Winnipeg Beach Provincial Park Campground

Grew up camping during cthe camping season out there along has changed but for the better the beach is awesome the park was spacious and clean grass was green sky's were blue sun was shining all around great time

Great beach! Lake is huge. A lot of places to eat nearby if you don’t feel like grilling. Water not too cold either.

Beautiful campground. We stayed at site 104. It is spacious, close enough to hear the waves and close to washrooms and showers.

It is a wonderful location to visit with your friends and family. I found a bench dedicated to all the lost children.

Fantastic beach area with Boardwalk.public. Washrooms plenty and nearby, and both beach and a treed grass area right by the beach

Beautiful and Picnic Site. Place to visit with Family and Friends. Clean Beach Side and Side Walk Road. Well Maintained and Decorated. Lots of Space for Camping and enjoying with family and friends. Close by Markeet and lots of parking space. Easy to approach and close to Winnipeg.

Went to the dog beach for the first time. Doggo loved it. People were good about picking up after their dogs.

Very nice beach with lots of amenities. The shoreline and the first ten or so feet into the water is super rocky, so would highly suggest water shoes as your feet get sore fast!

I really liked the beach, it is clean and sand is very nice. I really appreciate that the beach is supervised and there are lifeguards there patrolling the coast line. The also have a dog beach where you can have fun with your pet and that is awesome because very few beaches have this option. Now about the downsides. The beach is really spread out geographically and there are only 2 washrooms/changerooms there. And they get locked at 5-6 pm which is crazy because many people would come in the evening to enjoy already warmed up water. And after the finish there is no place for them to change. 24 hour washroom is available but it is a movable washroom with a capacity of 1 person of each gender. For such a huge beach that is located so close to Winnipeg having just one washroom after 6pm is insane. Especially right now, since many places (like shops or cafes) no longer have public washrooms due to COVID-19.

The beach looks fabulous, the water is warm yet refreshing and there are plenty of animals such as pelicans to be spotted nearby. Camping grounds, picnic tables, public restrooms, small shops and restaurants are only a few feet away from the beach.

Went with family and my dog for a visit this weekend.it was a nice experience. Only issue we had was the insects in the grass area

Very good park located close to Winnipeg. Excellent for biking and walk beside the beach. The beach is great for swimming. Good place for a 1 day outdoor.

Historic maybe not what it was in yesteryears. A shame things can not be like that again.but good beach quaint stores and camping

The beach was a little rocky but otherwise really nice. The main street of town has a few local shops/activities that I love to visit each time I come out here. Overall a very relaxing place to spend a couple days

Rocky shore to stumble over until you get to deeper water. Lots of picnic tables and ice cream shops.

Clean beach, nice sand to dig in, water is cold but nice on a hot day. Lots of restaurants close by. Easy to find parking on the streets.

We were looking for a nice place by the lake for a picnic. We did find a firepit, but it was a bit far from the lake, and from the parking lot (recommend bringing a wagon to transport picnic supplies). Proximity to Winnipeg was nice, but also means it is a busy park.

I have loved spending my vacations at Winnipeg Beach. Great beach and lots of it. Life guards to help keep folks safe. I drive all the way from the BC coast to spend time with and for those I love.

Fantastic place for a weekend getaway, or a Sunday stroll. Beautiful and historic downtown, great boardwalk, and fantastic beach. Small-town feel, with a unique vibe.
