Canadian Tire is a store I shop at weekly, has many day to day household needs and fair prices. However the MasterCard sales people have got to go!

I come from the city and there is just so much more in there stores compared to sussex. Lots I cant seem to find here. But that's with all stores here.brought car into mechanic shop for first time and definitely the last. Made stuff right but wowwww.just to much to write.

IF you are a dark skin, do not apply to work in the store as the manager and the owners are very racist and you will be treated differently they literally made me Cry everyday until I got depressed and decided not to come back again.

I come here way too much haha so now I order online so I go to the store less but now I spend too much lol

This is the worst Canadian tire I have ever been to. I had an item I received and would like to return and repurchase it to get points, and the owner would not allow (said to wait a day, and then I wouldn’t get points as their sales are only ever one day). Nor does this company adhere to indigenous status point of sale tax exemption.
Mike informed me it’s because they are INDEPENDENTLY OWNED, summarizing he’s able to make his own rules.

Look out Kent, you’ll be getting my service from here in out!

I brought my truck in at March Break last year and bought tires from this company. The tires started were put on the wrong way with white letters out which was never asked but minor but was glad I was there watching to stop them. It took two and a half hours. They were supposed to take the spare off and use the better tire to put on as a spare but got it stuck hanging from hoist - they did this while it was in the air on the four post hydraulic lift which does not make a lot of sense and should have been attempted while on the ground. They told me that they could cut off the cable to the spare to remove the tire which there was nothing wrong with the mechanism when I returned home. They would charge me for a new hoist for almost $300.00 which I refused. The worst part was when I went out to my vehicle to go home after paying Canadian Tire, the passenger seat was almost touching the dash. It was broken but no one told me and I could not figure out why it was like this (assuming they used the jack behind the seat). I found out that the mechanic who was working on my truck that it was his last day and that "is probably why I found it this way" which was implied incompetance. It meant that I had to make another trip where they were very rude about what they would fix or not. I will never get any work done at Canadian Tire again as I do not trust them.

Horrible service, doesn't have certain products even though the website says there lots in stock.will take the extra bit of time to go to Moncton in the future and will not be going back to the Sussex store

Real shame, real waste of time. Incompetent & no follow up service when they say they'll call you back. Lousy customer call backs and not expert mechanics. Have to take our vehicle elsewhere after 2 days wasted.

The General Manager Mike was rude and snide, clearly on some sort of power trip. Shows a complete lack of respect towards women. As if women don't belong in his Canadian Tire. Plus he had a very bad body odor poorly covered up by too much axe body spray.

We have just bought a woods 6 person tent for our trip to nova scotia with cots couldn't be more happy with the product

Very friendly service when I needed parts to fix my broken pressure tank assembly for my well. I spend around $700. At the checkout I asked for a bag for small fittings: that's 15 cents I was told. Any idea what happened to common sense? The same pressure tank was $50 less at another source. The 15 cents were needed?

The general manager Mike is a tool. He judged us from the moment we approached guest services. He was rude to my wife and then I politely asked for an explanation and he literally shook like a scared animal and called the police. What a joke. I will be in contact with the owner Iman Toddy.

When I go in here it's not usually to buy anything is usually take my dog into get her cooled off when it's hot out

This store was the only store that sold Starbrite which is a mold/ mildew remover that the internet said was the best ti remove mildew from tend ends. It worked the best so I wasn't disappointed

Canadian Tire Sussex has a very helpful staff. Definitely an improvement from the "old days" when CTC wanted customers to wander aimlessly through the store, looking for help.hoping they'd buy impulse purchases.

You get followed around this store like you are a thief it makes me feel like im doing something wrong when igo into canadian tire in sussex. Thats twice now that ive been followed arouned by staff and the staff didnt even ask if he can help me finding anything?

Stopped by today for an oil change. The lady at the auto service desk (Garrett said the name tag) was super polite and got me in right away. Andy the technician was very friendly and very helpful. Im from out of provice but i highly recommend this Canadian tire for service in the sussex region. Thanks again Andy and Garrett I am extremely pleased.

Well organized and great staff, manage to find everything I need and have a laugh along the way.

Auto service went above beyond to help me getting my car back on route to Moncton they even stayed the shop open after hours and even getting parts from Napa from family connections even if Napa was closed.great service 110% recommended

Lovely service every time from the knowledgeable staff. They are very helpful in figuring out what is needed and guiding you to the necessary aisle. But even if you don't like talking to people, their online store is conclusive and stunned up with the stock with any of their stores across Canada. Their is also a Mark's is in back with reliable and well priced clothing and shoes.

Arrived at 12 noon to service garage, simple request for 2 tubes in lawn tractor rear tires.
Found correct tubes on store shelf. Was told they would begin working on them at 2pm. 5 bays one vehicle in garage cooked in parking lot until 2 when they installed them. Paid $85 and left for the 20 min drive to Lower Millstream. Got to camp and one was flat. Called ahead and went back. An hour and a half later I had my tire back.
All the way back to lower Millstream and put it on the axle started leaking out was flat in less than a minute. Called back and demanded my money back. Got a call back asking me to bring the flat back tomorrow and they will fix it.
Thats 3 trips back and forth a half tank of gas they better have a nice gift card for me tomorrow.

I have never had a good experience in this store. The first time I went to ask about paint colours, the woman working was incredibly rude. Today I paid at the front before going to marks.on my way back out an employee chased me down and grabbed onto my sons stroller to stop me. She demanded to see my receipt. I felt it was incredibly rude and i felt violated. She then was going to look at every individual item as if it wouldn't match what was in my bag. I'm disgusted that She would grab my personal belongings. I will not come back. I will go to home hardware in the future. Edit: if it's store policy, you should really think about training your staff to not grab onto people as they leave and consider changing the policy period. I've worked retail years and we were trained at how potentially dangerous stopping people like that could be. Not to mention most establishments do not stop people when they are exiting the store to demand proof of purchase. If you suspect theft, you contact the proper authorities. Im even more horrified to learn that you are asking your staff to treat your customers this way.

Not a good place to work at all, staff is very racist and not supportive including managers. Worse experience

I was able to get what I was looking for, but the staff were not friendly and you could tell that they were just doing a job and wanted to get you out as quickly as possible

Returned a weighted blanket that I got my grandson for Christmas because the beads were coming out. Had my receipt and they exchanged it no problem. Customer service there is fantastic.

Very disappointed with the day manager's (Brian) response to the staff's inability to supply the correct oil filter and lack of response to valid complaint.

Perfect place for all you home and auto needs well stocked and staff are very friendly and helpful

Freindly service but put there merchandise in the isle and having to move there stuff to get what i wanted even called and told them and it went on def ears Sussex Newbrunswick store

Just try to get some help to hoist a 50 lb something into a cart. At 5'2 I have to do the clean and jerk thing. Love lifting 50 lbs of litter into those huge carts.

Great place to shop always fantastic sales and the week day employees are always eager to help. But Some of the weekend younger staff aren't so eager to help. But not all.

I was in the area helping flood clean up and went to this store to buy some extra tools and was ask 3 times by different friendly staff if I needed help find something which is COMPLETELY opposite from a Nova Scotia canadien tire

A great store to get most of the things you need for cleaning and organizing your home and car. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Much to my surprise Cdn Tire Sussex requires an RPAL Firearms Licence to purchase 9mm ammunition. In todays world with many long guns using isol ammo and no legislative requirement for an RPAL just a PAL (FIREARMS LICENCE)

The online pick up was easy and quick. Customer Service friendly and efficient. Would recommend this store for online purchases.
