Cora Breakfast and Lunch

I am sorry but this is not how it looked on the menu and while the service was amazing, the food certainly wasn’t appetizing at all.
The waitress was kind enough to add more fruits in the bowl, but I didn’t ask for just strawberries.
It will be nice, if more effort can be put into making appealing sandwiches as advertised.

I came on my working day for a quick meal, I had 30 minutes left before closing, and they told me that they couldn’t serve me. I don’t quite understand how long Cora works, the work schedule is 3: 00 p.m. My mood deteriorated, I was left hungry and in no mood.

Really great breakfasts! The hostess was very friendly and made us feel right at home immediately. The coffee was nice and strong and our meals were spot on superb. If you need a dynamite bite, come check out Cora because it's one of the best spots around. We will be back for sure.

Came to St. John from Halifax for the weekend and I like the locations at Halifax. This time was different, I was waiting for my meal half an hour and I didn’t have a great experience here, I hope it’s better next time.

Do not order take out. They added and charged for onions to all of our home fries (3 meals when asked for 1) which were disgusting. I’ve had onions on my home fries here before and they definitely did not taste “normal”. I wouldn’t have minded paying for them if I could have actually eaten my meal.

They also didn’t sent fruit with my two Benedict meals.

We went back to complain on a weekday when there was a manager in and we’re told it was our fault as we should have checked our meal. Have some accountability in your services please.

Wasn't very pleased with the food. My hash Browns were burnt and the rest of my stuff was cold and it took them forever. Just to get a second cup of tea would not recommend.

Goodness this chain is awful. Doesn't matter what location. I ordered the "chirozo" skillet during their skillet fest. It was so gross basically a hotdog version of chirozo not the crumbled meat like every other breakfast place. Sliced ham instead of chunks. Dried tomatoes instead of. REAL tomatoes. The potatoes are obviously fried then refried before giving them to you but on a stove that is way too hot so it's a weird combo of too soft and burnt. Then because it was a skillet they over fried everything again causing everything to be dried out with burnt chunks all over. Just inedible. It's my 3rd try over thier 2 locations and I'd never go back. Consistently terrible food. Better places breakfast places are just down the street.

In town on business and had free time so headed to Cora's for breakfast. Wasn't overly busy and seated quickly, and server was there in adequate time to take my order. Only waited about 10 mins for my order. Was served fresh and hot. Was a delicious meal if you like hot dogs (which I do!). Would recommend this location for food and service.

Service was wonderful. Server had no problem with all my special requests. Made an awesome soy Cappuccino with lots of foam and a hint of maple.

Normally. I love cora's, but the last couple times we've gone, it's been very disappointing. Two of us ordered crepes, both came out hard and crunchy, and the toppings were wrong on both, sent them back, crepes came out better, but the toppings were still wrong. I ordered salmon eggs Benny, which are my favorite, but the salmon was near frozen and the fried potatoes haven't been the same in a long time. The service, and wait times have also fallen.

Please get your stuff sorted, I don't want to find another breakfast place

The washroom was so dirty when we were there, it was a mess they need to clean their washrooms

Served us burnt fries and bacon we were 8 of us all burnt even though it was changed but we had to complain before they took care of it. After waiting for so long to eat had to wait another for then to make more fries and bacon. The one on the Eastside. The one uptown is my favorite we decided to go to the East side for a change and we were all disappointed.

Food was alright, and service was similar tier quality. It was easy to tell staff was eager to close
