World Famous Palomino Club

If I lived in this city I would be here literally every Friday. Cheap drinks for a club. Downstairs bartenders were quick and friendly. Coat check was instant. Live dance floor. Music was very danceable and the right volume. I went by myself and was playing pool and dancing with a group of awesome strangers within 15 minutes. Wall to wall packed with beautiful women. I did get grabbed and dragged by a bouncer but I was somewhere I wasn't supposed to be and its a rough area at night so fair enough. Wish I could go back tonight.

Horrible club. The barback Olivia is a drunken idiot who knocked over a drink onto my wife. Why are the employees drunk on shift at this place.and security has to be a group of hired thugs who beat up patrons any chance they get.

Went to experience the nightlife, have to say love the vibe, atmosphere is on point but DJ um not so so. Me being from the south I wasn’t expecting much dirty south music, but the DJ needs a better play list, me being a hip hop head I have no problem listening to country, pop, and any 80’s music being I grew up on most of it, tonight I might of heard 2-3 hip hop tracks and when played he would get the crowd going just to ruin it with a mix of something that does not flow with the track. I understand this is not maybe the main vocal point or crowd this spot is trying to reach but at least play more old school RnB and a few more 90’s hip hop tracks from all regions west east and dirty south if not going to play any 2000 and up dance
music. I was in the area to see if this would be spot to go if we ever did a trip and don’t think it would be worth the time If this is the same DJ and format every weekend night in the main room. I’ll say this if you like a DJ that be’s everywhere with he’s mixing this is the place for you, if not check other events in the area first. But all in all meet a few cool people in there.

Horrible Experience here. First the bouncer tells me that my empty, yes EMPTY, reusable water-bottle needs to be held by security at the front while my bag is checked. After spending lots of money on drinks and in turn being tipsy, I forget to retrieve my $50 reusable water-bottle from security as I leave during closing. I realize that I was forgetting something a few minutes later, but it was too late, the front door was already locked up, but I could still see my expensive water-bottle sitting by the shelf at the front. I go to the back and tried to raise attention to staff that was still working, and 3 staff members completely ignored me despite raising my voice so they can hear. One finally comes over and tells me that there is nothing that they could do, that it was security's business and not theirs and to come back at tomorrow when they're open. Feeling a little bit of faith, I go home and wait till tomorrow. Tomorrow comes, and I come back to Palomino and explain to 3 different staff members my situation. After 2 minutes of looking, they told me that material such as water-bottles that were forgotten at the front are to be considered confiscated and to be thrown out the garbage at the start of each shift day. I find it revolting that this company completely disregards the common notion of the possibility of sober/drunk clients forgetting their belongings in their bar and not holding on to it for more than one day in case they come back looking for it. How disgusting for them to just throw it out. To think what this company would do to more expensive belongings of clients such as iPhones and wallets. I will no longer be a patron here and will be spending my money to more ethical bars. I urge others taking the time to read my review to do the same and spend their precious dollars elsewhere.

The Palomino Club has been my favorite bar for 17 years. The staff are beyond amazing (Scotty & Lisa are the best), the drinks are delicious & the variety of music played is awesome too. If you are looking for a great time, choose the Pal. The place never let's you down!

They posted a tiktok video showing they dispense Clamato from their soda gun. If you have a fish allergy, do not drink here. Water and all pop/juice will be contaminated.

I loved it.gets noisy as the evening unfolds but allows you to meet various people if that is your goal.the barmen are professional and hospitable.

Apparently barred for life…got pushed around by big women and scratched up my knees. The bouncers are so mean. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone ever again.

Could use some repairs but they're not robbing people with their drink prices and staff are typically nice.

It might have great service, great food and great music but the location of the place can be pretty iffy when it comes to closing time, saturday nights are pretty bad around here in the summer time at closing time

Why do a mandatory coat check just to steal. It’s ridiculous what they did to me here honestly. Stealing a prescription sunglasses that cost a lot of money is ridiculous. You guys are thieves.

Having a no sweats allowed rule is pretty dumb considering it's the coldest week of the entire winter

Why are these people acting like a 5 star resort with a no sweats allowed dress code, there's nothing on there website having a dress code but you're not allowed in if you wear sweats. Go to another bar

Best club in Winniepg, staff are all amazing always friendly and attentive, bouncers are always looking out for fights, and creepy people preying on women, making sure everyone is safe. 100% recommend going there for a good time. Music and vibe is also great

I like the vibe downstairs. The bartenders are friendly and the bouncers are always alert in case there are unwelcomed touchy feely guys or fight instigators. Can’t wait to come back for NYE party!

Tony the bartender was downstairs and he should always be up at the main bar. He’s the only reason anyone shows up. Grow up

Wow so I’m banned from here for life. For fighting when I was literally jumped by three women twice my size. Sorry I was defending myself? ! And the bouncers didn’t even really do anything. Absolutely sick to my stomach.
