Dmytro and James were our movers, they did a fantastic job at a price that was very pleasing, they were very fast and efficient putting the items were we wanted them and hooked up everything so it worked perfectly. We were very nervous about moving but this company is top notch so I would trust them with another move if I was moving again. They are very professional and courteous. Thanks alot guys!

They damage items and then refuse to fix them, don't waste your time. So unprofessional.

Hired to move our house of 10 which they said would take 5-7 hours with 2 truck and 4 guys. It took nearly 10 hours with 2 of their trucks and they still didn't finish and we were left to finish ourselves. In the process the broke our 65" smart TV and told us it's only worth $265 so that's what we got for renting TV boxes. They also backed into a tree on our property and damaged that as well as a 6ft x 2ft x 2ft terrarium that was not covered by them. Would rate lower but unable too. Would not recommend to anyone even if they wanted to hire then to haul literal garbage. So now the end result was an unfinshed move a broken TV a damaged terrarium a messed up tree and a nearly $2000 bill for thier "service" and we got $265 to replace the damaged 65" roku smart TV.

Great service! From the initial booking and the customer service simply from the phone, to moving everything to our new apartment. The crew who moved my items was awesome. I was very pleased with the way they packed our kitchen and the way they were careful with our things. Definitely would hire them again!

Drivers unnecessarily parked far from the curb blocking the entire street to vehicle traffic and refused to move over slightly to allow vehicles to pass. Very uncooperative staff on truck. Does not seem on brand for “guys with big hearts”

The guys were on time, kept in contact with us and were generally pleasant to deal with. Very helpful onsite answering and helping out where needed. Would definitely use them again!

Unbelievably customer service from the caring friendly patient 2 men Andrew & Ryane that moved me from Winnipeg to Gimli on April 24th. The men communicated with each other and had motivating teamwork. They worked so hard and yet never complained once about anything even if it was to heavy or challenging they just made everything so easy and yet they always had a smile. True respect these men had. Ryane explained the policy and procedures before the move and made sure I understood or had any issues. Also the men did a walk through before they started so they new exactly how to plan there truck. True professionals. I couldn't stop bragging to all my friends and social media about the customer service I experienced. Diffently recommended Two Small Men With Big Hearts for they did repensent there name. Not recommended! The appliance place we ordered from used this company and it has ruined moving companies for me.

Do not sign the "no damage to property" line even if you don't see any. I noticed that they dented our brand new hand rail, and scrapped our new fridge against our brand new from door 5 minutes after the delivery guys left. When I called to have this issue fixed as the damage was noticed basically immediately following delivery, my claim was declined because that line was signed.

They also didnt take any measures to protect our brand new carpet from the mud caked on their shoes. Took me hours of scrubbing to get it out. Every other company I have had experience with in the past either provided tarps to walk on or boot covers when shorts are required.

Maybe if you only have really small things that you need moved and don't care if they hit your walls or doors might be fine, but I would never use them again to move large items or especially new appliances.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! Damaged my personal property and refuses to pay. AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS!

We changed dates three times for various reasons and Two Small Men were very accommodating. We finally got it done today without a hitch. The guys were right on time, explained the paperwork, and loaded and delivered well within the estimated time quoted. Today we received good value for services received. Would be happy to have the same crew working for us on any other moves we might make.

The customer representatives were a pleasure to set up the appointment and confirmation. Elaine was wonderful, quick responses, fair and thoughtful. Rayan and Logan showed up for the job in good spirits, they were efficient, professional and genuine. Even after the elevator went out of service the guys were determined to finish the job.wow amazing I'm so grateful.

It costs $900 and takes 8 hrs apparently to move this. Also got a hole in the wall. The movers were working in unsafe conditions as the ramp was slippery which probably slowed them down and cost me more. And of course, no one cares. Not impressed at all.

The two movers, Ryane and Drew, were amazing. They were quick, friendly, professional and extremely careful with all our belongings. Communication before and on the day of the move added to the excellent customer service. Easily the best moving company (and movers) I've used in Winnipeg!

I moved on the morning of Aug 3 from a Winnipeg west-end house to an apartment in Northdale, Kildonan area. My movers were Brendon & Mohamed, both strong, fit and professional. I had doubts about going with a move where the bill would be determined by how many hours rather than weight, however this was the most efficient and low cost move I have ever had, and I've moved many times over my life. These 2 young men surprised me by saying they were doing another move later in the afternoon. I can only offer praise for their work, and would recommend "Two Small Men. " to anyone in Winnipeg.

Having spoken to 3 different people to orchestrate our move appeared to be challenging as no one seemed to ‘relay’ what needed to be moved, etc. Between my husband and I, we had to confirm what was being moved, etc.

Knowing there were heavy items, including a loaded tool ‘chest’, they were not prepared or experienced in moving a fully loaded tool chest. That said, it was painful to watch them literally ram the chest onto the ramp, only to realize after 30 minutes of what was a futile attempt, they painfully rolled it back to the garage. Being the homeowner, and concerned of what their actions may have done to the integrity of the chest, chose to get involved. Asked that they stop putting all their efforts into one item, stop wasting time and get other items moved - time is money and the tool chest was not productive. One employee contacted the office to explain the challenges with the tool chest and suggested she was concerned with the safety of the employees, etc.

What should have happened after 15 minutes or so, they should have communicated with the homeowner regarding the difficulties and considered alternatives. This did not happen. As mentioned, only after we, the client got involved, did things start to happen.

Taking that conversation into consideration, safety and all, the other two gentlemen continued to take matters into their own hand (e.g. (one carried up an apartment size deep freeze, by himself), up 13 stairs from the basement, outside the home, and to their truck parked on the street. Not a safe act considering their was ice, blowing snow, etc.not to mention, gruelling on his body.

Although the employees may believe they can do certain things alone, they potentially could experience life long ailments.

Communication is definitely lacking - at least in our experience, and could be improved upon.

Yes, our move happened, but the overall experience would have been better.

The movers were late but efficient and hustles to get the job done in the time span of the booking elevators at each building.

We had 450 boxes moved into a basement. Not an easy job. Every box had to put on a shelf in a specific order. The guys were fantastic. Everything was put where it needed to be. Thanks guys, great job.

I had a really bad experience with this moving company (Two Small Men with Big Hearts). Their fee is that of other professional moving companies, but their on-the-job service is deplorable and was disappointing, to say the least.
The most unbelievable part of my experience, was that they actually forgot the last piece sofa in the elevator, forcing me to run after the truck to ask them to come back to load it up. What’s more, they forget to bring the FOB key when first showing up, and to end things as they started, they put together a dresser with the mirrors installed backwards. It’s hard to believe such a company stays in business!

Great move! Brendan and Nathan were polite, fast and very responsible! They took time to wrap everything and packed the truck carefully. Highly recommend this company!

I recently contracted with Two Small Men With Big Hearts to move my furniture which included many very very heavy and large pieces. They did so with competence and good humour. I was amazed that none of the walls were damaged considering the size of the pieces! When a handle broke off one of the antique pieces, Logan took it home to repair it on his own time and returned it good as new. This team of Logan, Logan and Dustin embodied the motto of compassionate and caring, and I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a future move. Bev Forbes

Today 1 woman & 2 men arrived to move our families hundred plus year old piano. The three of them couldn't have been more careful & accommodating. The piano weighs a ton. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. Due to unforeseen circumstances, our moving plans changed 3 times which was upsetting to us, but each time I phoned TSMWBH, they changed their records and our moves went smoothly. They called a few days before the moves and again the day of the moves to confirm pick up and delivery instructions.

The three young men at pick up and the two young men at delivery were friendly, polite, professional and very hard working.

Fast, efficient and nothing broken. Really nice people to deal with. Office staff who booked the move were very helpful. They sent a list of do's/don'ts/suggestions that saved us some trouble, time and money.

The entire experience was amazing. Communication was always very good. No surprises. Movers were polite, professional, quick and careful. I was very impressed and would easily recommend this business to anybody and everybody!

I was moving between cities, so we planned for the 3 days: packing, loading and driving, unloading. The movers spent the packing day shoving everything into boxes (including my iPad, which I needed), then shoving them into the truck in a disorganized way, then announced in the late afternoon that they wouldn't be able to fit everything (there was >1/3 of the truck left, plus they'd been loading some things that were supposed to stay behind) and would be leaving that night and sending a second truck the next day, requiring me to be in the new city to unload early the next morning!

This was NOT the plan, and it was also totally unnecessary! I told them (and their boss) that I needed them to fill the truck once only, packing it properly (that didn't happen), and unload on the date agreed. At that point, the movers developed an extremely rude and unhelpful attitude. They roughly loaded our trampoline (first insisting it wouldn't fit - it's only 8" round and fit flat against the truck's side standing on its side), and when it came out it had 2 tears in the net. (it had none before). Some of my other items were flung on top in places where they could be scratched or damaged. This crew was extremely unprofessional and tried to completely change my booking without discussing with me or even communicating it at all. It was quite a shock to be told they were about to close the truck and leave a day early, and would be unnecessarily sending a second truck at my expense, and requiring me to drive back and forth to unload! Wtaf? !

When I spoke to their boss on the phone, he indicated that he'd told me a couple of days prior that my home contents may not fit in one truck. This is true, however I'd sent my full list of contents to Two Small Men prior to booking (and also, I've moved a ton, and my items DID fit in one truck). He tried to use that as an excuse to completely change the plan and leave with the last 10 feet of their truck completely empty!

Fortunately, they sent a different crew to unload, and that went just fine. My iPad was found in one of the boxes 4 or 5 days later (I hurriedly tried to unpack all the boxes in order to find it!). We are getting small insurance claim that does not cover a new net for the trampoline.

Overall, this was a mixed experience. It wasn't all bad, but the initial crew clearly just wanted to get back home early and were trying to compress two days of work (one of packing, one of loading and driving back) into one. They became extremely nasty to me and rough with my belongings when I asked them to stick to the plan.

So, I would NOT recommend Two Small Men. I would not care to repeat this experience.

Two Small Men with Big Hearts exceeded my expectations for our out of town move. Leading up to the move day, the team reached out a few times providing updates and reassurance.

On the day of the move, Candace and her team arrived on time and quickly got to work. They were friendly and professional and an absolute delight on what I anticipated to be a stressful day. The move was completed earlier than was estimated and everything arrived in perfect condition. I honestly cannot say enough good things about the team, they were great.

Highly recommend them if you're looking for a moving company and we will absolutely be a return customer if we are ever looking to move again.

I've unfortunately had to deal with several moving companies in the past few years, but I was fortunate to finally discover this gem of a moving company! They are by far the most friendly, professional, fast and reasonably-priced option I have found!
Their arrival was slightly delayed due to some tech issues, but Greg was so communicative at every point and I felt totally kept in the loop about what was happening. Once they arrived, things went so smoothly, they managed to load the truck in 45 minutes (!) and were so courteous and friendly the entire time, which is even more impressive because it was a 3-floor walk-up at both locations! Despite this, they made quick work of efficiently and carefully unloading all my belongings. They came through with such high quality service, I was honestly quite impressed. Overall an incredibly positive experience, will definitely be booking with them again! But not too soon I hope!

We had a great experience with this company! The team was very professional, polite, efficient, and hardworking. They moved our three bedroom house from Steinbach to north of Winnipeg in one trip which was estimated to take 7-9 hours and they did it in 7 (on a hot July day). They took great care of all our items, large and small with nothing damaged. This included some heavy exercise equipment and a freezer up and down stairs. When shopping around for moving companies, it seemed they were one of the only companies with the option to move on a weekend during summer which was a big advantage for my family. We are very happy we went with them and would recommend them to anyone!

Billy and Alex were great. Got a later start than planned, but got down to business and got the job done. Took a while to finish the move due to the multiple stops to drop off items, but were polite and friendly the whole time. Thanks.

We used the company for a local move and found they were very unprofessional. As soon as the truck arrived with our belongings at our new home, they reversed it into our house and damaged the roof. Neither mover apologized or even admitted to the fact they had hit the house, they just started grabbing items and asked where I wanted them to be put. I went out to address the fact they hit the house, and still no apology or assurance that they'd be more careful with the rest of my items or that they'd cover the cost of repairs.

Terrible experience. Please hire a different company. They broke a lge mirror. They didn't have a door stop. They stood around talking and wasting time. It took much longer than it should have. It cost almost twice the quote. I'm a senior and this took all my budget. I was quoted less than $400 and I budgeted for $500. I had to borrow $250 from my family. Oh, and this move was just around the corner. Save your money. HIRE A DIFFERENT COMPANY.

Awful experience! We were quoted for 2 men taking about 6 - 8 hours but 3 guys showed up and convinced me to pay for all 3 so it would take less time. They ended up calling in another crew after 9 hours because they weren't close to being done. Second crew was amazing but the move ended up taking 11 hours and cost us more than double.
