Bistro Le Chat Bleu

I have looked forward to dining here since I saw the restaurant on 'Land and Sea'. It did not disappoint! The food was presented artfully, and the mix of flavours and textures in the salad were wonderful. The salmon cakes were nice and crispy on the outside. I will return as will my guests. Make reservations.

We stumbled onto this place almost by accident driving from PEI to Halifax. I said I was hungry, my wife said this place was coming up, we drove down a few obscure roads, and there it was. For being kind of in the middle of nowhere, it was full, and the reason I'm sure is the food. This was one of the best meals of our entire vacation, and at a price lower than just about anywhere else we ate. Delicious seafood pasta, and pork chop. And the strawberry/rhubarb pie was fantastic as well, with a crust completely unlike anything you'll normally see in a restaurant pie, very light and buttery and flaky. Only open Thursday to Sunday. A reservation might be useful although we didn't have one.

A super nice little gem. Almost invisible from the outside. We, 2 people, came without a reservation and they did their best to give us a seat (4 PM). So it's best to reserve in advance. The service was great and very friendly. And the food deserves at least 3 stars extra. Great, always happy. Thanks to the great team

Such a cute, charming spot. The food is delicious, and the service is exceptional. We have had nothing but amazing experiences anytime we have visited.

Such a beautiful atmosphere and the food was amazing! I got the tomato basil soup and the patata bravas and they were both so delicious. I’m from Ontario and wish we had a place like this in my city!

We had a lovely lunch - shared the cold platter as appies and the mushroom / walnut pâté was unbelievable! The seafood pasta and the pork bowl were also quite excellent. A wonderful experience; well worth the detour!

What a very pretty decorated bistro! We were agreeably surprised! Well prepared dishes such as the seafood spaghetti, pork cutlet dish and karaage chicken!

Cute place with a home-like feel. Even a cat walking around! Service and food were decent.

A must go if your traveling this route for sure so stop on in and I am sure sooooo many other things on this menu is tasty.

Beautiful ambiance and an interesting looking menu but unfortunately the food fell a bit flat. The dishes I tried resembled something I could have made myself - perhaps preferable to some (i.e. Like a "home cooked" meal) but it didn't match the relatively high prices for the portion sizes.
