It could have been better, not their fault, I guess, but there no backup generator to keep the store up and going two days before Xmas.

This particular store on the west side is always hit and miss. It always manages to be different than other CT stores around the city. If you want to just go look or check out some items you might want to pack a lunch, you could be awhile. Once you enter the store you are automatically a criminal and the staff is not prejudice. Secondly if you want to leave the store because they don't have what you're looking for, you can't get out without going through a corn maze set up full of junk food and trinkets, I can't wait for Christmas should make things interesting! Good luck if you stop by, hopefully when it's not too busy.

If you want anything, don't order for pick-up. They favor in-store customers (which isn't terrible) ; which means if you need something specific you can't order ahead to make sure it's there. Basically turns the whole prospect into a joke.

So long story short, check the website if you plan on going immediately. Otherwise it's pointless.

Would give less starsi f option was available to everyone working in automotive except for the sweet girl Kenzie.

First shop in Canada so far, where I needed to show my backpack to be looked through. I thought this practice were left in past, even in less developed countries.
I was looking for heat fans, hopefully found it, but its "sale" price was bigger than a regular one. At least the sale sticker was attached to the previous one, which had lowe price.
Some prices were good, some not.
Goods distribution was a bit weird for me. I was also looking to vacuums, and they were located on several different sides of the shop.
Overall, I do not want to visit this shop any more.

I Go to Canadian Tire as often as I can to get what I can. Lately I pick up my lg bag of cat food and also greeting cards, $2.00 each and nice. I get all my cleaning supplies, garbage bags
my small appliances. Pretty much all my soil and gardening needs and plants. I can bring my dog, Jack with me and that is such a treat for him, when I open the car door in the parking lot, he hops out and runs for the door. The staff is knowledable and always helpful and very friendly with the pup Jack. It's an enjoyable shopping experience

Friendly staff, well stocked shelves, and a good selection. Specifically I like to go here to find footwear for work; they have a great selection of work boots at this location.

Ordered new tires online. On sale good price what more could you ask for. BUT when I went in to see tires in person and make appointment for installation I queried whether or not they were heavy enough for my 3/4 ton HD Chev Express. Made appointment to have them installed later this day and before I come back they called me and told me the tires were not suitable for my van. Thanks to their knowledge of tires and my concern they suggested another tire which was also on sale. Now I have proper LT tires ony van and I am very happy. I would like to point out that the store I shop at is located at 885 Fairville Blvd, Saint John, NB E2M 5T9

Not very helpful today didn't have a price on product cashier call for price check and got no response ended up doing it myself.

It was busy, at cash so extra staff jumped on to help clean up the lineup. They were super friendly. My only criticism was that one of the cashiers was on whatever system they have for communicating with a coworker, and the whole conversation was coming over the PA system. It was I found a little annoying

Couldn’t find what I was looking for even looking online at what isle it was in. Asked someone for help and she legitimately sighed and said “just a quick question? ” I asked where I could find the bigger bottles of spray nine are and she said “in automotive somewhere” she had a different name badge than everyone else so maybe a manager/supervisor…

This store is too small for all of the product. It's always so cluttered you can't find much of anything. The East side location is a bit better, but all Canadian Tire stores seem to be too small for all the great things they want to sell you. I usually order online and then do curbside pick up just so that I can find what I need.

Terrible customer service. Bought a piece of junk Mastercraft pole sander that broke within an hour of use. Took it back for refund (it was $15!) - manager would not refund OR provide store credit. Said it was used & they could only replace it with the same piece of junk. I left the broken sander on the counter & walked out. Go to Kent, folks - go to Home Hardware - RUN!

The staff was extremely helpful and helped us find things that were not in the aisle but were stocked in the back.

They have taken good safety precaution for covid

Needed some wire cut and 2 of us walked around the store looking for someone. Only staff was at the cashes and one guy at the front end in the aisle. I asked him and he told me someone should be down there. The guy at the cash told my partner that he had noone that could come cut it for us. A big company like Canadian Tire should he able to afford enough staff to help their customers.

Wow! That is all I really have to say. Dawn in sporting goods went above and beyond for me. She is very friendly and such a nice person. She made my purchases a no brainer. Because of that one person I can honestly say I’ll be going to this store for my hunting and firearm needs before I check with any other ones! Well done!

Last week I ordered a 2010 Venza tire (only one tire) and they said it's $139 but they didn't have that in store in that day. I ordered and they said we will call you in 3 to 4 days. As you may know them, they never called me and after 6 days I called them back and they said yes it's available now! I told that I need a receipt for my insurance company (because the tire was damaged in a hit and run accident). The funny part was the moment that they issued a receipt of $229 (before tax). When I said that it should be $139, they said that the best price that they can offer $169 (not $139). With no apology or excuse! They assumed that as my insurance company will pay for that, I am not going to care about the price!

The interesting part is that they did not check the air pressure of the other 3 tiers to balance them with the new one which they had already changed! Unbelievable.

Ordered a tree online (showed available) order was canceled took almost a week for refund. Ordered again (still showed available) was given wrong item. (Two 4 foot trees when I ordered one 6 foot) ordered refunded then original tree unavailable. Their solution was to offer me a tree for $99. I explained I couldn't afford $99 for a tree hence why I ordered one for $39.99 and never received a response. Everyone was apologetic but I'm left without a tree for my children still.

I was treated with total disrespect by a store manager when trying to claim a rain check. Will not shop there for awhile

I went to paint dept.looking for something to patch metal and even though they didn't have what I wanted the young man went with me to automotive and helped me find something that would work. I really appreciated it. He was so helpful!

Everything is detailed in the online flyer. It even tells us in which aisle I will find the item I am looking for.no time is waisted in the store looking for something especially during this Covid drama.

Overall a good experience. However the degreaser that I was looking for wasn't in the same spot as the other car cleaners.

Be present if your in the garage for servicing, or they will do work not asked or required.
They tried it on me 578.75 for a fuel pump they said could go anytime.
I wasn't there for the first time, been going there for 6 years. BE PRESENT!

I really think Canadian Tire needs a makeover all stores in general aisles are way too tight and cluttered it's not cart friendly I usually just go in to buy a specific item and leave displays should be put up overnight I work in retail and see it you have to go in daytime to get help
