I went for a repair, he did not fully fix it and he told me why you did not not tell me it is not completely fixed, who is the mechanic here
He is the opposite of humble, thinks too much of himself, unfriendly, arrogant. He always says he can not fix stupid, that why for sure he is not able to fix himself.

I had a challenging experience with ACE Automotive Fredericton during my recent alignment work on November 11th, 2023. Despite paying in full, the job was left incomplete. I had to get a tow into Fredericton and was only in town for a short period of time, Ace was immediately able to help me with three repairs over the course of a few days and was excellent in helping me understand the repairs, what was necessary, and insurance details. My partner and I are so so greatful to have found Peter and Ace Automotive. We have been on a trip driving the length of Canada when our car decided it had had enough, unfortunately for us we were on the other side of the country and we needed to get all the way back to BC.
Peter immediately welcomed us and made us feel reassured that everything would be ok! As first time car owners we knew very little about cars, Peter and his team diagnosed the problem and kindly took the time to take us into the garage to explain exactly what was wrong with our car and how the parts should be working correctly. It turned out our transmission was damaged which had also damaged the clutch - nightmare!
Peter went above and beyond to help us with our situation, his acts of kindness were truly exceptional and made us feel very much at home as we waited for the parts of our car to arrive and be fitted. Peter did what he could to keep the costs as low as possible, and we left paying far less than we first expected. We couldn't thank Peter enough for all his help and wisdom. Our car is now driving and sounding great!

This summer, while vacationing in our small Class B motorhome we broke down outside Fredericton on a Friday night. Uugggg.
After spending a hot and sticky night in the wreckers yard we had little hope of finding any mechanics on a Saturday AM in summer who would be open or have an opening any time soon.
The only place open was Ace.
We called Ace, Peter answered immediately, and after hearing of our plight arranged a tow to his shop within minutes.
There ended up being several problems which he and his team expertly diagnosed and remedied as fast as they could, considering parts had to be sourced and ordered in.
They went beyond what the average shop would do, and found additional related problems that needed attention and that others obviously missed.
The vehicle has never worked better.

Peter truly cares about his customers and gives of his time and expertise so that those travellers that experience a breakdown near Fredericton have one less thing to stress about.

My confidence and trust in Peter is such that I would consider driving to Fredericton to have Ace work on our camper, as I have found no one comparable in HRM.

GO HERE! I booked an appointment last minute after discovering an issue with my car that was going to keep me from traveling for work. The folks at Ace got me in right away, immediately identified the problem and fixed it in 20 minutes. Plus, since it was such a quick fix, they didn't charge me a cent! Could not more highly recommend this place!

Got stuck in Fredericton on a Saturday with car trouble and Peter took my car in. They did an excellent job at a very fair price. Best experience I've had with a mechanic.

I personally have had very positive experiences with them, and so has everyone I've recommended to them. The owner of this shop is an absolute gem. He is kind, accommodating, and most importantly, extremely knowledgeable. I was having AC issues, and he was very patient with me, and took time to help me out despite it being the end of the day and still very busy. Him and his team work very hard to ensure that you are well taken care of, and is very supportive of members of the Canadian Armed Forces. Ace automotive is truly focused on customer service and care. I am happy to continue to support this business, and recommend them to anyone who needs an honest, skilled mechanic.

I called Peter after numerous other calls to exhaust shops, the qoutes I was getting were just way to much and I decided to try Ace on a whim, I couldn’t be happier with the service I received from Peter and his staff! Wow!
I showed up and Peter came out to my car and looked at the problem, he said no problem I can put a piece in there, mind you I had called lots of shops and been told I needed a whole new exhaust. Quotes at 1000$

Peter ordered the part and I went back an hour later and they did an outstanding job on my car!

Well I must say, Peter (owner) is an absolute gem! His customer service is excellent and it is evident that he truly cares about his customers and their experience. For someone like me who doesn't know much about cars, he really helped guide me in the right direction and gave me very honest advice and instruction. I really appreciate an autobody shop that doesn't take advantage. So, don't think twice about it, just get your vehicle serviced here and you will not be disappointed!:)

Ace Auto had squeezed me in quick for MVI that was expired. I order Brake Rotors from an online parts company & completed repairs myself for Failed Inspection.

Peter and the crew here are the most honest and genuine mechanic's I've ever had the pleasure of meeting! I called on Thursday, was in on Friday, and they had my car ready to go by Monday. He brought me into the garage to show me exactly what was wrong, what parts were needed, and explained the solution so I was able to understand everything. Where do I begin? I was passing through Fredericton on my way back to Ontario and my battery light went on. I suspected right away it must be my alternator. Normally this sort of thing doesn't phase me, but, being a long weekend 1200km from home.it certainly added a level of stress. I was so fortunate and am still feeling super grateful that I found Peter's shop, Ace Automotive. When I called, I wasn't even expecting an answer as it seems most shops in Fredericton don't even open Saturdays. When I explained my situation, Peter didn't hesitate and told me to come over. He assured me he could do the job and get me on my way. They brought me in right away and started working on the car. He sourced out the part and I was out of there in no time! Then, when he gives me the bill, the price was more than fair. He literally could have charged me anything he wanted! I even caught myself saying something I never thought I'd say to a mechanic "you can charge me more". Everyone wants to find a great mechanic who's honest and friendly. With Ace Automotive, I found all of that and surprisingly more. The owner is a highly experienced and educated mechanic and engineer who has worked on far more exotic machines than anything in my garage. His staff are knowledgeable, hard working, and precise. In my case, another garage wanted to charge me close to $3000 for parts and labour that in the end, I didn't even need. Ace correctly diagnosed my car's problem and had it fixed quickly for under $500. I highly recommend this business for its professionalism, customer care, and commitment to excellence. I cannot speak highly enough about Ace Automotive! On a trip from NS to NB on a friday night, something happened where my car wouldn't go more than 50 km/hr and the RPMs were high. Saturday morning, called them and he couldn't promise to squeeze my car in, but he did. All resolved AND, he gave me maintenance tips and checked in once we were back home in NS. Everything about this was perfect.fixing the car and customer service! Thank you so much Peter!

I am from out of town and while visiting Fredericton ended up with a broken pipe in my exhaust. (SO LOUD!) I called up Ace and they got me right in, (just before they closed) a quick clamp and a fix and a cheap price! They saved me from a really loud 1.5 hr drive home. Thank you so much!:)

I had a great experience here. The owner was really professional, super friendly, Courteous and honest. Probably the best garage I've ever dealt with.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Never seen a great guy like the owner. Was heading home for vacation (I am student) and my engine light went on. I know I had something wrong with the transmission so I just wanted to see if I could get home safely and fix it at home. I arrived there and they were close, so I decide to call anyway to check if it was really the case. The owner picked up and told me he was close but could help by phone. So after a while, he just told me to stay there and he'll be there in 20 minutes. He checked everything on the car, when for a test drive, fixed a few things and told me I was safe to drive home. I tried to pay him and he completely refused.

If you're in the Fredericton region, I encourage you to support his shop!

I had a phenomenal experience at this place, they were able to slot me in last minute for an oil change in tire season. The owner was professional, kind, courteous, and made it very clear that he is not about taking people’s money. He made suggestions about some work that needed to be done and gave us the prices with no pressure attached. He even directed traffic to make sure I was able to safely back out on to the road. He went above and beyond. The prices were extremely reasonable and quality work! I will be going here again in the future for sure:)

There were soooooo many things wrong with my car when I went to get it inspected. When I was there the third separate time during my vehicle's repair process. I really noticed how peter and his crew treat his customers. It really shows that Peter does not want customers to spend loads and loads of money, he also doesn't want them to worry. Peter looked for the most cost effective way to do my Ebrake shoes and everything else on the list and was successful. You are in very good hands if you take your vehicle to ACE auto.

Travelling from Ontario to Newfoundland. My exhaust snapped in 2 and I called every shop in the city with 30 minutes till 5pm. Every single person did not offer any assistance and said they cannot do anything for me all the boys are packing up and going home. I called Ace Automotive and when he was about to close, he didn’t and instead stayed open to help. I cannot thank the boys enough.

A few hours later he even called me to check and make sure I was okay and had arrived at Moncton safely.
