Atlantic Veterinary Hospital

We’ve been dealing with the vets and techs here for years. They were quite amazing with the loss of our last dog and now that we have two Rhodesian Ridgeback‘s they’ve been fantastic to deal with. We’ve come across a couple complicated situations over the last 18 months with our new dogs, and they have been their every step of the way. Follow up …follow through …and communication. Great job all around.

I love the Atlantic Veterinary Hospital. They take such good care of my pets Charley a Mastiff/ Lab mix and Tillie my little female black kitten. I have complete trust in their medical expertise and advice. The staff are always so pleasant and knowledgeable, and friendly. The Doctors and Assistants are well educated and take very good care of their patients. Most especially Dr. Lauren Brooks and Dr. Angie Robinson. Everyone there is so kind and caring. I love them all and have complete trust that they take care of my beloved fur babies and that they will receive top notch care and treatment while at the Hospital. The front desk is always pleasant and helpful and calming, when needed. I'd be comfortable with any of the Doctors here, but we have always had Dr. Brooks and cannot say enough about how good she is! Thank you!

Great clinic, large comfortable waiting area. Friendly staff and vets. I moved from Ontario and and they got my dogs records from my previous vet and had reviewed his history before my visit. Excellent clinic.

Update: Maggie received excellent care from all the staff and the doctor when in for her spay. The staff thoroughly explained the medication and what to expect in the next weeks. I really appreciated the doctor following up with me the next day and answering all my questions fully. The stitches are healing nicely. I am very pleased with the service I was provided by all the staff.

First visit was for an emergency surgery in January 2022. Ever since then I won’t take my dog anywhere else. Compassionate and knowledgeable care every single time. Prices are reasonable and appointment availability is perfect. Doctor Kelly and doctor Brooks work so well with my nervous golden retriever, they never make me feel bad when he has a nervous pee on the floor.

When what we thought would be just a small normal visit became time to say goodbye to our beloved family pet, the vet and staff handled our pet and us with empathy, compassion, and caring.

The vets we have dealt with over the years here have all been great. Thank you for giving our pet such a healthy life and great care.

The vets are very nice, but they lack transparency in their prices. I never come out of there paying what I was told it would cost. It's always more.

All areas everyone from desk clerks to Doctors have an amazing caring way for handling your family pet their hearts are in this job they also give the family great support for handling future care educate us as well.

The staff at Atlantic Veterinary Hospital were so sweet & caring with my 5 month old kitten, Sally, during her spay and provided me with everything to give her a comfortable recovery. Definitely recommend!

We are new (ish) to the area and unfortunately our first visit here was to send Emma, our beautiful 15 year old Cockapoo, over the rainbow bridge. </3 Dr. Kelly was truly amazing. A true professional. Sympathetic, calm, relaxing, and inviting. There was no rush, no pressure, and she reassured us we were doing the right thing. She made making the worst decision as bearable as possible. We immediately trusted her and had confidence in her. Emma never left the room, and they gave us her favorite liver treats to spoil her with. My heart still aches and I miss our Emmi so much. But I had to share my gratitude and thanks to Dr. Kelly for being not only an absolutely top notch Vet, but also a truly good person. We will be back for sure with our other animals, in less of a sad situation we hope, for check ups & routine care. Thank you again. <3

This is a great veterinary office, I was lucky to find a new vet so soon after moving to the area and know my pets are being treated with care.

Bon service mais cher. Ils ont fait un test, sans me préciser qu'il coûtait 80$, il juste dit: je vais aller vérifier pour voir quel médicaments donner. Mais bon mon chien va bien c'est l'important ️ très belle accueil et endroit propre.

These guys have been the health care provider for our animals for a few years now and they are simply wonderful!

Everyone is so caring and professional. The Dr’s are amazing and you can tell they live what they do.

Great service the girls at the front were nice! The vet was super nice when I saw her as well my dog seems to be good so very happy normally he’s not a fan of the vet but did very well today that tells you the vets here love the animals!

Do wish they would talk just a bit more with their clients to be a bit more personable:) :)

Dr. Deborah Kelly is an absolute treasure. She is kind and compassionate, takes time to listen to all of our questions and concerns. Our dogs adore her, they are calm and relaxed during their exams and vaccinations. We appreciate and value her wonderful expertise, knowledge, and care!

Very friendly, courteous service. Great prices comparably to other clinics I've looked into. Their pet-cremation services have been above expectation. Our 2 previous cats were attended to at their clinic for end-of-life processes. Beautiful paw impressions and ink prints of our deceased kitties.

Had to go here under the saddest circumstances, and everyone was so wonderful and kind. I look forward to my fur family getting to know everyone there.

We absolutely love this hospital. Our baby boy Mac (15 week old Havenese) adores his vet. Our cats, well the stress of it all, you know, just want to stay home. For Mac it is a truly welcome outing, with great treats.

We have always had great experiences with staff both past and present for over 20 years.
Dr Brooks examined our male cat this year and also examined our youngest cat at her appointment this week. We think Dr Brooks is wonderful with them and we look forward to bringing the cats in for their next appointments.

The care and service level the team at Atlantic Veterinary provides is second to none. They never hesitated to answer my millions of questions when I got my first pup and continue to provide peace of mind for anything other questions that may come up. They’ve been fantastic to deal with and we’ll continue to bring all of our animals here.

I had a great experience with Dr Brooks. She was very through and gave me the required medication and also options for future treatment of my dog. I felt my concerns were listened to and addressed. I did not feel rushed or pressured in any way. The reception was very welcoming. Almost a complete 180 from how I felt with my other vet. Thank you.

I called with a minor concern and got in the next day. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. The Vet listened to my concerns and explained the plan of care clearly, as well as the plan for follow up. Great experience!

Wonderful staff, Doctors are amazing I can not speak highly enough. My little guy Squirt goes every 5 weeks and treat him the same way every time. It's like his first visit they make a big deal about my little man.

The staff is AWESOME! My dog is a a frequent flyer there and she actually runs to see them. She has seen every vet dr is excellent!

Our puppy has been going to them since we got him at 8 weeks. Love the staff and how they treat our pet.

We just started going here and we are so glad they took on our 3 girls. We are very pleased so far with the care they have shown our 3 dogs. Very caring and they take the time to exam and explain any issues. Dr Brookes has been amazing:)

I recently brought my dogs in for vaccinations and microchipping. Staff were all very professional, my dogs were well-cared for during the procedures, the doctor let me know what to expect when I took my dogs home, and he followed up with a call the next day to check on them. I highly recommend Atlantic Verterinary Hospital.

After a very difficult few months, we had to say goodbye to our beloved Sadie, and the doctors and staff were incredibly warm and empathetic throughout her surgeries and treatment, and were very accommodating and extremely kind on Sadie's last day. It made a very difficult process just a tiny bit better, and for that we can't thank them enough. They are a wonderful, caring team.

I’ve been to Atlantic veterinary clinic many times in the past.
Sadly due to having lost my dear little cat Scampi boy to cancer years ago. I haven’t been there in a long while, but I knew exactly who to bring the new member of my home (little Penny) when she developed an irritation in her ear.
When I called, I was given an appointment for the same day.
We were welcomed warmly, and little Penny was handled gently and professionally. The staff is so compassionate.
I was shown exactly how to administer her medications, and I’ve been managing well here at home.
Penny isn’t fond of the ear drops of course, but they are definitely helping her recover.
Thanks to Dr Brooks and her assistant, Penny is well on her way to recovery.

They treat your animals with respect. Give them treats when they do good things and treat you well here. My dog loves going to this vet now!

I used this vet for two surgeries and yearly vaccinations, as I was new to the area. The attending vet did not advise me that my dog needed to return for a booster shot a few weeks later (informed by another vet). The same attending vet was only to perform the spay surgery and not the secondary eye surgery (due to lack of experience). However I was informed upon picking up my dog and noticing the repaired surgical area did not look as it should that the vet with limited experience had performed both surgeries, even though I had been ensured during the initial consult that a senior vet with experience in eye surgeries would perform the surgery. As a result the eye surgery has to be redone due to the fact that only 2/3 of the ingrown eye lashes were removed and the vet left my dog with Cherry eye. The vet then tried to tell me that the mistake was only cosmetic even though I can now see into my dogs lower eye socket, where dirt and debris can now collect. The vet then had the audacity to advised me that the vet clinic was not only charging me again to correct their error but that they had increased the cost of the needed repair by almost double and offered an approximate discount of roughly 20% to further the insult. This vet clinic is solely about the Money and very little about the animals. Choose wisely for your furry loved ones!

Dr. Blaney and his team are exceptional! They truly care about your pet and offer professional services. Switched over just recently and can not believe the level of care they provide. Would highly recommend Atlantic Veterinary Hospital to all my friends & family.

Kind, skilled, professional are just a few of the words to describe the veterinarians and staff. A very clean and modern facility too. We drive from town even though there are vets much closer to us. They were so caring when we had to put our dog with cancer down and so joyful and supportive when we were ready for our new pup.

Best Vets in the Valley. Dr. Blaney and his staff are more than top notch. My Great Dane kept getting what was thought to be bacterial infections but after the 3rd episode in a year, Dr. Blaney decided to do some biopsies. He found that my baby has food allergies. Worked with me to get the proper food, care and education to prevent more flare ups.

My cat broke out of his crate on the way to this vet and they lent me their crate to take him home. Not only that, but they carried the big crate out with my cat in it and put it to my car! Since my cat was stressed out at his appointment, they gave sedatives for his next visit, and the whole experience was free since they did not get a chance to examine him. Great experience with Dr. Morris and staff!

Dr. Morris is amazing with our furbaby Pumpkin. The staff are exceptional! I would not take our Pug anywheres else!
