This is a fantastic venu for music. They're bar needs to be ripped out and redone as there is zero back bar for spontaneous purchasing. I strongly believe their sales would go up!

Interesting building quite clean. However as a straight woman. I don't approve neutral shared gender washrooms it's really awkward. I can tell between the men's and ladies washrooms. However seems some men are respectful when using the restroom I guess.
(Went to see a new gaming event)

Equally good place to see your favourite musicians on tour, or to host your wedding. I've done both!

Excellent Entertainment Venue. Excellent Environmentally friendly building, great lighting and sound systems. Good washrooms, great volunteers and staff.
Gender neutral washrooms.
Wheelchair accessible

We were still using masks for today. After April 2023 the board is announcing it will only be recommended to use masks instead of required.

I love this space. Very unique and very diversify of people who show a complex of entertainment, venues and memorials to those that have made a special impact to the community of this great city.

Friendly staff and volunteers. Very welcoming. Clean, comfortable, funky. Encouraged guests to host events there. Great all around viewing of the stage. A quaint venue with charm. Loved the old style strings of clear bulbs suspended above the gallery.

I live in Saskatoon so this was my first time at the WECC. I came to Winnipeg specifically for the Jim Cuddy and Sam Polley show. It's a great little venue, very community- and environment- conscious and welcoming to all. The staff and volunteers are absolutely fantastic. I very much appreciated the free water and the ability to jump the line to help myself to it as I only ever drink water at concerts. I'm triple vaxxed and boosted and have no real issues with their masking requirement but I found it odd that rolls of paper towel were standing out on the counters in the washroom. People were washing their hands and holding down the top of the rolls with one wet hand in order to tear off a piece of paper towel with their other hand. Not everyone washes their hands thoroughly and it does seem like a very high possibility of contamination happening, which seems at odds with the need to mask. A more sanitary way to dry hands would likely help in keeping people healthy and safe. But, overall, a lovely venue and even lovelier staff.
