continental breakfast offered many choices. I was very impressed. Will go again.

Value for money hotel. Nothing too fancy but it is clean and staff are attentive to needs. It is unfortunate that there is no lift which limits people. Not an issue for us but an 85 year old gentleman was quite concerned about having to walk the two staircases up - you would think this would be a liability issue. Not great when you have alot of luggage - which was our case. A bit noisy due to the pool being open until 11 pm but families seemed to be having fun. Bed was comfy so we had a great sleep. Generally we liked it and thought the staff made the difference.

Awful service. Rude staff and management, dirty rooms, came home with bedbugs, which was a shock. 0 stars.

Once again, an absolute positive experience at this hotel. We were there a couple of days for a medical appmt for my husband. Housekeeping manager is the sweetest. Needed a few extra towels, no rush and didn’t require housekeeping, prompt, very helpful and super nice. Front desk is a pleasure and we really enjoyed the complementary coffee and tea throughout the day available in the lobby for guests. Breakfast is complimentary, all the basics and so much better than just a muffin. Try the coffee, it’s out of this world puts Tim’s to shame. The breakfast attendant is so good at her position she puts a lot of care into her work, not a thing went empty at breakfast. Clean hotel. Tks for everything, We will be back!

The rooms smelled terrible, carpets in halls were dirty and torn. Room had chairs that were stained. Police arresting someone in hotel when we were checking in. Asked for another room and we were given another room with a newer carpet (smelled better) but the chairs still were stained. The fridge freezer had not been thawed for months. Worst hotel in our trip out west. Arrived September 7th and departed September 8th. Continental breakfast had a nice sealed muffin and the lady managing the breakfast room was pleasant. I have pictures of the chairs and freezer but can’t seem to post them…. Everything seemed dated. Dated I could live with but dirty I can not!

This hotel is extremely out dated and the smell in there is horrible. The hallways smell like a moldy musty old basement very gross! By far my worst hotel experience I booked for 2 nights and only ended up staying for 1 because the smell throughout the hotel was unbearable! Also when I went to the front desk to see if I could change my room due to the noise from the pool area ‘Debra’ stated that I couldn’t hear anything from the pool meanwhile I heard yelling from the pool area all the way until 11pm. Very unprofessional and not clean! Would never ever stay here again even if I was paid to!

It's okay. Clearly not for a vacation, just to stop if you have to stop. The hotel is very far from the down town - about an hour on foot. At first I got a room that looked more like a prison cell - a barred (!) window overlooking.a hotel corridor. I asked for another room and finally got a window overlooking a street. The rooms are clean. However, there's a weird smell in the rooms (and there are bars on the windows, you can't open them all the way, only a small gap).

Staff were rude and can't even greet you. And annoyed that you came into the hotel to get a room.

Don't stay here.extremely noisy at past 10 pm.no power in the room.unprofessional staff.called the receptionist many times.the guy always say they are working on it.still can't sleep.came over to have a good sleep after driving 1400km from Sault st.marie and to start driving 1400 km to Edmonton in the morning. I guess I chose the wrong place.everyone please do yourselves a favor. NEVER STAY AT WINNIPEG EAST TRAVELODGE BY WYNDHAM!

Overall satisfied with the stay when I just need a bed to stay and employees are professional. It was a bummer there’s no AC and no conditioner included.

I talk with guy first he said room is available in 90$ i said ok I am coming I reach there he said 130 $ before he said 110$ with taxes.
I said ok no problem I will take it next day morning during check out they said 165$

Place was clean, well kept minus the bathroom - it didn't have an exhaust so it smelled like wet towels that have been kept in a cupboard and never dried out.

This Hotel is clean and the staff are efficient and friendly. Great complimentary continental breakfast too. Didn't check out the pool so no opinion there.
I think this location needs to be a 3 star hotel, not a 2 star.

Got in late in the evening to the police arresting a gentleman.
Hotels extremely dated.
First room we went to was filled with the smell of tar from them doing the Roofing.
Wife was having a hard time breathing so they gave us another room and we got promptly woken up at 8: 00 in the morning so that they could do the roofing.
Continental breakfast was on the low end, frozen waffles, one kind of milk two toasters for everybody that was suddenly getting up at 8: 00 in the morning because they were doing the roofing

Hotel itself desperately needs renovation, hence three stars. Room was decent and service too. The are is not feeling safe.

Always a delight from the open pool tables to the great staff. Muncie specials every evening and nice cold beers

Reeks of cigarettes and the lady at the front threw a tantrum when discussing parking. Have no idea why she even has a job. Really shady people staying here too

The hallways and room 225 smelled of mold, the hotel was noisy, the hotel was dated, and filthy.staff where unprofessional. I further note that they imprint your credit card this practice is outdated and electronic methods are use, the hotel stores this copy of your credit information and can lead to fraud if the room they use to store such information is compromised, It is a fact that hotels have had this information stolen in the past and there have been security breaches.

I would not recommend this hotel at any price simply not worth it.

The rooms were very clean. The receptionist was very thoughtful and kind. They kept the pool open just a bit longer so the girls could go for a swim. Just a very good experience. Would stay here again!

Front desk staff incapable of any problem solving. I waited two hours for a TV remote that didn’t work, room smelled like someone was smoking in it and the bathroom was not clean. If I hadn’t driven all day I would have switched hotels. Also the restaurant has been closed which was not mentioned when I booked this hotel.

Room had a smell to it - almost like gas but it was likely from the pool? Price posted was $95/night. I booked for 2 nights and the bill came to $321.52. When I checked in I questioned the amount and was told because I had prebooked, the hotel could do nothing about the charges. Really? The extra was for 'tax recovery charges & service fees'! So it worked out to about $150/night. If there are extra charges, post that as your price, not the lower number. Customers need to compare apples to apples. Won't be going back.

Stained sheets of blood or coffee and a manager who refused to help in any way as the booking had been thro booking app.

My bf and I stayed at travelodge for four nights, in two different rooms since we ended up booking again and extending our stay. Since we had to check out and then check back in after extending the stay, Suzanne had our room cleaned up prior to regular check-in time and allowed us to store our things with them behind the counter so we could do our excursions without hinderance. It was very appreciated as we didn’t want to lug our things in and out of the car again.

The pool and hot tub area are very nice, it feels like a tropical oasis, great value for our money and time in Winnipeg. We would definitely stay here again!

Terrible customer service! Refused to honor rate advertised online then after the 15 minute check in process told me a CAA discount was 4 dollars less than 5 percent. The room is ok other than the washroom and bathtub are filthy! Complete disappointment.

I travel for a living from Alberta to Manitoba. THIS hotel is my number ONE! Where should I start? The best part is the bed and it has real PILLOWS! Not those flat paper ones that no matter how many you have they are still flat! The bed is a pillow top and the sheets were soft and crisp. I stayed for 4 nights and I could not wait to get into bed every night. I am a high maintenance gal with lots of hair and beauty products and the bathroom and tub surround had all kinds of spots for all of my needed bottles LOL. I was by the pool and actually it was quiet. I very much enjoyed the view coming out of my room every morning. The staff were lovely especially Suzanne. On my first full unsuccessful day, I was not very happy and her greeting at the front door snapped me out of my mood and she even walked me to my room. The property is older but the condition is still good and very clean. The price was under $100 every night so this hotel can NOT be beat. I have Suzanne's card for my next trip to Winnipeg.

A/C didn't work. No shampoo or conditioner. We were booked at a room far from the reception, so when the access card didn't work, I had to walk all the way back. Vending machine didn't work. Only two cups provided for a 4 person room.

Very bad experience here, checked in and immediately noticed the room was not very clean, hair on the counter and in the bathroom, soap wasn’t changed on the counter etc, but decided we were there one night and it wasn’t very expensive. Until, After a long day of shopping we returned back to the room and opened the bed to find multiple clumps of long hair in the bed and woven into the pillow case. Clearly the bedding hadn’t been changed but instead just made and left for the next guests, we called the front desk asking for a full set of bedding and about half hour later we were given a-couple pillow cases and one sheet, far from enough to do the whole bed. We requested a new room which we wanted cleaned and inspected before which we were told wasn’t available because the hotel was busy, with less then 10 cars in the parking lot I have a hard time believing this to be true. Ended up requesting a refund at 12: 30am and found a much better hotel. Disgusting and inconvenient. Wouldn’t ever stay here again.

Wasn't even noticed when i walked in nor was i greeted had a confirmation number with ids forgot my credit card from the night before from using my card to pay for the room with and was turned down even thoo i have Booked worst hotel ever

Terrible. As my review has not shown up since I wrote it days ago ill write another and see it this one also doesn't make it up. I was late getting into bed and didn't check the sheets, when I woke up in am there were red/brown stains on the sheets which were very old. Manager said not their problem so I paid $100 to sleep in someone else's fluids. Nevermind the yapping dof in the room beside us. Everything was terrible.

The staff was the friendliest i have met traveling so far. Very helpful as well. Clean rooms. Quiet at night. Had a great time.

Definitely an enjoyable stay we had room 140 Pet friendly, clean room, clean bed, big bathroom, NO BED BUGS, enough great choices for there breakfast, really nice bar, an gaming room the food at the bar was Amazing, loved the wings an poutine definitely would recommend to friends and family.

Good quiet location. Nice rooms too.although the mattresses felt like a sponge when i sat down would need to upgrade that.
