Wheat City Laundry

I went through reviews before going, seen could be expensive with range of prices. Nov 2023
I did 7 standard residential size loads for $36 wash and dried, paid just over $5 per load. Took about 1 hour walking in and out during the busiest time of week Saturday morning, I thought it would take longer and cost more. Owner was there cleaning up while I was there, very nice person who helped me out quickly with a smile on face.

Appliances work great, prices are reasonable. Bathroom for customers and lots or room to fold clean laundry

5 star. Owner can't be in 100 places at once. I understand that. The times I've been in there felt very welcome and my laundry came out very clean. I appreciate the service. I can get what would normally be a weeks worth of laundry done here in an hour. As for the price. I've been in apartments that charge 2 or 3 times the amount this laundromat charges.

Clean and lots of room for doing laundry and folding lots of big load washers and dryers.

I live downtown in an apartment with no laundry services, so I’ve tried out a few different laundromats around town. This one is by far the best! It is very well maintained, very clean, and the owners obviously have pride in providing this service to the community. While the upfront cost of machines seems higher than most others, I find that since I’ve been coming here, I’ve spent less on my laundry. This is the result of other machines eating coins, not working properly, or not getting the best bang for your buck on dryers. I have yet to have a coin eaten or clothes come out still dirty. The only thing that would make this place better would be if they had wifi, but I understand why they don’t.

As I mentioned, I live downtown about two blocks from the nearest laundromat, but the bus ride to this one is well worth the trouble!

Property is well maintained, the owner is quite friendly, but it's gotten quite expensive.you can expect to spend $8-15 per load (including wash and dry) depending on what machines you use
