We haven’t been to the Duck Mountains for over 10 years. Decided to rent a cabin instead of camp. To booked the cabin was simple (I phoned)
The cabin was Great! Cabin 3. It was clean and the lake front scenery was amazing!
The Wifi was excellent. We got a free box of firewood which was used for two evenings.
Quiet since it was off season.
We will be coming back again!

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and appears clean.   I like to try different items on the menu but on this visit we ordered the Lodge burger and fries. The food was fresh, tasty and seasoned just right. The burger was very filling, didn't need a side with it. We received very good service, our server was friendly and attentive. He even refilled my cola beverage before my asking. Since the new management we have eaten here on a few occasions and we are always pleased with the food and service. We will definitely keep returning.

The lodge got new owners a few years ago, the food and company is excellent, and are why i love going there!

This is the worst run business ever! It should be reported and closed down.
DO NOT RENT A CABIN! They are not as advertised, run down, fire hazard that nobody maintains. I’m sure the owner is hoping for a fire to collect insurance money!
The store/lodge/restaurant is hardly ever open. Everything is overpriced and the food is not that good.
Now this horrible manager is about to purchase another business and run that into the ground next.
Save your money for a well run business that maintains everything and has regular hours.

The fishing was mediocre, didn't really catch anything. The cabins were comfortable but I wouldn't have the heater going right when we arrived in the middle of July.

Really looked forward to spending some time with family in this cabin with "fully stocked" kitchen. Unfortunately, fully stocked did not include any kitchen linens and those 2 towels we had to walk to the lodge and ask for were stained. Very sparse supplies in the kitchen (glad we brought our own dishes which should NOT be necessary at the price they are charging). Bed linens were dated and not terribly clean. The blanket supplied on the hide-a-bed was mistaken by a visiting family member for a livestock blanket.

Had supper at the Wellman Lake Lodge. The food was excellent and plenty of food for your money. We were impressed and will be back. Good job guys.

Love this place! The new owners are fantastic! The food is so delicious and all home made! We had supper and breakfast there-so good! Beautiful docks to swim off of, fish or just sit and watch the sunsets! Lots of grocery selection and beer and other adult beverages. Love the amenities like the showers, tennis courts, play grounds! 5 stars all around!

This restaurant has portions that are HUGE so bring your appetite! Takes a bit of time to get your food, but worth it!

New owners just took over on January 5-2020. Great home made food. Open on the weekends for the winter, planning to have supreme gas shortly for sledders.
Cabin rentals available for winter also.
