Bought some jeans here, look to be good quality 511. Lots of quality stuff here, and the staff is super helpful.

Sam continuously goes above and beyond to provide great service. He is knowledgeable and thorough at providing great information. I have difficult to fit feet and Sam took time to ensure I was a satisfied customer.

Worst shopping experience ever, placed an order in the store (paid) for a Boonie hat, clerk told that they have one in the Toronto store and it would take a little over a week for they to get it in Winnipeg. I waited 2 weeks, went back to the store to check on it. Then I was told the hat is on back order and no one knows how long it takes to get one. At the time, I had no problem with that. I decided to get a different colour and picked up one in the store, paid again. Then I asked for my refund for the previous hat they never had, the guy worked on it for 10 min and couldn’t figure out how to get me a refund, he checked with one of the managers, who doesn’t know either, but he promised me that he would do it the following day (Monday) and give me a call. He never did. I waited till Wednesday, called back, different manager answered, this time a lady. She took down my credit info and told me that she would do it in the next 20 min. Waited till Thursday, still nothing. Called back to the store again, once again, different manager, I had to explain the whole situation once more. After which, she promised that she would do it right away. Guess what, nothing! I called again on Friday, asked for the same manager, (it took me a few tries to get ahold of her) she told me that she could find my credit info. I told the info again. And waited waited, finally got an email from her with a refund receipt. Guess what. It was NOT the correct amount. I tried to call her for 2 more days and I also emailed her immediately after I received her email. No replies what so ever. I just called again and still waiting for my full refund.

I’ve never had any shopping experience as bad as this one. Try your best to avoid this store.

Great place for work wear and military footwear not many places in the city for this type of stuff I only wish it was bigger with more stuff

Have shopped at Urban Tactical many times and have had nothing but positive experiences. Helpful and friendly staff. The new location is very nice, and I really appreciate the improved parking over the previous location!

Delt 100% online with Brendan, one of their employee, and was blown away by the EXCELLENT customer service. Helped with choosing the correct size pants by sending tons of photos and comparison, amazing customer experience. In fact, I will be back purchasing another pair of pants soon.

Lots of excellent products here. Staff don't seem to care much about pr tho. Just stand around the desk and talk.

Best place to get boots! I had Branden help me pick out a few pairs and will keep buying boots from him.

Do not buy from their website! Their website is NOT kept up to date with inventory in-store. I ended up asking for a full refund after waiting MONTHS, the excuse I constantly got when sending follow up emails was “global chain crisis and chain demands” sure I get that, but don’t have it on your website as available to purchase when you don’t even have it in stock!

If you plan on going to the store, I’m sure they have stock and you can’t buy something at the store that they don’t actually have.

This all started when I got a winter combat shirt online, wore it twice for work, and it broke. Sent it back and they said the new one was coming in “next week” and they could get it to me. Needless to say that didn’t happen, some of my coworkers have had the same experience as I have with Urban Tactical online store.

I don’t think I’d be doing business with these shady practices.

However the customer service was good and communication was timely.

Went into the store not too long ago and noticed they had a fantastic selection of products. Lots of choices to choose from and such great customer service. I was blown away by on the workers there named Graeson, if you want a guy who knows what he's talking about you go to him. He gave me a wide selection of boot choices and gave the benefits to each one in each scenario they could offer. Wonderful customer service from him and an excellent job at getting the customer the choice that best suits there style, job, and comfort!

Outstanding customer service. Will definitely be back for a Yeti cooler in the future. 10/10 would recommend.

I picked up two pairs of 5.11 duty pants on the weekend. The staff was friendly and helpful as always. The only downside was not having my size in the colours I wanted. No big deal, I picked two different colours.

I’ve rarely had a good experience with ordering over the phone or online with this place. I’ve had the wrong pants shipped, orders not filled with no explanation provided and serious problems getting ahold of anyone over the phone. Also sometimes it takes forever to have an order processed / shipped and you end up waiting weeks! In store the availability is decent but if you’re ordering online I’d suggest you try another place like 9-11 Supply in Calgary. Never had an issue with them!
