Waldenway Canine & Kitty Camp

Our girl Lexi LOVES WaldenWay! She never looks back when we drop her off. We appreciate the photo link and updates of her stay. The staff say she’s a good sweet girl. She usually listens better to anyone but me. We love there are many different people for our dog to interact with during her stay. She loves people. We feel the location of the facility is fantastic and quiet. Easy to find to. Thanks to all the wonderful staff! We are grateful for all of you! Lexi says woof

We brought our two cats there, because the place was highly recommend by dog owners.

To be honest we feel sorry to have left our cats there.

The cat section definitely needs a big overhaul!

When we picked the cats up, our daughter mentioned it looks like a shady cat prison, and that places like the human society in Winnipeg, where we got our cats from, looked much better.

One of our cats had a big piece of feces embedded in his fur.
The two cat carriers which had remained in the "room", where very dirty when we picked the cats up. Obviously not just from one day, but probably the whole time.

As good as the place is for dogs, and I had a look at it and can confirm, why it was recommended by dog owners,

I am sorry, but I currently can not recommend it for cat owners!

. Again the cat section needs a big overhaul.

I know Cat-Hotels from other areas across Canada and Europe, were Cats also have a caged area where they can go out get fresh air, lay in the sun, watch birds and stuff like this.

The smell (obviously not fresh air) when we picked the cats up really disappointed me, eventually this could lead to health issues!

Excellent services at Waldenway! My puppy was played with every day. When we picked her up we received all the journal entries of what she did as well as pictures. I would highly recommend this place!

Waldenway was enthusiastically recommended to us by a number of people and after having our dog stay there I can understand why! I am pretty sure it dogs (and cats) could design a boarding place, Waldenway would be the place of their dreams!

My dog loved it here. They offer play time for an extra cost, which I always do. My dog has only stayed in the winter months, but apparently, they have a swimming hole for the dogs to enjoy in the summer. They provide bowls for the dogs that get cleaned frequently.

Great people, my 2 dogs are always happy when I pick them up. Groomers do a great job too.

I've had a few dogs over the years and have tried numerous kennels for my precious puppies.
Waldenway is by far the best place to kennel your pets (in our case 2 dogs) when going on vacation or away for work. I'll never go anywhere else.
The staff are super friendly and you can tell they are very passionate about the care and well being of your pets. They really know their stuff and treat your pets as if they were their own.
The whole process from booking, drop off, and picking up is easy and painless. Their rates are very reasonable and better than most.and trust me, the ones that are cheaper are not worth it when it comes to the attention and care of your pets.

Great experiences here so far and friendly staff. They were able to keep my dogs for an extra day without hesitation when I had an emergency. This will be my go to boarding facility for hopefully years to come!

Our dogs have GPS collars that track their activity. We have 2 active dogs that get about 100-200 minutes of activity a day. Waldenway broke any records we had set and doubled their normal daily activity. They must have had a blast. Picked up some tired and happy dogs.

We’ve been going to Waldenway for about 15 years and this year we’ve noticed something off about our dog when dropping him off…he loves going to camp whenever we leave but never thought until our nephew mentioned it could be that our dog thinks he is going to the vet because of all the unfamiliar smell.we were still concerned but a few days later connected with staff at Waldenway just to check up on him, sure enough he was himself and having a blast (well for a 15 yo beagle).
return from trip and he was also tuckered out as usual when we picked him up.always happy and calm state of mind.i highly recommend Waldenway for your pet get- away.the team cares about other peoples pets (they’re pet owners as well) and take the stress away so you can enjoy whatever it is your doing.

We have our dog groomed there. The are very professional and have always taken very good care of our dog. We will continue to go there.

Very good place. We asked for the optional service of dog walking, which our dog benefited from. Staff love animals and give them lots of attention. I ask asked them to send daily photos and the staff provided a description of how our dog was doing.
Be sure to explain your pet's meals and treat schedule to the attendant in the office. Some of the treats we sent were untouched, but we forgot to mention them when we dropped off our dog. The kennel staff weigh them regularly and might recommend some grooming.

This will be our family's new overnight spot for our dog! Fantastic job to Brooke and Madison, very kind reception and they clearly loved their jobs. Our rambunctious pup was relaxed and happy when we picked her up, and I saw that every animal had ample room and outside availability. Great job and thank you for taking care of our girl

I boarded my puppy here well I went on vacation. With the lovely girls that take care of the animals and the text message photo updates i was able to be at peace leaving buddy behind. 10/10 recommend Waldenway to anyone who’s looking for a place to send their pets. Buddy will 100% be back.

Not 100% certain, but after having our cats there for 2 1/2 days we think that our older black & white short haired, older cat was given NO medication, while our younger, medium haired, orange cat was given other cat's meds. 2 weeks later younger cat is still "off".

We have left our dog there off and on for most of January, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. We needed a really flexible schedule on p/u and drop-off dates, and we had no issues doing that. Most importantly, the dog was really happy every time she was being dropped off. Thank you!

The staff were attentive and knowledgeable about our dogs. The shuttle service is a great benefit. The only down side was that our one dog did not get his vitamin supplement as requested.
