I've visited this store on several occasions as it happens to be the most convenient bike store for me to go to however each time i go i wanna go just a little less than last time. I asked for a new set of cables for my brake lines on a bike and they quoted me 20$ so i said okay ill do that and we go to the counter and are talking and he is asking for my info to create account and than as i go to pay i notice the machine says 80$ instead of the 20$. I was confused as he clearly stated it was 20$ so i asked why its 4 times as much and they said its 20$ for 4 of them and i need 4. To me this just seemed like a scummy sales tactic to not say anything and give me a false sense of what i was buying until i already went through creating a account and talking to the cashier and just hope i wouldn't care for paying 4x what i thought i was. I've also had another case where i was looking at a part for my Norco bike and asked how much a part was which they quoted me at 400$ when the piece was just a part of the front headset of my bike which i was able to get on amazon for under 50$. My final visit was when i went in to ask about their e-bikes and see what they had.i was already pretty informed from asking around and looking online and found the sales person to be pretty demeaning in how they talked to me like i was a clueless customer. They were selling some no name e-bikes which i made a comment on how they were pricey for what they are and the sales person got slightly aggressive saying if i didn't buy THEIR bike that it was going to blow up my house and im going to cause a fire and kill my family. I get what he was trying to say as i know some e bike battery are dangerous when you buy them online from random stores however i informed him i already know about these issues and wouldn't be buying anything from a none established safe store. I just found this behaviour incredibly unwelcoming and think he could have informed me to be aware of the dangerous of buying battery online in a way that wasn't aggressively telling me im personally going to kill my family with it. I imagine they may get some commissions on the sales they do and I left with the feeling that he was personally upset with me for not buying the 3000$ bike and was trying to use scare tactics into making me buy from them instead of visiting another bike shop in the city or purchasing from respectable brands online. I would suggest other bike stores for bushiness as i tried another one not far from here and had a wonderful experience with them and will continue to give them my business from now on out instead.
