Auberge Gabrièle (Hôtel & Restaurant)

We booked a night away for a late Valentine’s Day excursion and were not disappointed! When booking the room online, I requested flowers in the room for my fiancée and arrived to find a vase full of beautiful roses. The king superior room was very spacious and the jacuzzi tub was beyond relaxing after a long day. We’ll definitely be back!

I can’t say enough about the amazing staff! Everyone we dealt with was extremely accommodating and pleasant. Stacey made sure we had everything we needed upon checkin, Rachel prepared and served wonderful breakfasts and Maria, our dinner server, was so much fun. Also highly recommend the Lobster Linguine. If the staff here are any indication, Shediac is the friendliest place in the province! Thank you for everything!

Charming bed & breakfast style accommodation in a great location. First impression upon arriving in the parking lot was that the building was in need of some attention to freshen up the property. Check in was easy enough though; our 3rd floor room was very spacious although needed to be cautious walking around with the low slanted ceilings. Jacuzzi was nice to unwind after a long day of driving. Appreciated the AC but was too loud to sleep with it on, so relied on the ceiling fan (opening windows would have been nice except for the noise from the Main Street traffic). Breakfast in the main floor restaurant was good and convenient, before heading back out on our Maritime road trip.

Stayed here for our anniversary and had an amazing experience. The room was a great size and the jacuzzi tub was a nice touch. The sunset view from the balcony was beautiful. We will stay again. Also the staff (lovely woman) was very accommodating and we received any extras that she was able to provide like an extra bath robe and some no flame candles.

2022: Lobster Roll correct, bien qu'il y a de la mayo et de belles pinces, il semble qu'il manque un petit quelque chose, un assaisonnement pour relever et lier le tout peut-être. Cependant, avoir le choix de l'accompagnement (salade au lieu de frite) était plus que bienvenue. Ça ajoute de la fraîcheur à l'assiette. 25$ l'assiette est à mon avis un peu cher, surtout pendant le festival du lobster roll. Bonne bière. Service courtois.

We had a lovely meal on the enclosed deck, watching the sun set. Mussels were as excellent as the friendly and efficient service. Highly recommended.

The owners went out of thier way to make us feel welcome at at home the room was wonderful. We will do this again

Really tasty food! My husband and I got the seafood chowder which was so different from all the ones we tried in the maritimes. It had coconut in it which made it so much better. The lobster dinner was perfect. The fish burger and fries were so fresh and crispy. Amazing friendly service from Joline who also gave us advice on top attractions in the area.

Beautiful building with friendly staff and owners. Food is delicious but more expensive. Comfortable rooms in a great location.

I didn't realize how small and quaint this inn is but for a building built in 1840, the Gabriele is very comfy, warm and cozy. There is no fridge or ice so bring a cooler. Yes I would stay here again. Excellent menu and prices are very reasonable.

Ugh.we waited 1h to eat after we ordered. Overpriced for the portions (which are a joke). It's really tasteful but I think they up the prices during summer. We eat like kings for this price in other restaurant of equal quality. The place is crowded anyway so it must be normal to pay 30$ in NB for a meal you can cook home for 4$.

This place had the best chowder I had on this recent maritimes road trip. Seafood casserole was good too.

They did run out of mussels unexpectedly, though. Nonetheless, a very good experience.

Très bon endroit pour souper. Table d'haute à la hauteur. Sélection de vin limité et prix légèrement dispendieux. Le détour en vaut la peine. Le homard est leur spécialité

Belle auberge près de la baie à Shediac. Ambiance chaleureuse et décor rustique! Nourriture excellente!
