Fish and chips. Fish was tasteless. Food was too slow coming. Waitress was awesome though. Too loud had to talk loud over the music.

Really love this place, the food is great and the service is amazing! You have to have the fries.or salad, or burgers or the cheese dip.shall I go on?

We went for brunch and I took the chicken egg Benedict and it was amazing. Loved the atmosphere!

Fun times and noisy atmosphere. Food was excellent. Loved the shepherds pie and Irish burger. Fish and chips were delicious. Be sure to save room for peanut butter pie! Thanks for being a great server Shannon.

Terrible service. Waited 15 minutes for the drink we ordered. My partner ordered wings which he said were good. Also ordered the beer and cheese dip. Worst dip I've ever had! Tiny container. Completely tasteless. Even cracked pepper might have helped. No ceiling fans. Stagnant air. Poor overall experience.

Good spot with good beer and good food; what more could a person ask for! Nice outdoor patio area in the summer months. When I visited there was a minor issue with the food item (s) delivered to our table and it was handled appropriately and efficiently by management and that was appreciated.

My fish tacos were terrific but my husband's Reuben was not as he would've expected. There was very little sauerkraut or Swiss cheese. Usually Ruebens are not served with tomatoes, lettuce and pickles. The waiter was excellent. The beer was very good.

Ordered takeout, it was ready in less than a half hour, everything was hot and delicious! Nachos were definitely a standout!

Overall, good experience. My husband loved his salmon and beer. I got the maple bacon and pulled pork sandwich. I thought it could use more flavour. The French fries were good though.

This experience goes to show you the difference proper staffing makes.

Morgan was not in over her head and we experienced very timely service all evening.

Meal breakdown:

Deep fried pickles - really nice chip size, coated well, and fried GBD.

Deep fried chicken bites - beautifully battered and fried brilliantly.

Reuben - all the great flavours you expect from a Reuben, and crafted very well with tight sandwich construction — can’t stand messy sandwiches.

Irish poutine - bring your stretchy pants for this one. What a delightfully rich dish. If a poutine and the best Shepard’s you’ve ever had made a baby, this would be it.

This is one of my go-to spots in Uptown Saint John! Their burgers rarely disappoint and I’m a big fan of their varied, tasty brunch menu.

On my last visit, I went for the chicken and waffles. The waffles were regular ol’ yummy waffles, but the chicken was INSANELY good.

First time there and had a great server who was really busy but looked after us well! Cod fish & chips were absolutely delicious and their English bitter on tap was very satisfying!

We went for lunch today and really enjoyed it. The staff were friendly, the food was fast and most important, it was delicious!

Definitely would recommend if you are coming into Saint john.

My daughter and I decided to try out this local favorite while we were passing through, what a great decision it was.

I had the 8oz sirloin it was cooked to perfection and garnished with delicious fresh vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes. Salt and pepper is all you need on a good steak and these guys hit the nail on the head

My daughter had the beer battered fish and chips, for a small girl she cleaned her plate and asked for seconds.

We will absolutely be eating here again. I love to see a small business get it right.

Went for flights and bites, and the food was so awesome! The mac and cheese bites were nostalgically delicious lol the chicken bites were even better! All the drinks were amazing too! Highly recommend!

We had the LC burger and Irish poutine (battered cheese curds…how can you go wrong? !) and they were both fabulous! Carly was our waitress and she was really friendly, fast and attentive. She was helpful and even helped me pick out a beer/cider. I am a big fan of poutine and I think this is my new favourite

Went with my 11yr old grandson and he had kids burger and chips and i had the fish with fries and for dessert we split the cheesecake. Everything was fantastic including the server.

One of the few places in Uptown Saint John to have breakfast and it is AWESOME. The service is great and the patio very comfortable

Excellent food and awesome atmosphere! Will defiantly be back. Absolutely the best wings I have had in years and the beer battered fish was stellar. Also tried the Guinness cheese dip and it blew my mind! My Wife Loved the fish tacos.

We can't thank Sean and his staff enough for catering our wedding, everyone went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and the food and beer they brought was exceptional! Highly recommend visiting either location in Saint John or Quispamsis, you won't be disappointed!

First time going there experience was excellent. Our waitress was soo great and friendly. Got the fish taco and ceaser salad. Soo good.

We have been traveling for 12 days and this is by far the best meal we have had. We ordered a beer and a caesar (made with whiskey and guiness) chicken bites with buffalo caesar sauce, fish tacos, fish and chips and Baileys coffee cake. Everything was so flavorful and delicious, right down to the gravy and coleslaw. Would recommend to anyone. Our server was also fantastic.

This has always been a go to for me, amazing food, fantastic staff and overall great atmosphere, and last night they managed to impress me even further! The bartender at the uptown location is out of this world, I had the best martini in my life last night, and I am very picky about my martinis! Watching him make it was almost as satisfying as drinking it! I can honestly say this place is top notch across the board!

The quality and creativity of the pub food has risen to the level of its price. This has become a mainstay lunch spot for my partner and I!

Cask and Kettle is my favorite place to grab a beer & a bite. High quality pub food that never disappoints. The Irish L. C Burger and their seasonal cheesecake is a drool worthy combo.

Atmosphere very nice. Our server was great. The food however was terrible. Everything was way beyond too salty and very greasy. Had to send back nachos as they were made with potato chips instead. The food was less than average. I was excited for fish tacos but underwhelming.

Great burgers and awesome ambiance! We had a ball on a cold Thursday night, there was a group of excellent live musicians that just warmed our hearts. The Parmesan & Rosemary fries are awesome and the beer selection is great. No other joint was that lively around!

We've been a few times now, it's dinnertime our favourite so far. Lovely atmosphere and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

4 of us had a much needed evening out. I would suggest making reservations, it's a very busy spot.
The service was excellent and the food was delicious. I had the cod and chips. The chips have rosemary and parmesan, the cole slaw had a zing to it. The dill tartar sauce was the perfect complement to the beer battered fish.

The waitress, sorry I didn't get her name, long dirty blonde hair was fantastic. We ordered the wings and weren't aware of what blue cheese tastes like. In our opinion, not good but the wings were excellent, the deep fried pickles were as well. Definitely going to eat there again as the variety of local and domestic beer were a great selection as well.

Friendly & informative staff. Great Craft beer selection on tap. Food is tasty and very consistent. Portion sizes vs value is A+.
My favorites are the LC burger, the Irish poutine (Sheppard's pie poutine) and their wings, boneless or regular they are always amazing.
