Waterford Smile Co.

So far absolutely horrible.
The big thing I am dealing with now is that they charge you upfront in case the insurance fails to cover a certain aspect of the procedure and they will reimburse you when the insurance claims goes through. We are now months after the insurance has been paid and still no reimbursement.

They hounded us no less than 5 times on the day before the appointment to make sure, and double sure and.quintuple sure? That we were still going to make it. Everything from emails to text messages to multiple phone calls on multiple phone numbers. But now that they owe us money. Or that something might have gone wrong with the accounts receivable or whoever processes their credit card transactions, not a peep from the front desk.

Update: As of 3/2/2023: Office staff would have you believe that for a company that has been around for at least 3 years, no one knew at the time of making us pay over 600 dollars, that the refunding of that amount cannot be done on the same system they used to accept the money.

I strongly recommend this place for your dentals. The lady at the reception was friendly and helpful. The clinic followed up with me to make sure I don’t miss my appointment. I went in for examination and filling, Dr A Alambra and her team delivered an exceptional service. My tooth was painless after the procedure and felt natural.

I had the greatest experience with Dr. Alayna Alambra and hygienist Alyanna. They both made me feel so welcomed and comfortable. Alyanna did a great job on my teeth and was so careful while cleaning, adjusting to make sure I was comfortable. She was very friendly and I left with super clean teeth that I was very very happy with.

Dr. Alambra was kind and genuine. She took the time to walk me through everything I needed and helped me to prioritize what I should do first based on what I was able to do at the time. She also took the time to explain the details of the procedures I would need and did a thorough exam of my teeth. I never enjoyed going to the dentist in the past but I have to say after this great experience I’m looking forward to coming back and working with Dr. Alambra to achieve my smile goals.

I cannot recommend Dr. Alambra and Alyanna enough.

Took my nephew here he had a horrible experience so much so that he felt the need to tell me about in detail. After hearing how my sister and nephew were treated and how the dental work done was below subpar with serious repercussions due to improper handling “he’s already seen a new dentist who confirmed the malpractice and now have to have specialist come in to meet”.

I had no choice but to come here and WARN people that this place has no respect for its customers who spend hundreds and thousands of dollars. As a family man who works hard for his money I can only hope you take my words into consideration before you take yourself or a loved one to this establishment and potentially cause yourself harm

I use Winnipeg Square Dental for all my dental work. The staff are friendly and professional, and Dr. Karm took extra time to fine-tune the work on the base for my crown. I recommend their service.

Seriously the best dental clinic in Winnipeg! After not going to a dentist for over 6 years, the smile team was able to fix my smile again. Ive had three root canals with multiple fillings done by 3 different dentists (yikes I know) and Dr. Nguyen was by far my favourite dentist (Dr. Jeal a close second) that I've had! She made sure I was okay during the procedures and I couldn't even feel the freezing needles going in. She also had no judgement at all towards my broken smile while doing her absolute best of repairing the problems. Instead she encouraged and gave me hope that I will have healthy teeth once again! Thanks Dr. Nguyen!

Their Dental assistants Melissa and Elisa always made sure I was comfortable during the procedures. Melissa made sure to follow up the next day after my appointment to make sure I was felling okay and was very helpful answering any questions I had. Thanks Melissa!

Alyanna is the best dental hygienist you can get! She makes getting your teeth cleaned a fun experience instead of a scary one! She is sweet and caring. Not only does she do the best job making sure your teeth are pearly white but also makes sure you are comfortable at all times! Thanks Alyanna!

Overall, a great place to get dental work done if you are thinking about it! The ladies at the front make payments and appointment booking very easy as well. Thank you Waterford Smile Co for getting me my healthy smile back and for helping me overcome my fear of going to the dentist!

Super friendly staff - from receptionist to hygienist to dentist.
Its been a while since I went in for a clean so I had some tartar build up. TBH I was a little embarrassed to go but they made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. They offered me freezing for the assumed pain but I didn't need it. My hygienist was very gentle. By far the best experience I've had at the dentist! - Ask for Alyanna and Dr. Nguyen.

One of the best visits I have ever had! The office was very clean and they followed COVID protocols properly. The receptionist was very friendly and my hygienist Alyanna was the best! It was my first visit and Alyanna guided me through all the exams/test that were never done before at my previous dentist office and during the cleaning she was very gentle and made sure I was comfortable the entire time! Dr. Raj also went through the things he noticed with my teeth and gave me advice and options for my wisdom teeth! Awesome crew at Waterford Smile! Will definitely be back!

So I had a dental pain and decided to visit this clinic. It was my first visit here and everything was so perfect here. It was from the time you enter and exit everything was awesome. Specially I would like to recommend

I had a cleaning last week and I'm normally anxious when getting cleanings done, because I have had some painful cleanings. I had gotten my teeth cleaned and checked out by Alyanna and she was super gentle! I would recommend seeing her if you're scared of painful cleanings.

First visit, great first impression. Staff: Authentically nice, very calm, very personable, respectful, very professional. I feel very comfortable with the people who work here, from the front desk, to the hygienist and Dr. Raj. Based on the inter-office interactions I observed, the staff has a good office culture. To me how staff are treated internally is just as important as how they treat their customers. Setting: Very well done. Great decor, clean lines in the interior design. You feel calm and at ease here. Experience: My first time was a good one! I was greeted upon arrival, everyone that engaged me regularly checked in on my comfort and awareness of the process. I knew what to expect, and why things were being done. They have interesting tools, including a 360 X-ray scanner and a 3-D teeth scanning device. It it provides a better way to monitor my dental health, I’m fine with that. For your first visit be prepared to spend 15 minutes of them taking scans and pictures of you. It doesn’t diminish the overall quality of the experience. Paperwork: For my upcoming work they produced a printout with the cost of my service, with the insurance coverage discount, and the remaining balance. It’s well-designed report that’s easy to understand. Overall: Waterford Smile, you put a literal and figurative smile on my face. Well done.

I just had really bad gum pain, went to see the dentist here. Dr Raj was very helpful, recommended to book an appointment for cleaning to find out what was wrong before prescribing any medication. Went to get cleaning yesterday, Alyanna an amazing girl, took care of everything and was very professional and patient. She did her best to make me feel comfortable and explained everything she was doing. Really recommend Alyanna and Dr. Raj

For newly constructed area the clinic looks very neat and nice, haven’t been to the dentist in years but having this newly developed dentist close by home makes me want to go back, recently had a cleaning with Alyanna, highly recommended, informative, kind and gentle and made the cleaning process not painful at all. Also Dr. Raj for explaining the information and concerns I had very well. Overall rating 5/5 stars, look forward to coming back.

First visit today and it exceeded my expectations. Everyone is genuine. The facility is modern, clean and inviting. Front desk person charmaine? (happy birthday) did an amazing job. I came earlier in the day just to get a vibe for the place and her giant smile and professionalism immediately put me at ease. Dr Raj was direct and showed me images of all my teeth. I have a lot more appreciation for what is going on in my mouth when I see the images. Thanks to everyone (Alyanna) who took good care of me.

Dr. Raj and the staff at Waterford Smile Co are truly a dream team. Dr. Raj is the very best dentist I've ever met, a real class act and professional. I am very pleased, I highly recommend this place. I finally have my smile back after 18 years plus. Shout out also to Alyanna and Melissa for making my visit a memorable one. I really enjoyed my experience at Waterford Smile Co. I have been going to Waterford Smile Co.since they opened and the staff there are amazing! They make you feel welcomed right when you walk into the door. Alyanna is my dental hygienist and she is amazing, she makes you feel comfortable, explains everything and answers all my questions. Loved my first visit for a cleaning and I will be back! Very nice new office with very modern look and modern equipment. They have great freindly staff who are very knowladgable and make sure you understand everything. I had the pleasure of having one of the owners / Dentist who checked me over and she also was more then polite and very friendly, everyone there is very kind and very helpful and concerned about me and my experience, well it was more than wonderful and I am terrified of Dentists and needles so that is a tough thing to say for me. I haven't seen a dentist in over 10 years then I broke a tooth. I called Waterford Dental since they are new, I figured I would give then a try. All I can say is WOW! Very professional, friendly staff. They made me feel really welcome. Dr. Raj is really good at putting my fears at ease. I had a crown put in and I couldn't feel a thing. I had to come back to get my permanent crown put on and again, it was super fast. I had a cleaning by Alyanna, and it was very thorough an my teeth felt very clean after. I can't recommend them more!

My wife and I are very grateful that we've made this place our dental home. Both of us have only positive things to say about their entire staff. I've had cleaning, filling, and multiple wisdom teeth removal and I am personally impressed with their dedication to making you feel comfortable throughout the procedure. No doubt, I highly recommend this awesome clinic.

My husband resched a few times because of his changing work schedules and was gladly rescheduled without any problems or charges. When I experienced some problems with a staff the owner tried to reach out and resolve the problem because of that I am giving these stars.

This had to have been the best experience I've had going to the dentist. Right from when you walk in the door and are greeted by Charmaine, you automatically feel welcomed in, and already get the friendly kind of vibe Waterford Smile has got going on. I hadn't been to the dentist in a few years, just because of negligence. Which none of them ever made me feel guilty about at all. Alyanna was super nice, and made my whole cleaning and check up go fast and easy. I ended up needing a root canal unfortunately, but thankfully to my surprise they told me they were able to do it for me the same day since I had a free day. I never would have expected that kind of speed or service with something like this. Dr. Raj and Melissa made sure that my root canal went as easy and painless as possible. I can't compare this to other root canals, since I've never had one before, but aside from the fact you don't really want to have a root canal done, I'd say that this experience was super easy and enjoyable. Aside from just the root canal, Dr. Raj explained a few other problems I had and added some suggestions, but never made me feel like I was being forced into doing anything, every procedure they laid out for me was left completely up to what i wanted to do going forward. Like I said, best possible experience I think you could have at the dentist, I would and definitely will be recommending! Thanks for all the great work guys!

OMG, Alyanna is the best! I really thought my previous hygienist is good. But Alyanna is way way way better. She went into every tiny details and took care of my teeth. My cleaning was very painless. Dr. Raj was so nice too. Waterford Smile Co is a very friendly dental office. I brought my whole family over and they also love it! Highly recommended!

Very high tech and you can tell the staff care about you and that you’re not just a patient! Alyanna is very informative during the cleaning. I like the fact that I didn’t have to wait long in the waiting room or to see the dentist. At my previous dental office - I would wait an hour to see the dental hygienist and then another 30 mins-1 hour to see the dentist. Waterford Smile Co definitely are always on time!

I recently switched to SmileCo because they opened another location close to me and I am so happy that I did! The staff are very open, friendly and thorough.

When I was getting my teeth cleaned, Alyanna (the hygienist) explained different things she was doing and why, which was nice because while I would get my teeth cleaned routinely, nothing was ever explained to me before. I do want to say that after having my teeth cleaned, I honestly feel that it has never felt so clean before - and again, I would normally go for a cleaning every 6 months at my old dental office.

I am often weary about going to my dental appointments as I have sensitive teeth and when I do go to my appointments I would usually come home with aches and sensitivity. After having my cleaning done and fixing two fillings at SmileCo. I had NO pain or sensitivity at all! I even received a follow-up from Dr. Nguyen to check how I was doing (as I had mentioned in my initial consultation that I was worried about teeth sensitivity), which has never happened to me in the past.

I highly recommend SmileCo.and I am so happy that I made the switch!

Very clean and open office with very professional and awesome staff. Alyanna was very gentle but extremely thorough. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about her profession and really cares for her patients. Fantastic hygienist. Dr. Nathan was very in depth with explanations and explained it in a way that was easy to understand in a calm and compassionate manner. Left with a lot of knowledge, prevention, maintenance, and the current status of my teeth. Highly recommended and look forward to my next and future appointments.
