Crabbe Mountain

Great place to ski this weekend. Still lots of snow. The renovations to the lodge are coming along nicely.

The parking lot is a mess, and the road out of the parking lot terrible, but the ski is great

Mountain is good, brand new lodge, only one chair lift. Sometimes is packed and substantial lines form for the lift.

Definitely worth checking out this central New Brunswick ski destination, approx. 40 min drive outside Fredericton! Runs of varying skill levels are kept in good shape, friendly staff, fast-food options to eat in the chalet - a little pricey but makes sense due to the remote location. Chalet also has a lounge.

Always love going to Crabbe Mountain, but today was extra special as I watched some of my kids learn how to ski for the first time and snowboard too.

The ski instructors were fantastic and very patient with the kids. However, I found that the snowboard instructors didn't prepare them as well and so they ended up on their bums most of the time.

Otherwise, the new lodge and facility is much more spacious. As of right now, they are still finishing renovations, but are still operating as much as they can.

I went evening skiing (4-9 PM). My overall experience was good as the weather was great and there were no delays at the chairlift. The new cafeteria and the bar areas are great improvements. My one negative comment is about the new rental area, which is absolutely horrible. You have to go down 2 flights of stairs to get your rental equipment, and there are signs that you are not allowed to go back up with your equipment on the elevator. The in and out accesses are the same, so on a busy day, it must be an absolute nightmare to move in and out of there. Finally, closing the King's Horn for the racing team in the evening is wrong as there are only a very limited amount of illuminated runs and taking the best one out is very wrong and a complete disregard to paying customers.

The hill and tracks are great, the only disappointment was that I was charged full equipment rental when all I needed was a helmet. Kind of a rip of when they made helmets mandatory, at least have a charge just for helmets.
The other disappointment was that the bunny hill was the only green track open, the family track was closed. Was looking forward to taking my son on it, who just started skiing.

Absolutely stunning! Beautiful views and trails, fantastic staff and lots of variation for skiers of all levels, even an absolute rookie like myself couldn't help but enjoy every time Ive been!

What amazing experience,! Mountain air all fall colors, The hay ride was awesome! ALL My children loved the first time including myself! Thank you Crabbe Mountain for the invite to view your beautiful Mountain! We all loved it!

I went to this place with my family including my mom. I was amazed by safety measures. There are shuttles to take you down the hill, where you can take some food or drinks, the kids can play with a little maze or a bouncycastle. The lift chair is the main attraction and the sight is so beautiful with the colors of autumn. The lift chair has an emergency stop button if there is any kind of trouble, mostly for people that have trouble getting off of it. There is also another shuttle that takes down the hill to the entrance. Such a nice experience! Thank you.

Although its summer, my daughter keeps asking when we can go skiing again. Try explaining to a 4 year old that she will have to wait until snow falls before doing her favorite activity. Instructors were great with my kids! Can`t wait to go back. Best spot locally!

Fun little hill close to Freddy Beach. The hills are all super short, and there aren't a whole lot of challenging slopes, even for a beginner, like myself, but overall the snow is usually pretty nice. It's not an amazing hill by any means, but great enough for Fredericton, and it's only a short drive away. The drive from the capital city is really nice and not too long.

Had a great time learning to snowboard with my son. Good instructor, very patient and helpful. Will be back.

1st time last night. It was lots of fun. The people were friendly. Even other riders we're nice. Met alot of people from other college campuses. Can't wait until next time!

Lucky to have this place so near. Pub is great, food is not bad and the mountain itself is lots of fun.

Me and a bunch of friends went there for the weekend, was great! Student prices weren't bad at all ($50)

Hill was in fantastic shape, still lots of untracked snow in the trees and a good base layer on the groomers. Need to work on the kitchen and bar a bit- realize it was the lunch rush but there was a lot of skipping over at the counter and there's a lot of poaching of tables at the bar by people not getting anything from the bar itself. Hard to pop in for a quick beer.

Who wants to get off the chair lift on a snowboard and then have to push yourself a mile just to get to the terrain parks.

It was an awesome experience, they have a variety of trails for all the categories and experience

I love skiing at Crabbe Mountain! The prices are great for a day of skiing. Near the end of the season the parks (jumps and rails) are really nice and we'll maintained. One thing that they could improve on is the speed at the rental shop, find a way to make the process more clear and faster.

You know it's a decent hill, the name is misleading, I didint see a single crab, let alone a mountain

One of the best family activities we participate in. Great job by the new team who looks after the mountain now. Progressive approaches!

High energy, high flying, high adventure winter sports are all I can see from the lodge while I drink over priced craft beer waiting for my kid to finish their lessons and I can finally go home.

Love this mountain.seems to always have snow when the other hills dont.staff are super friendly. It's more like a family than a business interaction.

Great hill, here for a few days from Nova Scotia. Staff are friendly and helpful, a real pleasure to deal with.

Great local mountain. Love the night skiing and the Thirsty Boot afterward. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced to begin with but keep an eye out for some awesome deals for the thriftier of us.
Many ways to get there, but don't trust your GPS unless it tells you to leave from Fredericton Northside along route 105, fork to the right onto the 104 and turn right onto Central Hainesville Road 22km later. That is, unless you like potholes.

Super crowded and over priced. They were all out of rentals and didn't mention anything about it when I called. I had to settle for a snowboard and couldn't help my son. The snowboard sat in the rack the entire day. It was the first time taking my son skiing and I couldn't go with him. I switched to skis at the end of the day and did one trip down the bunny hill. All that for $150. Worst skiing experience of my life.

This is a fun hill. I am a beginner, but the two green runs were long enough to have some fun and a bit of a challenge. However the trail map at the top of the lift is USELESS and impossible to read, it's very weathered. Resulted in us going down following sings for a blue run to end up stuck where the run was cut off with a 'closed' sign so we were stuck either taking our skis off and walking or skiing moguls! Make sure you know where you're going cause the signs are NOT your friend.

This facility was recently purchased by a local group of investors and in the last two years has seen fantastic improvements. These include trail signs, accommodations, interior upgrades to the lodge, extensive glade thinning for non groomed trails and much more.
Can't wait to see what improvements come with this new season.
