With so many dodgy and overpriced movers out there, these guys were great. Very professional and very well-priced.

I was very happy with our move from Toronto to Victoria. Our belongings were well protected and the communication was clear. The movers on both ends were very helpful, quick, and easy to deal with. Payment and inventory of items was professionally done. I would recommend Centennial whole heartedly.

In summary, Centennial Moving made my full house move from BC to ON a remarkably smooth and stress-free experience. Their commitment to customer satisfaction, combined with their expertise in handling long-distance moves, left me thoroughly impressed. I wholeheartedly recommend Centennial Moving to anyone planning a long-distance move. Thank you, Centennial Moving, for your outstanding service and for taking such excellent care of my cherished possessions during the journey across provinces!

We recently had a long-distance move from Halifax to St. John's. The team at Centennial were very responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. I was also relieved that all of our items arrived in good shape and there was no damage. I would certainly rebook them again for a long distance move.

Centennial Movers were excellent throughout my daughters move from Toronto to Alberta. We were very stressed about choosing a moving company as you hear so many horror stories! The team we had at Centennial: Kate, Eric, Roman and Brian along with others where we didn't catch names, were amazing. Thank you!
22 August 2023 3:48
Amazing and professional people at Centennial! From Stan and Jacob (long distance coordinators) to the movers who handled my property with care to the dispatch team.
Great rates, very responsive and made my move easy and seamless from Ottawa to Calgary within 3 weeks!
Definitely recommend!

Thomas, Sergio and Yama are a great crew. Make sure you are accurate on how much stuff you have. We had to re book a date but it got done and our pack up was fantastic! The crew we had are an asset to Centennial. Now we wait on delivery later this month. Great team.

This was my second move with Centennial, both from Toronto area to Vancouver. The first move started off extremely well - great office support, capable movers on site - but was a bit challenging on the delivery end of things with several items lost for a few weeks after the initial arrival. All was finally found and everything arrived in good condition. The second move was comparatively flawless - again great office support and terrific guys on both ends of the move. We were very happy with the move and felt the price we paid was reasonable. I recommend Centennial Moving and would use them again.

Had a bad experience handling my things.has lost item and they only paying a little amount and not even caught the one took it.never again

Absolutely amazing moving company! Everyone worked together to make sure my move was as seamless as possible. I'm very impressed by Jacob's professionalism and etiquette! He did everything to make my moving possible, taking in account my special needs. Eric is also very professional and courteous. They were both communicative, worked quickly, and very friendly. Delivery driver and helper are exceptional persons, friendly and polite. They delivery on time and took great care of my belongings. I would definitely recommend Centennial Moving!

I got the best rate with excellent service by Dave bronski. Thank you Dave for your consistent follow up. Must recommend Dave bronski

Aron was helpful & delivery men were very professional. Furniture packed and carried carefully. Very good service at a reasonable price. Will definitely call them in my future long moves.

I moved from Saskatoon, SK to Ottawa, ON and they were very professional and reasonably priced. Everything arrived within the time frame they established on the quote and nothing was damaged. They were very careful with our stuff and everything was labelled. I highly recommend them! Thank you so much Centennial moving!

Agent Jacob was actually very helpful and professional. Movers, though, were not the same. Allegedly, they could not find parking, even though the back of our building has a designated spot, and no we can't reserve the city's streets for them. And then they simply left, without even trying any more, after we had taken time off work to facilitate the move. And initially they were going to keep our security deposit (their movers canceled the move, not us), until the company's agent helped us get it back.
Might have just been a one off experience, but certainly makes me not want to use their service again.

Addendum: this is a repost of an original review I had posted using a shared family email, after I heard of my family member's horrible experience. Every single word is TRUTHFUL because I was directly with my family member on that day, trying to help out with the move. You can probably guess why I'm using my own email to repost it now and deleting the original one. This is not the right way to do business and as a word of advice, the company should look into improvements and better movers to work with.

I moved from Toronto to Edmonton. I choose centennial to move my belongings and a car. Excellent service. Always updating you. The car took 4 weeks to arrive and arrived in very good conditions. Also the belonging in good conditions. Nothing got missing or damaged.

SCAM SCAM SCAM AND SCAM. Please stay away from this company. U’d rather pay more but for better service. They kept calling me to tell me declare my inventory and told me to make my deposit to secure my spot, ect. When time comes, they came with a truck that already almost full (never been told I have to share a truck with anyone) and told me they can only take a few things from me. This company is clearly just playing game with you and doesn’t care about your own plan. We had to move to another province and now they said they had to re-arrange the schedule. I’m warning you right now, if you wanted your plan you as planed, Please do not go with this company. Money wasted.

My move was the longest move I had done to date and was very impressed with outcome. I was moving by myself and was so stressed but Robert (my moving coordinator) was really helpful with getting back to me with quotes and answering questions. I was able to get the dispatch to call me to meet at the weigh station at pick up before loading and was able to go and with them to see the actual weigh of my stuff. I had a good experience and had done a lot of work packing and good estimation of how much I had and how much it weighed (many underestimate the amount of things so makes it harder on moving day if not prepared).
Moving with Centennial was so smooth, and the movers were respectful and careful with the items both on the Brampton end and on the Thunder Bay end. Nothing broke and everything arrived that was in the inventory. Highly recommended!

Once again centennial helped me move across provinces. This is my 3rd interaction with centennial. 2 for my moves and 1 was recommended to a friend of mine. All three Times centennial provided great customer service and all 3 times my stuff arrived in great condition. My last move I was unable to book centennial as they were busy. I ended up using Atlantic van lines. Worst decision on my part. They broke my $3k tv which I paid extra for them to pack. All my boxes and a tv stand were broken. Centennial is hands down the best for me. I find centennial also gives very competitive rates for the.move

I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. It took us over a month to receive our goods (when we were specifically informed it would take 2 weeks by the rep), and during the time, we were ghosted by their sales team and not given any indication of when when we could expect the truck. Our specific "sales rep" was on "sick leave" for nearly 3 weeks and no one bothered to check his emails or voicemail to get back to us. The moving team themselves were effective and considerate, however the sales team behind the desk over promised and heavily under delivered. The moving team deserves 5 stars, but the companys overall review and practices are 1 star. We have a 1 year old who was left without any of her belongings for too long.

Absolutely horrible.

Had great experience with the Centennial Moving, Easy to book and get updates from them over phone on the status. Dave from their phone support was very helpful though out the process and was very polite to answer all our concerns.
Moved our belongings from Toronto to Calgary though it took entire month for the delivery but they mentioned it could be 3 to 4 weeks. Hopefully the process can be quicker in future as it is very stressful to live 4 weeks without any furniture to a new place:). Their Calgary delivery staff was quick and Amazing, very nice crew would recommend to use them for your moving.

Everything went incredibly smoothly, from setting up moving dates (and keeping those dates through the province lockdowns for COVID) to the actual move itself! Nothing was broken, all of the movers were amazing at what they did, and Eric was with me every step of the way to answer questions and ensure everything was going smoothly! Easiest move I’ve ever had because of your team!

I was quite weary when choosing a business to facilitate my cross country move, as I've heard all the horror stories about what can go wrong.

From the very beginning Centennial was professional, responsive, and made me feel like my move was important to them.

Transparent and willing to answer all of my questions, I found their rates to be fair and competitive.

What shifted this experience from 4 star to 5 star was their great moving teams.

Upon pick up they showed up 5 minutes early, were very respectful of my belongings and worked incredibly efficiently. Taking care to account for, and appropriately secure all of my items.
Very friendly as well.

Drop off was scheduled within the 14 day estimated window (despite transport disruptions across Canada). They gave 72 hours notice of the delivery window. Again, they arrived 5 minutes early and quickly adapted to an overly complicated delivery pathway because of construction in our building. All the while remaining very friendly, efficient, and respectful of our property.

If I were to move long distance again I would 100% use Centennial's services, and highly recommend you do as well.

Thank you for making this an easy and stress-free experience.

This is my second time using Centennial Moving and both times were from Ontario to B. C. They were within the range of time they stated and were fast in loading and off-loading. Everything is labelled and well looked after. Most of all, they communicated with me every step of the way; no delays in responding.

I would recommend that you make sure that if there are any days or times that you cannot receive your items, that you let them know upfront when the plans are being made; this will ensure there are no surprises. I also recommended Centennial Moving to a friend who was also happy with the move. Her move was from Ontario to NB. They actually provide you with some referral money when you recommend someone, which is a nice touch. You can feel safe and secure with these movers.

It was first time for me to move to another city in Canada, they performed very professional from packing and wrapping all items to unwrapping and installing everything at the destination, (same as moving my car)
everyone who was working in this process was very professional, I'm very happy with their work and recommend them to anyone who need to be taken care of during the stressful moving, their pricing is fair as well.

My review is the similar to Jamie Balogun's review below.
I'm giving this company 2nd star only because perfect loading / unloading and no damage at the end. The story is:

I requested this service to move my stuff from Toronto to Calgary 40 days before pick up day that gave this company plenty of time to prepare. Btw, they designated the pick up day which was September, 27 (Sunday) in the first time. Then, 4 days before pick up they called me and asked to shift it to September, 26 (Saturday). Like that, 4 days before! And told me if I can't go with the new date then they have to return me my deposit and say farewell. Could you believe? It felt like a direct spit in my face. I asked for discount apology and they gave me like $50 which is nothing compare to my day off that I had to take to do packing on Friday.

And then the fanny part started. On their website says delivery time is 14 days (max). They told me that truck is going to depart the next week when we booked the pick up time. But after pick up when I asked what's the approximate estimate they told me the end of October! What? 1 month? I packed all my winter closes and boots because I counted on 14 days and here we have 5 weeks instead of 2-3.

And it's not the end of the story. Here I was in Calgary, end of October, -12 degree, asking for my stuff and guess what? They told me that the truck is in transit and they can't say when to expect it. It's like they aren't connected to their drivers. The next week, approximately November, 5 they told me that they HOPE the delivery will occur at the end of the NEXT WEEK. I lost my nerves and hope by that time. Long story short I received my stuff on November, 14.

When I asked drivers what was the problem that delivery took 1.5 months, it appears that there were regular transits but my stuff wasn't good enough to fit in, to little volume. So they continued to bump me to next week before the right truck with the right space appeared.

My advice: DO NOT HAVE A DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. There is no customer respect (especially if you have a small volume) and they are not reliable at all. Every day a new estimate either for pick up or delivery.

To management: I don't need your apology, it worth nothing. You gave it to Jamie Balogun 3m ago and here we have the same situation which means you don't care about your customers.

Extremely responsive and clear service. Reasonable price, broke little to nothing on a 4k kilometer move. Shipment was delayed a week due to covid, but that was clearly communicated before and during the delay. Strongly recommended.
27 January 2021 14:47
Centennial was great to work with. Very responsive support staff, movers were friendly and efficient. We moved from the prairies out East and received our stuff sooner than we expected, and everything was intact and in order. No surprises on any of the bills and they were great at communication. Would definitely use them again.

This afternoon Centennial Moving Company delivered items to my home. Upon arrival, they were asked to wear a mask, as it is currently the law in New Brunswick to do so. We had a box of masks available to them. They refused to wear a mask, and proceeded to enter my home, after driving items from Alberta, to New Brunswick. I contacted the manager of Centennial Moving Company - Moncton Location, about how upset I was with the fact that their movers did not listen to our request, and put us and our family at risk by entering my home without a mask on, while in Orange-Phase.

This manager told me it is TOO DIFFICULT (I’m still laughing about this) to walk up and down stairs while wearing a mask. He agreed with his movers, and stated that they shouldn’t wear one. After stating multiple times that it is, in fact, the LAW to wear a mask in any public place, or entering someone else’s home, he told me he doesn’t care, and that I am wrong. After repeating multiple times that this is not ok, he told me he doesn’t care, and that he doesn’t want me to contact him, or the office ever again about today’s issue. I am absolutely disgusted with the way he chose to deal with customer service complaints.

Not sure how this man, or his employees think they can pick and choose which laws they follow. However, he was very adamant that the law to wear masks in public and other people’s homes does not pertain to his delivery drivers.

I moved 4 times between Toronto, Saskatoon and Vancouver with this company and have always been satisfied with their moving services. I never used them for car moving though!
17 January 2021 13:42
This was a fantastic moving experience from start to finish. From the very first person who took my call, he was incredibly helpful and straightforward. All the pricing was upfront. There were no ridiculous add-ons, they didn’t make me do extra steps. The process was simple, quick and easy and I was able to get the whole move booked ASAP which was important to me b/c I was moving in just two weeks. The move itself was excellent as well. The crews were on time, super helpful, packed/unpacked all my items carefully and in a very organized and efficient and highly trained / skilled manner. Everything arrived in the same status as it was before the move! I especially loved the closet boxes which kept my hanging clothes hanging the whole time so nothing got wrinkled, etc. Saved me a ton of time and headache. The moving crew of two men were very professional and skilled and I cannot say enough about them. Huge assets to the company. Would recommend it to anyone!

I did a lot of research before deciding to go with Centennial for my move from Ottawa to Calgary. I chose them based on the reviews here.
After a couple emails that were promptly replied, we set up a time frame: movers would come between Oct 19th and 24th. Based on those dates, I schedules EVERYTHING else: hotel, car shipping, airbnb in Calgary, flights, car rental, vacation at work, our dog's flight, dog hotel, etc.
After confirmation, they sent me a spreadsheet for a more accurate estimate and requested photo of big items (like treadmill, etc). I don't know why, but I ended up taking pics of everything in my house and sent to them so they had a better idea.
3 or 4 days later, Michael sent me the message below:
"Our dispatch took a look at the pictures and it looks like we will not be able to load your items between the 19th to the 24th,
We are forced to reschedule your move to 19th and 24th of November"
I could not believe what I was reading. That was 2 weeks before my move and I already had half of my house packed. I called and basically bagged them to come, but the final answer was no. They kept saying that my stuff would not fit the truck, but I strongly believe that it was actually the opposite. I don't have a lot of things and they simply denied to provide the service because it was probably not a good deal for them, I guess.
I sent an email highlighting everything that I had booked based on their dates and most of it was non-refundable.
I ended up finding another company that did a great job with an excellent customer service: Midwest Moving & Storage Services. They provided a specific date for picking up our stuff instead of a time frame, they were professional and everything was delivered without one single damage.
Anyway, I was super disappointed with Centennial and I hope that I was an exception. It's important to say that Michael always treated me with courtesy and was quick to answer.
If you decide to go with them, keep in mind they can cancel without much information and you'll be left with a big problem that they simply don't care to fix.

Hired them for a move for my Grandmother from Ontario to Vancouver Island Sept. - Oct. 2020. Although it took longer than expected, during these times I realize even new furniture and other goods and services are taking longer than usual. My Grandmother was at pick up and delivery and said the men were kind, courteous and efficient. The cost was better than competitors and everything arrived undamaged. I would definitely recommend for a long distance move
07 January 2021 18:47
We had an excellent survey from Alex, and then the email comms following was prompt and to the point. The Loaders, Mike and Vlad, were fantastic, prompt, and nothing was too much bother for them. They were friendly, polite, and professional in their work and a pleasure to have around in the house. Our belongings haven't arrived yet, so can't give a complete review, but the painful part of clearing the house and getting our belongings away was about the most painless we've ever done!
07 January 2021 13:53
My move was better than I could have expected. The driver and loading crews were incredibly professional and put great detail and care into packing my home. As soon as they arrived at my house they instantly asked me about and concerns and explained the process of packing and inventory. My carpet was protected by floor runners and boxes were placed and taped to the title for protection and cleanliness. At delivery of my items at my new house the reversal process occurred. The driver and packers also assisted me in assembling some of my household goods (sectional couch, bed, TV stand) along with any items they disassembled to load on the truck. I am still amazed by the high level of respect and care my belongings and I felt during this experience. Very highly recommended!

Professional service and quick replies. Answered all of our questions and were available when needed. We moved items from Toronto to Vancouver. It took a little longer than they originally quoted, which they let me know in advance but all in all very satisfied. No items lost/damaged.

Centennial moving was one of the first companies I reached out to when it came to my move from Calgary AB to Vancouver BC. Michael was very helpful and followed up a lot with me when I was unsure of what day I would be moving. I booked my move, they told me it would happen within two weeks of the pick-up date and all was dandy. They picked up October 19th and told me I would get my delivery in 1-2 weeks in Vancouver. All of my possessions sat in Calgary for over a week without any information for me. I called and asked and they couldn't give me any information on dates, only that their driver had gotten sick with COVID so that's why the shipment was being delayed. After I called them almost everyday for a week and got no information they finally told me that my items would arrive at the November 6th, which was almost 3 weeks after the initial pick-up date. At this point I asked for a discount because of the long wait and they were unable to give me any sort of discount or subsidized price. The next day after hearing the November 6th information I received an email saying that the delivery would be happening on November 3rd (hallelujah). The morning of, the delivery people were right on time, and brought all of my stuff into the apartment, it was all nicely wrapped and only a few things were damaged (lots of my bin lids but nothing vitally important). The only concerning thing was that none of the movers were wearing masks (it wasn't mandatory in BC at this point) so it unnerved me, but I wore my mask to keep myself protected (I also understand that moving things is hard work and a mask can make it difficult to breath). Overall, my experience with this moving company had a lot of ups and downs. If you are wanting accurate, on-time information, I would not recommend Centennial Moving. But I would recommend for the price, the customer service was great initially but deteriorated the longer my shipment was taking.

During covid-19 our house sold at a weeks notice. The relocation company we asked first were on furlough. Luckily our second choice were available, and we became more and more pleased. Eric was really helpful and pleasant from the start. The teams were helpful and friendly. We needed some bits added to the load a few days later and again no problem. Fantastic

I used this moving service from Edmonton to Montreal in summer 2020. My stuff weighed about 4000lb, they claimed it weighed more than 6500 lb. We requested and arranged for rescaling, turned out we are right and they were wrong. They didn't even apologize, their agent was rude and miscalculated the fees. I'm glad my husband didn't trust them and preferred we do the rescaling and calculation ourselves. My advice: don't trust them, have your stuff weighed yourself and don't be shy to verify and rescale of needed. They seem to have no internal quality control process.

In addition, many of my bags were soaked in dirty water and the clothes enclosed in these bags (most of them were brand new with tags) were rotten and I had to throw in the garbage.

COMMENTING ON THEIR REPLY:
More details that I didn't include in the original review, but documented in the email thread with them: they claimed that they weighed our stuff in an Alberta government-affiliated scale which is at least 20 minutes away from my place. When I asked for a proof of scaling, they claimed this place doesn't provide paper tickets because of the covid (which didn't make any sense!). We called the place and confirmed they are wrong as the scaling place does provide tickets regardless covid. In addition, they printed some useless paper with the wrong weight to convince us their claimed extra weight is correct, documenting the time of scaling as 13.15, while the movers moved away from my place at 13.00 (documented by a phone call made with the driver before he drove away from my place). Again, that didn't make sense because the scale is at least 20 minutes away. The sequence of events was just extremely not logical and they never apologized.

On the day of rescaling, their agent who was on the phone (had a polish name and different from John who was responding to the emails), was indeed extremely rude, and miscalculated the fees for the second time, adding a few hundreds to the correct fees.

All in all, I'm glad we didn't trust their word and weren't discouraged by the fact that they wanted us to pay hundreds of dollars if rescaling wasn't within 10% of the correct weight (which they have no right to force the clients to do). Again, this company has absolutely no internal quality control process. If you have to use them, be extra cautious and don't trust them.

Toronto to Surrey move would have cost $1510 for 1 bedroom apartment, but the office manager Warren gave me $100 off and an apology for Xavier the sales rep misleading me and blaming the additional weeks of delay on me. I also received an additional $72 off for paying cash and agreeing to no receipt.

When my property finally arrived after 5 weeks from date of pickup, a large mirror was broken, a box is missing, items that were sealed for security purposes had been opened and they put a desk drawer into a dresser drawer and I had to break down the desk drawer while it was stuck inside the dresser drawer to get it out.

I do not recommend Centennial unless you do not care about your belongings or the time at which they arrive.
