One of the best places to see the Fall colors in Moncton. Had a nice time there walking in the trails enjoying the scenery. Planning to do this in each season! Loved it
Great park for everyone to enjoy. There's lots of walking paths and a lovely playground for the youth. In the winter, there is a skating path, and in the summer, the pool and splash park will help you cool down. There are tennis courts and lawn bowling greens. There's places to BBQ and have picnics. Lots of parking is available too.
Attended the Atlantic Nationals car show, fantastic experience. My first show as a competitor, I did not win any prizes but we had a wonderful weekend. Looking forward to this annual event from here on in. 1700 cars in the show, one of the largest shows.
A good place to bring the kids, to work out, to enjoy a nice stroll in the woods. Whether you go by yourself or woth a friend it's a nice place to spend the afternoon!
Very nice playground for kids of various ages. Lots of space to run and play, various slides and climbing features, swings to accommodate any age and ability. Great park, so nice to have the large splash pad in the summer months!
Nice pools.spacious, convenient location.perfect for a family picnic day out! Take your blankets.tents umbrellas.try to find a spot to your right for better shade from the sun and to be closer to the kids pool or gigantic sandbox
A great family gathering place, lot's of fun for the lil one's at the park, walking trail's, washroom's, and a host of other amenities to suit your need's.
Oh my oh my oh my! So much fun, The kids didn't want to go home️. I had to practically, I mean literally drag my kids to the car to go home and they were fully soaked from head to toe. And to say we had so much summer fun for free is the most exciting part for me I recommend this park this summer for every time you just want to relax in the sun and watch the kids play themselves away! . And for free
Park seems to be constantly expanding and improving. There are a number of activities to partake in for kids or adults. Walking trails, splash parks, great out door playgrounds, a large well taken care of swimming pool and more!
My son used to love the water park section. It's free so I take him as often as I could. I remember when it was the mushroom, with ankle deep pool. I used to think that was awesome, so the new one is amazing compared to what I grew up with. I won't lie how disappointed I am 2 summers in a row no Centennial beach? Come on guys, kids really like that. Not a lot of outdoor swimming attraction. Some people can't afford Magic Mountain ever week. 2020, I'm so hoping it's open.
Cross-country ski trails are groomed and can be used for traditional or skate skiing. Fat bike trails, and room for walkers as well. Two skating rinks with good to great ice. One for hockey and a very large one for all aothers. Ample parking and easy access.
Lots to do for the whole family. Extensive playground, many walking trails (groomed for skiing and snowshoeing in winter), ducks to feed, picnic areas, a few sports fields. Needs a bit more signage/enforcement for people going the wrong way on the one way ski trails and walking on the ski trails.
It's huge beautiful nature and a brand-new play area and pool for a 2020 open this summer has to dog park and lots of barbecues for picnicking with family and friends
This park is large and has something to offer everyone from several new large playground structures, a natural park, large splash pad, newly created Centennial Beach pool, tree go adventures, many walking and mountain biking trails, basketball courts, tennis courts and a lake front to view ducks and geese
I love all the back trails, specifically the Lynx, Carcajou, and Porc-epic trails. For years I never knew that they existed and only thought that the trial that wraps around the pond was the only walking trail they had (it's still pretty nonetheless). I really enjoy walking here, very beautiful scenery, also very calming. The trails are very well maintained.
This parc offers something for everyone. Walking or biking trails allow you to feel like you're out of the city without leaving. Lots of available activities for all ages.
Centennial park is very functional. In this summer I brought bunch of friends here, all the kids of friends love here, they all enjoy the splash area. In fall when this is good weather worth to drive here for a whole day. My two dogs love here too.
One of the nicest place to be close to nature in the middle of the city. Fall foliage is beautiful, the trails are nice and the playground is huge for kids of all ages. Splash pad and pool in the summer. Plenty of stuff to do with the kids
I've been to this park many times I did never cease to disappoint I have requested four times to four different employees at the park for some general maintenance at the dark parks and with completely ignored although was requested was some general maintenance in both Park by cutting down someday overgrown Shrubbery and plants livering the park
Great park that is in the heart of the city. Tons of walking, running, biking trails. If you are new to visiting this park, know that you cannot get lost in here. It's surrounded by city streets.
There's a splash pad, a large playground, There's a paved trail that circles a man made lake. It's unfortunate that you can no longer access the lake due to the city never replacing the bridge that used to give access to it.
There are plenty of washrooms on site and there's a canteen open in the spring/summer and I believe weekends in the fall. They have charcoal BBQ pits where you can drive your car to and BBQ and picnic. (need all your own supplies including charcoal briquettes).
In the wintertime half the park is dedicated to cross country skiing. They rent skis and snowshoes. The other half of the park is plowed and maintained in the winter. There's also a couple of skating areas (one for hockey and one for general skating). Decades ago, you used to be able to skate around the island which I wish the city would consider doing again. It was so much fun skating around the island.
While the park is safe, there are sometimes some undesirable people who sometimes hang around. During the day this shouldn't be an issue as there are lots of people and city employees going about their jobs maintaining the park. After dark you should exercise the same caution you would walking down a quiet city street by yourself.
I've been going to this park for over 40 years and it's a true gem to the City of Moncton.
The trails are lovely and quiet and the playground for the kids is awesome, with lots to do for kids of all ages, including a splash pad for the summer!
Great park with obstacles for all ages. Fantastic splash park and clean facilities. Ideal place to take the family to burn off some energy. Wonderful areas for picnics and large group events.
