The staff are very friendly and will listen to things you say, They wash your hair if you need it done, The sometimes will Massage your hand, They tend to double check that you wanted the haircut that you showed them.

I've had many facials in my life but Melissa's was second to NONE! She customized the Aveda experience to exactly what I needed and my mind, body and spirit are rejuvenated. Do yourself a favour and RUN to see Melissa at Avalon.

I would NEVER recommend this salon to anyone. They don’t care if they do a good job or not, the manager isn’t a stylist and instead of fixing my hair she offered to give me my money back when I just wanted nice hair. There was O cares, O empathy and no apologies. I brought in a picture of what I wanted (also aveda color) and the result was yellow tones, not ashy or white as in the picture, not enough foils- I consulted two other master stylists and they agreed! Had an amazing time! All the staff are so friendly and the environment is so relaxing, also loved my haircut and curled! They also were accommodating me last minute. If you feel the need to have a pamper yourself day, highly recommend!

I had Stephanie as my hairdresser, she was very sweet and kind, she did an amazing job with dyeing my hair and stying it. I will definitely be visiting again!

Extremely disappointed in Avalon this time around. Usually one of the best places around- now has way higher prices and much lower quality. I had a pedicure which was $78 and I came home to see my heels were still so dry and nail polish outside of my toenails- which wouldn’t be so bad if I had paid $35, but for $78 quality has to be top notch. It looks like the bottom of my feet weren’t even done. It has made shopping around much easier when prices are so high and quality is so low.

The customer service at Avalon Uptown is fantastic. Jill was running a little late with her previous appointment so Angela offered me a complimentary hand massage for the inconvenience. Jill always does a great job with my eyebrows and I had no issue waiting after they treated me so well. Highly recommend Avalon Uptown!
