The firewood at this campground is unusable.

I like staying here but they seriously need a new wood provider. The last two summers have been brutal.

Clean, accessible washrooms and free showers.
Parks Canada Workers were friendly and helpful.
I wish they had some tent specific sites with a grass base.
Overall a well kept and beautiful campground just inside the beautiful Riding Mountain National Park.

Quiet place. It's September and tourists are gone. Kids are back at school and I like it like that.

Beautiful campground went for my first time this last weekend and it was amazing. Super close to town, so we just popped over for food. A little disappointed that fire passes have to be bought here, and the fire places are a little bit hazardous in my opinion, but other than that it was amazing.

Love camping at national parks! They're waaaaayyyy better than provincial. We're at that age where we aren't the loud ones but tolerate the 20y.o. S that are. Stayed there 1 weekend in July w/ neighbours that were 20yos, they were so polite then the weekend after it was all families w/ kids who were the exact same. Camp sites are great, easy to find your site w/ great bathrooms!

Excellent national park campground. Flat, long quite narrow pitches with a good degree of privacy. Lots of trees.
Toilets and showers were clean.
Even though it was quite full it was still peaceful.
The camping is within a safe - mile or so - walk to the lakeside, beach, shops and restaurants which was nice. Many cycled there.
There are boats to hire and boat trips around the lake. Very popular with families and very busy.

Beautiful campground, walking distance to town and lots of biking paths to explore. For the amount of campers in this campground, it is very quiet! It’s in a national park, so you do need park passes.

I’m back yet my heart and mind are still in the campsite. What a beautiful experience to have with family and friends. We were also fortunate to have other families around who were respectful and maintained a wonderful atmosphere (one family as compared was a bit too loud and I felt they were breaching everyone’s privacy up till midnight). The campsite is well maintained. We noticed the park patrol were always on the watch and very helpful. The town and beach is exquisite. I’ll return again and again.

Great facilities, close to the village for a stroll, shopping and lunch. The campsites are a bit unkempt.

Stayed in Wasagaming campground site 511.
Stumbled on a pipe sticking up from ground still attached to concrete probably from an old fire pit that was very sharp & dangerous.
Found leftover pipe & a large concrete chunk in bush just a short distance away.
Staff was friendly & prompt to clean dirty site & cover pipe in site with gravel.
Hopefully, after our visit the pipe is removed!
Definitely coming back to Campground again just not this particular site.

Great campground. Very clean facilities.

Would’ve gotten 5 stars, but the firewood was too wet, and since you’re paying for a fire permit…

Nice campground with lots of privacy in sites. Close to townsite and trails. Roadways in excellent condition. Only downfall is many sites in loop 1-80-something are on sloped ground and in our case septic dump on higher end of site - kind of hard to get that stuff to flow uphill

Great campground with washrooms. Water and electricity is available to every campsite. Bring your own internet and feels like you never left home.

During my recent visit to Wassagaming Campground, I had the pleasure of renting an Otentik, and I must say, it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The campground provided clean facilities, including well-maintained washrooms and available showers, which added to the overall convenience. Additionally, the option to purchase unlimited daily firewood for $10 enhanced the camping experience.

The Otentik rental was a highlight of my stay at Wassagaming Campground. The Otentik itself was well-designed and offered a comfortable and unique camping experience. The structure provided ample space for sleeping, storing belongings, and relaxing. It struck a perfect balance between the coziness of a tent and the convenience of a cabin, making it ideal for those seeking a hassle-free camping experience.

One of the standout features of Wassagaming Campground was the cleanliness of the washrooms. It is always a relief to find well-maintained facilities while camping, and the campground staff did an excellent job of ensuring the washrooms were kept clean and tidy throughout my stay. This attention to cleanliness added a level of comfort and convenience that was greatly appreciated.

The availability of showers was another commendable aspect of Wassagaming Campground. Having the option to freshen up with a hot shower after a day of outdoor activities was a definite luxury. The showers were functional and well-maintained, providing a refreshing experience that helped rejuvenate tired campers.

One aspect that stood out to me was the option to purchase unlimited daily firewood for $10. This offering was a great value and made it easy to enjoy cozy campfire evenings without worrying about running out of firewood. It was a convenient service that added to the overall camping experience and allowed for memorable evenings spent around the campfire.

While my stay at Wassagaming Campground was largely positive, there were a few areas where improvement could be considered. One suggestion would be to enhance the lighting around the campground, particularly in the pathways and common areas. Better lighting would improve safety and ease navigation during nighttime hours.

In conclusion, Wassagaming Campground, with its Otentik rentals, clean washrooms, available showers, and reasonably priced unlimited daily firewood, provided a comfortable and enjoyable camping experience. The campground's attention to cleanliness and the convenient amenities contributed to a memorable stay. With a few small improvements, such as enhanced lighting, Wassagaming Campground has the potential to become an even more exceptional camping destination.

Overall, I would highly recommend Wassagaming Campground to campers looking for a comfortable and hassle-free camping experience. Whether you choose an Otentik or bring your own tent, the campground's amenities and services are sure to enhance your stay in this beautiful natural setting.
