Why does a nonprofit organization think that they have to have self checkouts totally disgusted
will never shop at value Village again

Two days ago I was accused of oooking like someone who shoplifted there n I got told to get out of the store n security was called infront of my little girl. I was upset how the lady handled it n when I asked for explanation she said plz don’t use that card on me about racial profiling. She’s like “you people” always do that. Well hello look what happened to me she embarrassed me infront of customers n accused me of someone else’s n causing a scene infront of my daughter n she looked scared. After I explained n she apologized but this I hope it doesn’t happen to another indigenous women who gets wrongfully accused “because you look like someone who stole before”. I recorded the video. Shared it on my fb. I will never go there again.

Prices of their items is too much being a thrift store. I prefer buying at salvation army or other local thrift stores which are still in a good to perfect condition at a reasonable price.

Overpriced considering it's donated and used. They were asking $16.99 for really rough looking shoes.

There are definitely some really good deals but as well I had seen some items that were more expensive than what I paid for the same item new at a retail store.

2nd most expensive VV in Winnipeg, but closing ranks quickly. Prices have escalated exponentially over the past 2 years, lots of dollar store tat at inflated prices. And for the higher prices, you can enjoy checking yourself out- if you would like to risk buying clothes that you can't try on/return if they don't fit. Feels like they should drop the "value" from their name.

Place is over expensive. Video games cost more then online with shipping and tax. Greedy.

Also I tried to bring my bike in (as I had no lock) then was told I couldn’t, so I was leaving by going through the exit… and the security guard and the butch lady tried to take my bike from me and stop me. Which I couldn’t of left on her right side as there was no space. Negatively handled.

MAY 31st 2023, found something that I wasn't looking for. They always have something of interest. Check them out.

Went thrifting here. Found some decent items for my house, and the prices are fair. Would go back

Sometimes it is best to find cheap deals, I can't say it is good nor bad, you never know what you will find, I have found bad items and I have also been scammed at this store, thus is where the argument of having actual thrifting knowledge comes in over the years, it is a great place to go if you know what you are looking for.

To the little white boy with the black framed prescription glasses and that dummy green vest. WORK YOUR WAGE! Youre out here criminalizing poverty at a job that doesnt even pay you a livable wage. AND TO THAT FILIPINO GIRL WITH THE TIGHT PONYTAIL.y’all are both protecting a big corporation that gets their inventory for free and marks up the price 10x more FOR PROFIT! VALUE VILLAGE WOULD LEAVE YOU STRANDED THE SECOND YOU INCONVENIENCE THEM.lets see you break a leg outside of work.value village would NOT CARE ONE BIT.value village used to be a thrift store that serves and looks out for lower income families/people but they are clearly motivated by money and profit. IF YOU WANT PEOPLE TO STOP STEALING LOWER YOUR PRICES.

Good sized store, lots of clothing and housewares to choose from.

Awesome staff and security on site plenty of parking spaces. Very fair prices on the products they have in store.

Every day I have come to the store. Someone has ran out with items, or ran out the emergency exit. Black Bird needs to step up their game.

I like buying things n stuff fr "Value Village" it's pretty good to go there they have everything that u want there?

All sorts of fun thriftstore treasures. Ridiculously over priced. In most cases items are more expensive than buying new. Takes the fun out of thriftstore shopping.
