Best Western Plus Fredericton Hotel & Suites

Rooms are a bit dated. At least you now know why it's such a good deal. Having said that, it's clean and relatively decent.

We were served at the front desk by Emily, who was extremely nice and professional. The room was clean and the breakfast was good.

Shout out Aïla and Kenzi for such a great experience! My colleagues and I were very impressed by their great service:)

Great rooms for the price, excellent housekeeping, and fine enough location if you’re bringing your own car! The hot tub and pool were well maintained, and the free breakfast had great quality options! The hotel was also fairly accessible, and the staff were quite knowledgeable about accessibility needs:)

We had a wonderful and comfortable stay at the Best Western Plus hotel in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

Amazing.

I came into this hotel with no patience from a previous argument at another hotel just minutes before.

My mood immediately changed when we had the nicest welcome, the lobby smelled great and complementary coffee, and the staff was so nice. When I spoke to the person about what had just happened she went above and beyond to ensure our stay was going to be smooth - and it was.

Cute pool and hottub, towels were provided. Large room with a fireplace large and modern TV. Clean and the bed and pillows WERE SO COMFORTABLE.best sleep i got in years if I am being honest. Quiet (probably because we were in the 1000 wing), Great and tasty breakfast with many options.

Overall will 1000% come back.

Notre seule déception est le petit déjeuner: servis de 6h à 9h en pleines vacances de la construction. Nous sommes arrivés a 8h30 pour déjeuner en famille: longue file d’attente pour se servir, la salle à manger était pleine, donc nous avons dû manger dans la salle de conférence et nous n’avons pas pu nous resservir parce que la salle à manger (où étaient les déjeuners) a été barrée à 9h. Les gens qui avaient eu de la place dans la salle à manger pouvaient retourner chercher nourriture et café, mais pas ceux qui étaient à l’extérieur. Les heures de déjeuners devraient vraiment être rallongées les week-ends et pendant juillet et août!

Accueil très chaleureux! Et Kenzy à la réception est une perle! Excellent service à la clientèle! Chambre propre, sauf les tapis qui serait peut-être dus à être lavés (je m’étais mis à genou pour ramasser qqchose et en me relevant, j’avais les bas de jambes tous sales). Un gros merci à votre personnel!

I’d never, ever stay here ever again. If your in the Fredricton area, look elsewhere.

This is the worst managed hotel that I’ve ever stayed at in my life.

Les chambres sont très belles, pour ce qui est du déjeuner inclus, il y a toutes les installations pour un mini buffets mais rien n'est utilisé. Poêle à gouffres ne fonctionne pas et pas de café non plus. Ce qui nous est offert est très médiocre. Assez décevant.

Took nearly 3 hours to get my room, but was compensated with an upgrade and complimentary drinks

Our room wasn't available at 3 pm check in time. We were hot and tired and simply wanted to get in and clean up. It was a 34 C degree day. Couldn't get in until 5 pm. Room was fine. No housekeeping provided on 2nd day of stay and no clean towels provided. Pool is small and the water uncomfortably cold. I'd rate as fair for a BWPlus.

Good rooms, ample parking. Breakfast was good but a little crowded when hotel is at full capacity. Front desk staff was very welcoming and understanding which is nice after a long day driving. I would stay there again being in Fredericton

Fantastic rooms, staff was A1. Only complaint is the location; basically unwalkable, which is a huge downside given the trails and such all over Fredericton.

I was there for 14 days and the the carpet in the room smelled really bad, I thought maybe it is just one room but when I visited my friends room it was the same. The furniture is the room is very old like the closet door was hanging out and I couldn't close the door. It is nice to have a swimming pool and hot tub when it is kept clean, here the cleaning means adding crazy amount of chlorine to the pool which you can smell all the way to the lobby and front desk. If you still decide to select this hotel for your stay as you might have no other option make sure to confirm your Rewards earning preferences on theirs old school website because it can automatically change to the preference which gives you less points or rewards and there is nothing they can do. There are better options near this location like Hampton Inn (Highly Recommend) or Comfort Inn (Affordable Option). I or my company will never spend a single $ again at Best Western, It was our first and last visit. Thank You.

The rooms were quite clean but very dated. The worst part of the experience was the evening front desk. He was very rude and unprofessional during our entire stay.

My family and I were very impressed by the kind and friendly staff working at this very clean hotel. The free breakfast was amazing! Very well located! We'll certainly enjoy more stays in the future!

Staff were great but bed had to be very old. Sunk right down in it. Looked at mattress. Very old. Rooms too crowded for the size and it had a worn out feel. Gym was one of the better ones.

Well the hot tub was leaking onto the carpet which i figured for $250 per night the hot tub would be working in top condition

Excellent spot for a night's sleep. The breakfast was well organized and the room was clean and efficient.

Hotel staff for most part very accommodating. There are some services available if you have disabilities which I appreciated. The whirlpool room I was in was helpful at night after medical treatments and on the 1st floor. The hotel's location is close to a clinic I use and its close to the hospital. Free breakfast were adequate with lots of stuff.

Very nice hotel! We stayed on the ground floor and was really surprised that the rooms had real floor, like not carpet! It made it look really nice and clean! Breakfast was back to pre-covid style which was nice and the staff was very friendly. The housekeeper also left us a note for when we got there with a quote I'm french and English which I thought was very sweet and personalized and you could tell that she cared!

This hotel was really clean and the rooms were very big. It was able to hold my family of 5 without a problem. The beds and bathrooms were very clean. The breakfast was very good and I was opened for a very long time. The staff were very sweet and I had no problems with them whatsoever. The room was very cold but it also had a machine to change the temperature. It also has a washing machine which was very helpful and smart to have in a hotel. The staff were very sweet. Overall I would come back to this hotel in the future.

Les chambres pet friendly ne sont pas bien nettoyées. Plein de poils sur les tapis. Nous avons changé de chambre et elle, sans tapis cette fois mais des touffes de poils aussi. Dans le garde-robe il y avait un chat complet de poils. C’est notre première expérience avec ce type de chambre. Notre chien est hypoallergène, et nous n’avons pas l’habitude d’être dans les poils, très décevant. Pet friendly room me devrait pas être synonyme de sale et sinon, de laisser les chiens hypoallergène dans les chambres régulières.

Was okay. Have this rating because the hand sanitizer in the lobby was empty and the continental breakfast was very disorganized and there was no social distancing. I understand that New Brunswick doesn't have any safety procautions for Covid but there are tonnes of tourists from out of province that the staff shouldn't be exposed to.

Staff are nice & friendly, offered us charging cable when we was looking for our in the bag in the lobby. It just the wifi spike a bit.

Always a great time!
Staff are always welcoming and always accommodate our requests to the best of their ability. Very clean comfy rooms nice big furniture to relax in, and the beds are always comfortable. We love the breakfast and the pool area with hot tub.
Our first choice when traveling

We went for a weekend during March Break. Bed was uncomfortable, satellite went out for many hours. Could hear ever6from room above us. Got a call an hour before we left telling us we had not requested pool time during our stay. We were not informed that due to Covid they booked the pool in half hour sessions. If we got there within the hour we could check in early and swim then. The other time available was 6: 00 am the next morning. Would definitely NOT recommend.

Came here for march break, were told the room was gonna be ready at 3pm, got there at 5 after 3 and our rooms werent ready, they locked us out early the next day and our keycards wouldnt work, even housekeeping said "arent you checking out at 11am" NO, we set up for a later checkout, we went to the pool, terrible pool, was all murky lookin and not see through, before we we went to the pool, my brother left minecraft open to afk farm, when we got back, his phone was unlocked and had a bunch of tabs open, we all were at the pool, our keys didnt work anyways, the only explanation is someone who works here a.k. A house keeping. Dont go to this hotel

Staff is friendly and room was nice and clean, AC unit is super loud and rattling so had to turn that off. Pool time limited to 30 minute intervals with the Rona. Booked completely for first night before we arrived and had 1 slot left for the pool tomorrow which we grabbed. Can't comment on the pool cause we haven't been there.

We first arrived the lady was on the phone with her friend and we waited about ten minutes before we were serve. Due to covid I would have thought the room would have been cleaner. Carpet would need to be shampooed. Also for the price it would have been nice to have reception on the TV. Due to storm TV was not working. First at last visite to a best western. Not worth the money.

Turner at the front desk is absolutely the best! Super friendly, helpful and very personable. Ultra clean rooms and easy breakfast plan. Beds were very comfortable.

It is what you would expect from Best Western. Much nicer than Hampton Inn and Suites and the staff here are quite friendly.

Clean and plenty of parking. The bar area downstairs is nice as its not creating noise for the rooms.

McDonald's has better wifi then this hotel. Beds were mediocre at best and the spare blankets were extremely dirty. No pillows were provided for the sofa bed either. Will not and never will again stay at this hotel. Do not recommend at all.

Great hotel, new, clean and nice rooms. The breakfast is ok. Great service. The exercise room and pool are good.

After 17 hours on the road Colin was extremely helpful and more than understanding that we just needed to sleep. He was pleasant and very compassionate especially after a terrifying ordeal at our previous hotel where I was almost stuck with a dirty needle and told that I should have complained the night before.
I look forward to my next trip East so I can book in at this location again! Thanks best western!

Average Best Western. Breakfast is better than average, with good selection. Staff is very pleasant.

When you go to a hotel, especially one that charges $200 a night, you expect a few things: a clean room, a comfortable bed and, in the Summer, adequate AC, and in the Winter, adequate heating. Sadly, the AC in our room shut off about 2;30,3: 00 AM and, no matter what I did, would not start up. It seems as though it was programmed to do so. I’d be curious to find out if other patrons have experienced the same thing. Other than that, which is important when you are trying to get a good night’s sleep, everything was fine.

The staff were friendly, the beds were comfortable. Solid shower. The breakfast was not good at all. Cold (partially frozen on the bottom) eggs, tasteless bread, cold porridge, weak, watery juice. The waffle was okay. I truly believe extra effort on the breakfast would have made the decision experience better, especially for $200 per night.

Paid $170 + taxes for a luxury room with better amenities except, the cleaning staff missed removing a previous guests facecloth from the shower head. That's ok, it can be a tough job when you're really busy and the pressures on to finish. Left a tip anyway. Really good breakfast and excellent service.

This was one of our most comfortable stays! From the moment we checked in until check out we enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and professional and our room was spotless. We stayed in a room with a king bed and jacuzzi and everything was so comfortable. We had the complimentary breakfast in the morning which was also good. The dining room was larger than the others we'd been to so it was easy to find seating. We really enjoyed our stay!

I love staying at Best Western Plus in Fredericton. The staff is always nice. Service is excellent! Room are clean! Warm breakfast is always great! In the past, if I ever encountered any problem at all, I always found that they would go out of their way to make everything right! Whenever I go to Fredericton, I always chose Best Western Plus! I would highly recommend this place.

We stayed there for two nights. The first room we had was neat and clean but the bed was so uncomfortable- way to soft! We asked if there might be another firmer bed but the night manager said she thought they were all the same. I got maybe 2 hours of sleep and the next day asked if we could change rooms or at least let us try one of the other beds to see if it was as soft. She was great. A couple of rooms cleared out and she called us while we were out to let us know. We returned and ended up changing rooms. This bed was so much better! I got a much better sleep thanks to the desk staff. (We think the other bed was just broken down too much)

My experience with the breakfast was Terrible. The breakfast was cold. A number of customer were asking to get there food warmed by Kathy. When I saw this I decided to ask only to be yelled at by Kathy stating and huffing “ I cant warm up you food I can’t be responsible for making it to hot” I completely understand her frustration I just did not appreciate being yelled at. Other customer even made comments about her yelling at me. I felt embraced for both myself and her.

Overall the hotel was good but Room 416 had a VERY soft and saggy mattress. So soft my wife had a terrible sleep. We asked for and were given a new room (216) the next morning. It was better 8/10 but the mattress was still not as firm as I've come to expect from Best Western Plus. I've stayed in BWP hotels frequently on business and this is the first time I have been disappointed.

Room was large and clean. Okay decor. Breakfast mediocre. Had problems with keys, then room was freezing and we were unable to adjust heat. Front desk changed our room, but we had to go back and forth with luggage etc.so were quite inconvenienced. Not much of an apology, and certainly no compensation for our inconvenience. Staff are okay, but not great. Staff in breakfast room was not at all friendly.

Has free parking, a pool, business room, meeting rooms, lounge and canteen. Close to highway and amenities. Not the best soundproofing or WiFi. Some of the furniture is warn out and floors creek.

Breakfast was delicious with alot of choices. We were able to get service in both official languages.french and english. Comfortable bed and nice room.

Back entrance key card lock doesn't work. The employees confirm this and say they've been having problems with that door for a long time. Otherwise, a very clean, comfortable place to stay with friendly, professional employees and a delicious breakfast.

Clean, modern hotel with friendly staff. Comfortable beds.lots of good pillows and lots of hot water to shower regardless of time of day. Could use microwaves in the rooms. Liked the makeup remover cloths!
