It's an ok place but not for me to stay there as I don't like seeing inuit when I'm in winnipeg

The stay was great.the service at the front on the other hand was very rude there was no hi nothing she just took our credit card and told us the room number she did not even tell us how much she charged our card.everyone else was nice and the room was very nice and everything else was fine but the service at the front desk that night was un acceptable.

Clean room 2 with laminate floors, which was nice. Comfortable beds. Pleasant staff and the bar staff very friendly. I would stay again.

Always a staple but getting run down. Not cleaning sheets on bed. Fresh blood stains (of the monthly flow kind) on bed from previous guests. Not very welcoming with covid protocol stillness in play here. Can't here the hosts behind the mask and plexiglass. Makes you feel not welcome and uncomfortable. Covid is over, dark period of time and this reminds you of that. Used to be a great place.

I should have read more reviews before booking this hotel. I guess someone's definition of a "renovated room" is different than mine. New floors and paint is hardly a renovation. The furniture in our room was damaged and in rough shape. The ground prong on the plug for the lamp was broken and now a safety hazard. The armrest on the chair was broken. The shower handle was loose, curtain rod bent so after taking a shower the floor was soaked and, the toilet ran all the time. The hot tub was out of order and they made no mention of this on the web page. The covid plexiglass panels are still up at the front desk. The staff who checked us in and out were not overly friendly. They didnt explain anything to us about the hotel when we checked in, just threw the room card and wifi code around the plexiglass and pointed us to the elevators. Same thing at check out, tossed the receipt on the counter and sent us on our way. We also got to enjoy an overcooked breakfast which came out with incorrectly cooked eggs. There always seemed to have people just hangin around. I think biggest annoyance was the smokers at the doors. Each time we arrived or left there were at least 2-3 people smoking right outside the doors, especially the doors leading to the covered parking lot. It wasnt just patrons of the hotel, staff too. Despite there being a sign indicating that they were to stay 15 meters away but that was where the over flowing ashtray was that never seemed to get emptied. So cigarette butts littered the ground. Plus being a covered parking lot the smell just kinda hung around. I would never book this hotel again, Im shocked that this place got any positive reviews. Perhaps my standards are too high but at $180+ per night, I expected way better service. I only gave 1 star for the house keeping as that was the only positive thing about this place.

Rooms are very clean, and cleaning staff are super friendly. Restaurant is expensive if you are a small eater.

I can't compare it to much, but we liked it. They were with their daughter in May. A room for two - two beds, a TV, a bath, a small refrigerator, air conditioning, a microwave and a coffee maker. There is also an elevator, parking, swimming pool and Wi-Fi. Friendly service in the dining room - the food was served both in the restaurant and for takeout, the portions were large.

The third floor hallway was very smelly. Bad bad. Didn't use the pool, so I can't comment on that. Rooms were clean, and everything was stocked. Accessible parking spots on one side. Lots of parking spaces in the back.

Front desk was very rude when I asked if they have an office space for business such as the Victoria Inn, when I described this to one of the managers he stated “well we are not the Victoria Inn” I just wanted to plug my laptop in and check my email and couldn’t get a proper response to my question. The front desk person said well we have offices here but they are locked. Good grief what nonsense I had to deal with and both the front desk clerk and their manager both told me that their laptop they had in that little desk nook which they stated was for their guests was stolen meanwhile why is that my problem? And if you want a good image as a hotel don’t share such information to your customers. Could it be that I was treated so poorly because I am visibly Indigenous makes me wonder. I didn’t ask for a private office I simply asked if they had an office space where I could use my laptop such as the Victoria Inn. It was only after I spoke about leaving a review that they stated they would clear all charges later in an email, why would they do that if they felt my concern was unjustified. Based on your response as a manager it should sadden you.it means your customers are telling you directly that you need to do better as a business; when being asked if you have an office/ business centre instead of saying “we are not the Victoria inn, and we had our laptop stolen” you should be saying we are working on providing that for our customers.

Very nice and polite personnel.
Clean and quite rooms, and awesome swimming pool with slide and sauna. We really enjoyed our stay there
