Great little place to stop. I highly recommend stoping here to take a break and stretch your legs. Nice walking trails. The exhibits are great too!

A nice spot to click some photos of the Confederation bridge and there is a trail to the nearby light house. Parking available on the spot. I believe parking is paid but when I visited there was no one at the booth.

La visite du centre d'interprétation est très intéressante. On aurait pu y passer des heures! Les sentiers, la boutique, le comptoir lunch, on a beaucoup apprécié tous les services offerts.

And of course.the famous lighthouse with a special person in the lighthouse to answer your questions.

Interesting experience. Enjoy nature, the museum, the beach, the lighthouse, a little bit of history, the gift store, the indoor interactive walk, short walks around the island, and especially the views. Staff are so welcome. You can park outside the facilities or pay a small fee to have access to the parking lot center. Hope you don't miss this experience.

We didn't finish the trails due to the mosquitoes. However, the scenes already made our trip complete. 5 dollars to park and unlock all the access to the park.

Awesome stop before going into PEI.
A great 1 hour walk through the park. Grab a coffee or an icecream while you are there and take beautiful photography outside.

View of the Confederation Bridge was spectacular and it was sunset time which has a magnificent effects

I didn't go into the interpretive centre, but it seems like an educationally centered place, so I imagine it would be informative.

Must stop on the trip over to pei. Enjoy the hiking trails if you have time but at the very least get some of the best pictures of the bride anywhere

A little over-rated here, as I ran into some really annoying things there: mosquitos, lots of them even in the middle of the the day, making it unbearable. Can be related to the season or time, as we arrived there at 2: 00PM on Aug 12: it is really hot day there! Or it can be environment-related. Also, due to pandemic, they didn't open the visitor center but only have a mobile toilet in service.
The views are, indeed, really impressive though.

This is always a great place to visit. There are very nice walking trails, including the beach with extraordinary views of the Confederation Bridge. During Covid-19, some of their facilities are closed, such as the restaurant and interpretive center.

It's a great spot to get photos of the bridge but TOO MANY MOSQUITOES!

Beautiful view but mosquitos are out of control you can't stand still for even 10 seconds.please consider mosquito control in the future

Beautiful park and trails. Easy hikes with beautiful views of the Confederation bridge and the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Hikes are mostly beginner and family friendly!

The best trail was closed when I went but overall pretty nice. Not much to do due to covid but its decent spot

You couldnt access anything. I know things have changed due to Covid, but there could have at least been signage along the way to notify us

Trails are open but the information center is closed. The porta potties are available but a 5 min walk from the parking.

It used to be an annual stop each year before crossing confederation bridge for photos and small walks, but then they started charging for parking and toilet use last year, so no.

Views of the Confederation bridge were superb. The history behind the windmill is quite interesting. We never stayed long so never got the full experience. The only complaint is about mosquitos! We were bitten continuously - make sure you have insect repellent.

Beautiful trails, the closest you can get to the Confederation Bridge without getting on it! Walked to the lighthouse and got to the top of a Viewing Tower, what and incredible view!

Informative was able to talk with a caretaker for the center he explained the composting toilets and other interesting facts that you normally would not get to hear about in the rush of tourism

Nice place to visit. Big cat on display, stuffed, in a glass case, very large Cougar, just beautiful. Normal wares for the gift shop with a nice little beanery to eat at if you're interested. Lighthouse within walking distance, and a tall lookout tower for photography. Museum artifacts also.

Great view of confederation bridge. It's a non profit but they charge 5 dollars for parking. Nice beach to stroll along for views of PEI and the bridge, great interactive centre inside.

Best view of the confederation bridge from the lookout, can get real close when you walk along the beach too.

Trails are in great condition, staff are welcoming and friendly, great views of the bridge, interpretive panels are informative.

It was closed when we stopped but still enjoyed the view of the bridge and wildlife. They have paths to the viewing area.

5 dollar parking was a surprise but you will have a great time here. Lots of parking and great views.

We hadn't been here in 4 years and wow what a pleasant surprise with everything that's there now. Fantastic views, great information about the wildlife and some historic information as well. Great spot to stop before passing over the bridge, have a stretch and learn a few things.

$5 just to park? I can see charging for access to the park, lighthouse or hiking trails, we would have paid for that had we known what was there, but simply to park? Forget it. We stopped after the bridge wanting to stretch our legs and see what the place had to offer because we did not know, but as we couldn't even enter the parking lot without a money grab, we drove off. Maybe the tours might have been interesting, but it was very off-putting. The up-front greed simply invited us to turn the car around and leave. Our road trip $$$ went to places that allowed us to get in the door and make a more informed decision on what we wanted to spend money on.

Has a good observation deck. Leads to a trail and a beach. Get your bug repellent if you choose to visit the beach or trail.
Last year (2018) it was free entry. This year they charged 5$ parking fee. They have started a bird museum here too.

More of a light walk loop than a hike. Worth it for the lighthouse and bridge view.nature Centre was exceptional. Loved learning about the birds and history of the area. Unreal sunsets in this area

Beau centre d’interprétation très bien tenu, offrant des sentiers pédestres variés et une vue magnifique du pont de la Confédération. Une halte repos qui vaut la peine d’être vue.

Conservation and nature, can't beat it. Even the bathroom is ecofriendly. Rain water is collected and used for most things. Permaculture with a twist. It does cost $5 currently to park and visit plus many bins are situated around th property for donations. They use donations to keep the place running and available to tourists. Well worth it.
Stunning views and good information about the marshlands and tidelands. A bit too much over growth around the paths contributing to quite a few mosquitos.
