Confederation Bridge

Wow, it was an amazing driving over this long bridge from Nova Scotia to Prince Edward Island. I'm going to be taking a ferry back in the evening

Shuttle service is affordable and convenient when the situation calls for it, but the shuttle driver was kind of miserable…

It was a long hard drive across. Really enjoyed it. The giant barriers on each side took away from the views though.

A neat little park overlooking the bridge. The ladies' restroom was nasty. Similar to a gas station restroom! Someone, please clean it!

What cheek to charge you 50 CAD to pass the bridge! That really was a bitter end to a nice stay on PEI. Never have I ever paid so high fees anywhere.

A modern engineering marvel. The bridge is tall and long. It gets quite windy on the bridge so drive carefully. I would recommend taking the time to drive over and see PEI

I really don't like being that high up in the middle of the ocean, but the grandkids sure loved it lol

Beautiful, but PLEASE consider bridge repairs at night, not in the middle of the day when a million people are trying to leave PEI.

Fast and convenient, compared to the ferry. But not as much fun, and no breakfast. Like the ferry you only pay to get off the island. I paid with a tap to pay visa card. My only complaint is that the road surface is showing the need for refurbishment after 30 years. But there are no actual pot holes.

Wow! I'm not fond of bridges but this one wasn't terrible! We had to stop as they are working on it but it was only for a few minutes at most! Incredible experience without a doubt!

Confederation bridge it is really a marvelous structure by humans. 12km long with 190m with single structure.but you can only enjoy the view in semi trucks, buses and high vehicles.for the cars its just look like a normal bridge.and I am truck driver and cross this bridge 5 to 6 time in a week.

It was my first time driving through the bridge. The structural design while on the bridge is ordinary, but off the bridge, the view is awesome!
There's a toll on the way back from the island.

My father consulted on this bridge design when it was being proposed over 20 years ago and it is truly an engineering marvel. 25 km in length and high above the sea level, it is has great views of the ocean and you can look forward and back at the bridge itself which is fantastic. There is no cost to going onto PEI, but it costs $50 per car when you leave the island. The bridge is single lane, but there is little traffic and generally cars are not speeding as they seem to be enjoying the unique experience.

Great bridge to cross instead of the ferry took us 14 minutes to cross the bridge. It cost 52$ to go over the bridge. A must do if you can take the bridge into pei.

The $50.25 toll was outrageous. Took a drive over just to show my son the bridge Can’t get off the Island without paying that insane price. Wanted to go back as I wanted to go camping and visit a friend on the Island after dropping my son off at school. Not happening I won’t go back.

It was raining and hazy so not able to get great photos.it was about the experience. So a poor fellow had a flat tire on the bridge.felt bad for him! There is a small coffee bar and shop inside.not too much activity but you can stroll to a lighthouse. It was raining so my husband went and I stayed indoors!

Le pont de la confédération est d’une longueur de 13 km et il en coûte 50,25$ pour en ressortir. C’est la deuxième fois que je visite l’île du Prince Edouard. Pour avoir les plus belles photos de ce pont, rendez-vous au Marine Rail Park. J’ai eu la chance d’y admirer de magnifiques coucher de soleil à cet endroit. Étant donné que c’est cher d’y accéder, je suis d’accord que réduire le coût encouragera les visiteurs à venir plus régulièrement sur l’île.
