Big clean store. Staff make eye contact with you. Friendly and helpful. Great selection of goods as well as a clearance isle I love. Huge parking lot, parking never an issue.

Super friendly staff. The store is very clean and tidy. Well organized!

It would be great for the repair shop to be open weekends, but I understand the reasoning behind it.

I had an appointment at 4pm to get my new tires installed that I was purchasing at Canadian tire. When I arrived I was told that the job would take 2 hrs because the tires are heavy (for a half ton truck). At 4: 20pm my truck was still sitting in the parking lot so I decided to just buy them and get them installed elsewhere, when I went to the parts counter I was told they had to get my tires out of the storage trailer which all should've been done before my appointment to avoid getting charged extra labor. I was also informed that to calibrate the TPMS it would be a charge of $70 each and TPMS is something that will calibrate itself after 30 minutes of driving so that extra charge is completely unnecessary.

I love it here, I come here so often it's like my new home. I love the smell of tires when I was in and the workers here are very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend coming here it's amazing

Their MVI was a money grab. Four weeks before my MVI I asked them to check my front brake pads while they had my tires off putting on summer tires - they said I had 30% left and was good for several months. Went in for my MVI a month later and they failed it because of my front brakes, a "quiet" horn, etc. Was leaving for NS the next day so had a follow-up inspection in NS and they told me my brakes were fine.

From house to car and a little of everything In between! Even groceries thats funny, but, yeah will always return!

All things come with a price and this place is no exceptions. At the very least, the staff is extremely helpful and assertive. They helped with my safety inspection and it cost me a grand to bring it up to standard. But nonetheless, I'm no mechanic so I am not sure if what I was gouged for money or not, but atleast they are transparent and friendly about it.

My car broke down on the way from ontario heading towards nova Scotia. Not only did I recieve great service but they tried their hardest to have my car ready to make the ferry and sure enough we made it. Thank you so much for the great work

Moved to 3 stars, last time I needed an inspection done on my truck, they said that the whole brake system was to be changed (pad, disk, caliper and hand brakes) estimated around 1500$ when all that ''needed'' to be done was the pads. Don't go there for your annual inspection. The store itself is clean and nice and they have good sale prices once in a while.

Worst possible shop to take a vehicle. They do more harm than good, just straight up incompetence.

There website is no good at all. Everytime I look for one type of lure, it comes up with everything that not for fishing

It was Canadian Tire. They have a lot to offer.product wise, from cheap, to Mastercraft to high end.
Smythe street location is a bit over loaded.it always feels messy at that location.

Me and my dog love going to Canadian tire. He sniffs everything and even gets a treat from the staff on the way out. But I have a plea to all pet owners. Remember when a business is pet friendly, not everyone there will love your pet just as you will so stop letting your dogs approach people that are clearly trying to stay well away. There are people out there scared of dogs, and I love being able to take mine in. So just be responsible

Excellent selection products and even better sales. Staff are always quite friendly and quite helpful, the automotive parts counter can usually get you next day parts at prices that are tough to beat. Going to the automotive service counter is alway a breeze as they will get you in quickly to make sure your service goes smoothly.

FAIRLY Quik bringing in a Wheel Bearing for my BMW. Best part is fact that they were half price of what 'The Competition' quoted me at for the exact same part From same manufacturer. I was pleasantly surprised.

Went in around 3: 30pm to exchange a battery that i had warranty on because my car wouldn't turn over. Gave the parts department a call to ask if they would exchange it for me they said they would but they needed to test the battery which i understood. The fella at the counter was very friendly and took my name and number to let me know when the test was done and explained it takes up to 2 hours. So around 4: 45 i gave them a call and no one answered and i was in freddy picking up the wife from work. So i have to wait till tomorrow to get my car battery and they never let me know that i wouldn't be able to get it after they closed. I understand they are busy but a bit of notice would have been nice. Over all the employees are friendly and helpful!

Great store, and a wide selection of items, from hardware, to toys to sporting good etc. Everyone working there is helpful and polite. Each spring it has a great garden center also. GreT prices too. Huge parking lots and close to main roads and other businesses

Thanks for the amazing shopping experience. This is a covid 19 friendly environment with a great layout that makes things easier to find. The Friendly and knowledgeable staff found the product I was looking for in a timely manner, continued to find me some of the other items I was looking for. The Cashier was extremely friendly. The gentleman that helped me find everything helped me load it into my car. Thank you so much from a man who can't stand shopping on a regular day much less a pandemic.

Not happy, waranty with tools very confusing, and misleading. Bought a drill with 5 year waranty. Used for a couple hours and it died. Gave me a new replacement but was told the replacement has zero waranty. (Because I couldnt find reciept) and that drill died in about 2 hours of use. What a joke.

Smaller Canadian Tire location for a smaller market but you can likely find anything you'd expect to find at a Canadian Tire location however, it does contain a neat hunting & fishing add-on to this Canadian Tire store. Full service garage and gardening center on site. Sobeys next door.

The woman working at the customer service desk on Sept. 22nd was fantastic! She was very understanding and accommodating, thanks for the great service!

These guys have a great return policy if needed however that being said I have not personally returned any items the quality is very high.

It was alright. Big and busy store but no customer service what so ever unless you ask them. They almost seem to avoid you.

Had Car services and got car back with check engine light on.
Took it in and the light was off, but when they gave it back it was on. I called to inquire about it and they said it would cost $85 for a diagnostic (which should have been done before I got car back IMO) They should have offered to set appointment to have diagnostic done for free since the light only came on AFTER they had their hands on it.

I also sat in waiting area for almost two hours only to be told it would be an extra half hour and they it wouldn't be done till next day. Called a taxi $20 there and another $20 to get back to pick up next day because I guess they didn't wanna put in the extra 30 minutes while I was there already waiting for two hours?

There is no option to contact you directly except 5 options that sell me on different features of the Store. Try again, because this number failed to help me update you further.

Purchased a rifle October 16th. Learned that Bass Pro had the same product (normal price) $200 less. Contacted a Manager October 17th and was told they would not price match as it was outside their "shopping" area. Not only is this bad business practice publishing Price Guarantees and not honouring them, but being brushed off is equally as bad as making the customer feel ripped off. To add insult to injury, this was the display model and been handled by who knows how many people - so it truly wasn't "new". One would think that given the above, there would be something they would do to keep a customer. Unfortunate, but that was the last dollar I spend at this location.

If the world could only be more like CT. Great products. Good prices. When the staff cares, this place can't be beat.

Well don’t bother making an appointment here. They don’t honour them at all. I just waited for an entire hour for them to tell me my tires were not safe to put on. So why did I just wait for an hour past my appointment time? VW which is the make of my car said when they took the tires off they had one more year. What a total joke this garage is. Don’t come here unless you want your time completely waisted and to be treated very very poorly. I’m pretty sure they were just trying to take advantage of a young girl to make her buy tires from them. Negative stars.
