Chez Camille Take Out

Probablement bon pour les fruits de mer mais.

Après 2 semaines à manger des fruits de mer en Nouvelle-Écosse, sur notre chemin du retour, nous nous sommes arrêté chez Camille pour le lunch du midi. J'ai pris une petite poutine et un cheesburger "all dres". Le cheesburger était correct mais avec peu de condiments (pas de laitue, tomate etc, heureusement, il y avait du fromage.). Pour ce qui est de la poutine, peut être que je suis trop habitué à nos poutines du Québec mais voilà, les frites ne sont pas des frites maison mais se sont des frites du commerce alors que la sauce est sans goût, elle goûte un peu l'eau comme si elle avait été dilué. Le fromage est rappé sur les frites (ce n'est pas du fromage en grain). Un autre fait, lorsque vous payez, la machine intérac vous propose automatiquement entre 15% et 20% de pourboires. Ici il n'y a aucun service aux tables. Vous passez votre commande, on vous appelle, vous allez chercher votre commande, vous vous servez votre boisson et lorsque vous avez terminé, c'est vous qui débarrasser votre table. À mon avis c'est le client qui devrait recevoir un pourboire.

The place smells so "new", however the floors were filth and needed a wet mop dragged through.
Clams were delicious as always.

Wife had scallop burger and onion rings whic she enjoyed. I had the hot chicken, it was tasteless and had pieces of cartilage mixed in the chicken, dont recommends that. Maybe there sea food is what there known for.

Excellentes portions mais ne donnent pas la sauce Tartare automatiquement avec les commandes pour emporter. Il faut s
e servir nous-mêmes mais lorsqu'on ne le sait pas la première fois c'est décevant quand on arrive à la maison dans la sauce tartare. Dr plus c'est la Kraft en petit contenant et goûte trop vinaigré. Une sauce maison serait mieux.

Les fruits de mer sont dispendieux mais excellents. Le lobster roll et le fish and chips étaient épiques. Les frites sont un peu décevantes car ce sont des frites ondulées congelées. Elles sont toutefois croustillantes et agréables. Service incroyable, on se sentait en famille. Fortement recommandé.

It is takeout only restaurant. Fried sea food. There is sitting area after you buy food.
Pricing is on higher side.

We went there today. The food was terrible. Very greasy, the clams were overcooked.
Don’t waste your money.

I had the fish and chips snack, it was tasty and a decent portion but layout of restaurant for ordering was confusing, workers had to shout for customers to pick up their orders. Felt it was overpriced for what it was.

The new place is super nice. Great amount of food for the money. Clams were great! The woman who served us (I believe she may have been the owner) was fantastic. Very kind and up beat considering how busy she was. One of the easiest 5 stars I’ve ever given! WILL COME BACK!:)

The food was hot. Fried clams, shrimp, & scallops were very good. I would change the fries.they were just not crispy enough. More to the "okay" side. Only gave the 3 stars because I think I expected something "over the top" based on all the hype when people mention Chez Camille. Would I make a special trip there for the food, probably not. Would I return if I were in the area? Yes.

Hi it was a beautiful day so me and my wife carol went to your place as we have been there many times before the fire my wife had the lobster roll and she said it was great but i had fries and clams but sorry they were burnt ps your menu sign was not to great as didnt have time to read the menu there was more but i will explain sometime later

The food was delicious and the staff are very friendly.
I highly recommend the fried clams and the lobster roll!

The quality is not what it was before.
I could not even eat my clam dinner. We won't be going again.
I will stay with chez Leo or La dunne.
