Best cheeseburger I've had in a long time!
We stopped in to the restaurant for a late lunch while camping on Deer Island yesterday - the restaurant is very quaint and the property well kept. The menu is extensive and everything was enticing, but opted for the cheeseburger platter and it was delicious - a classic, diner style cheeseburger, perfectly buttered and toasted bun with a well proportioned patty and toppings. I have to say I regret not ordering the fish too because it looked equally as good. Service was great and we will return next time we visit this lovely island!

Great little motel+restaurant in Deer Island. Diane was absolutely wonderful to us. Room was clean, tidy, and spacious with a dining table (#10). We enjoyed the in-room coffee and quiet surroundings. Our dinner of battered scallops were worth the trip alone! We will return for sure.

Best fried fish I’ve ever had! Coleslaw was fantastic. The turnip/carrot mash was to die for. The woman who runs this spot is so lovely. Great service, adorable interior and even better food! Thank you so much.

Fantastic fish and chips! Went there with a group to go, and we got excellent service and amazing food. If your on Deer Island, it should be a crime to not stop at the 45th parallel for lunch.

Even though fog settled over the island in late June and hasn’t lifted, the 45th Parallel Restaurant is open daily from 11am-7pm. Their lobster roll is fantastic and the fish is alway cooked to perfection. I love their scallops and mozza sticks too. Not in the mood for fresh seafood from around Deer Island? Try a burger. The 45th burger is a huge hit! Stop by and support our local restaurant owners. If we don’t support them, we will miss them when they are gone. Thanks Diane and Janice!

We came here for lunch and it was delicious. I got the fish n chips with a cesear salad. The fish was cooked to perfection. Very yummy!

The scallops are delicious! They melt in your mouth. Locally caught is always the best. The service is friendly too.
