True North Square Liquor Mart

I’ve had good experiences at this liquor mart buying wine and getting help. I like the setup and size personal small.

Other than the parking situation in that part of the city (I recommend the “Pay By Phone” app), this liquor store had a great selection. I even found drinks I had never seen before at other locations.
It was a bit hard to find but the store was clean, well laid out, and the staff were pleasant.

Behavior is very rude, I just wanted to buy bottle of vine but was treated like down person.

Honestly the nicest liquor store employee ever. I was new to the province so she helped me with a selection of locally brewed beers! Nice

Keep the security lady, she is nice, and competent. The others: kind but shes the leader of the them all.

Staff we’re not friendly. One of the staff members walked up to a friend of mine and asked him to leave and then shortly kicked us all out because it was their personal problems.

Small place so doesn't have everything but has enough for your needs. Cold beer & wine. Beer is limited but the major ones are there and some craft brews as well.
The liquor section is where I find lacking but then again it's a small store. Convenient for those downtown.

Workers were very kind and helpful, even though our ids were scanned upon entry, they were scanned once more at checkout, it’s what I like to see. The store was kept very tidy and floors were clean. Great atmosphere

Too many people complain about the stairs (or elevator) and two sets of doors it takes to enter, but with the frequent theft at the last location it's only understandable and really not much more effort than it took to enter the mall (especially when the walkway reopens)

Worst location. Whoever decided on moving this place from City Place! You know what, never mind!

They had a good selection of local brewery beers. They also had a good selection of French wines and a variety of liquor.

This LC moved from its convenient location at City Place to the second floor of a deserted tower, up a flight of stairs, past several weird doors and down 100ft of featureless hallway. The selection is smaller, too. All in all some classic pathetic Winnipeg city planning.
Staff are great.

I have been there twice and they keep changing the way you can enter by locking different sets of doors. Also I thought all MLCC stores in Winnipeg were going to have entrances where they screen IDs -not this one. The second time I arrived to two police officers dealing with a situation. The store is also smaller than the one that was at City Place. This one clerk is also the most unfriendly, disinterested person I have ever encountered. Worst location ever.

I found the staff very friendly and helpful. However, the store’s location is so inconvenient. You have to take an elevator, go through a set of doors, then walk down a long hallway to get to the store. Its ridiculous!
