I came to get some compost to give my garden a good boost. They had two kinds for me to choose from. The woman in the office happily did the math for me when I presented her with 3 different sized storage containers. The compost is legit. I got the seafood compost and if you look closely, you can see lobster claws in it. Everything was easy to access and there was a large variety.

I feel now would be the right time to send out a word of warning. Last summer we bought soil from Audubon in Moncton. We ordered three yards of gardening soil; however, what we got instead was top soil which was pebbly, hard earth which contained broken pieces of GLASS. My wife was dubious that this was any type of gardening soil, but the manager assured us that we could grow to our heart’s content. By mid-summer we had a pitiful crop, nothing would grow. Frustrated, we provided pictures to Audubon’s “manager” who confirmed that we were supplied the wrong soil, and that it was indeed top soil instead of gardening soil. It took forever to have the matter attended to since the owner seemed to ignore his own manager, and completely ignored our calls to have this resolved. It came to the absurd point where the manager and owner were arguing between themselves about which type of soil was delivered (not kidding). We requested they come pick up and replace the soil provided with what we had ordered. They would not take the soil back (which would have been doable for some of it since our
vegetables are grown in raised beds in wooden barrels). The owner informed us they are not equipped for soil pick up, so we got reimbursed for the cost of the soil and that was all he could/would do for us. However, this didn't compensate for the money lost including the seeds, many compost bags to try and amend the soil (this was before Audubon had admitted their error), our time, our water, our lost crop, and time trying to get this resolved.
This spring I’ll definitely be getting REAL gardening soil, and hopefully will have healthy crops like I used to have before I was sold the wrong soil from Audubon. I know this may be a long review, but I really felt compelled to send out a warning about this company that does not seem to know what they’re selling, and, when in the wrong, takes a lot of running after by the client to try to resolve their mistake. In short, get your gardening soil from anywhere else, but NOT Audubon. Definitely not the company it used to be.

They drive around with untarped loads and refuse to do anything when they cause other vehicles damage.

Contacted them for them just to ghost me, will also be reporting this to the cops and dot.

Had a couple issues with my order and manager and owner stepped up to resolve.staff is friendly

I bought some marine compost, put it in my weedless garden, next thing weeds started coming faster than I could pull them out. They are more expensive than elsewhere. I will not go there again, even if I am in a rush. And I did not have the benefits I usually get with good compost.

Exceptional customer service as always. They have great products in their yard. Highly recommended.

I ordered a large amount of garden soil from this place and was VERY disappointed. It was mostly clay, very little compost or peat. Test results for nitrogen and phosphorus come back low. I've had to spend hundreds of dollars more improving the soil. This, in spite of me specifically asking Audubon if it would be good for planting veggies in as is. They assured me it would be. Won't be ordering from them again.

Wasted my time. Had top soil booked but no call back to confirm if they will put soil on front lawn. I had to follow up. They said no, truck will dump in driveway only. Cancelled ordered but after a week prebooking.

Called Audubon for a load of top soil at 10h58 AM October 9th. Expecting the advertised price of $285 per load with free delivery as per the attached screen shot of their website. I was quoted $516 taxes in including delivery. When I mentioned their advertised price I was told that was no longer available even though I informed them it was still clearly advertised on their website. I was then told that a boss needed to be consulted and that I would be called back. 45 minutes I called back as I had not been called. I was told that they were waiting on there webdesigner to get back to them (not sure what the relevance was for the web person in this case), but they could offer me a load at $355 plus tax and that delivery fee wouldn't be charged. This happens to be what they updated their site to reflect in the interim. However I was made to feel that this was some sort of a deal. Needless to say I will not be supporting this business now or in the future as they do not honour the services and fees they advertise. Update: in leaving my review on the Audubon Facebook I found they are still advertising at $285 but by all evidence this is not in good faith. See screen shot.

So we ordered garden soil and mulch. We'. Re not happy with either. The garden soil is rockie and hard. The mulch had a car starter in it and pieces of glass. I will not be using them again

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. UNRELIABLE! This company was recommended to us by Cornhill Nurseries, but it was a mistake to go with the recommendation Absolutely unreliable, no respect to customers time and needs. We scheduled the gravel loads delivery a week before delivery date. On the delivery date we called and confirmed the time. But at the end it was NO SHOW. When called again to find out their answer was "they couldn't get a hold of their truck driver". As if this company one truck and one truck driver. RIDICULOUS. Do not depend on this supplier.

Literally Everytime I purchase a discounted item the cashier neglects to ring it in at the discounted price, this happened today for the millionth time (I never think to check if the cashier rang the item in right) so I called to discuss what happened, spoke with Stephanie in the cash office who didn't even offer to give me the money back I was owed. Total waste of my time!

I received 4 yards of compost from Audubon. These items were in it. Enough to fill a wheel Barrel. The owner was supposed to come by to see the compost and never showed up. I have tried numerous times to contact him by phone and email and he has not responded.

Decent prices in a semi consumer bag it yourself landscaping place.
Customer service is relaxed, and a bit too casual.

Been dealing with Audubon satisfactorily for 4 years now without any issues.
However, Summer 19' has changed dramatically as a result of equipment failures and poor or absent supervisory management.
Garden Soil received was mostly clay with excessive gravel and debris.
Later revealed as a result of equipment failure
Loam is no longer available due to supplier difficulties.
Seafood Compost contains pea gravel and uncomposted material that would suggest product shipped to market too early.
