Daquiri Smokehouse

This was our 2nd visit, but 1st with new management this year. I love the location of this restaurant. Last year would have been our last visit but I heard good things recently, so we tried again.

Super clean! Loved the seats by the water. Atmosphere is lacking warmth.

No beer on tap. With all the local breweries within 40 mins I would certainly have a couple taps rotating. They were out of the domestic beer ordered.

Food was hot and quick but obviously frozen. We chose the Fish and chips -server recommended. Fish pulled out of the batter. It was wet.

Served in baskets as if we were in a take out joint. Dishes would be appreciated. I hate opening tiny plastic tubs of coleslaw!

Daquiri's has the potential but same old bar /restaurant menu seen in many chains

Nothing to stand out and make me want to return.

Many people came in while we were there. So the opportunity is there.

It's a beautiful place by the water, the Service and food is great and very friendly staff

Under the new owner the food at Daquiri's is absolutely amazing! Hands down the best Montreal Smoked Meat that we've ever eaten! The new menu is fabulous, SO MANY delicious things to choose from! So far love them all!

Okay so before I write this, I don't put any of this on our waitress, she was doing the best she could with a busy restaurant and very limited resources. When there wasn't a drink menu to be found, she came back with a hand-written list of the drinks. I definitely appreciate that effort. Plus, our meals were all comped so to me, that said she tried.

We were told what happened was the usual cook had recently left and they were training a new one. It was rough needless to say. Their menu wasn't the full page I see in other photos; it was a little card on the table where you usually see specials. We ordered two burgers with fries & a poutine.

The burgers came disassembled; the only thing on the bun was a burnt patty with mayo in a cup on the side and all toppings of lettuce, tomato & diced onions put on the plate (my husband asked for no tomatoes & got it anyway). Plus we had no cutlery so he had to put mayo on with a fry before another customer saw and offered her set. The burger was not only burnt but had no flavour, just a lump of plain ground beef. We'd ordered two gravies & only received one, waiting on that and my poutine. When they came, the gravy was ice cold with that burnt rim around the edge that told it was microwaved. Also I knew because my cheese curds were hard as a rock.

I only ate because I was starved after waiting an hour for all this but my companions couldn't do it. Thank God we were given our meals for free as the idea of paying for what we received seemed frustrating.

All in all, we won't be returning.

Nice spot, good service and great view. We had a seafood platter and it was just the right size and tasted great. Would give it a 4.5 if I could.

A lovely place on the water. The staff is super friendly. The fish and chips were the best I've tasted this side of the Atlantic. AND.the best Margarita I've had in a long time. Definitely stop in for a meal.

I got the pulled pork poutine for take out and it was awesome. Great pulled pork, home fries and cheese curds… can’t ask for better. Staff was very nice.

We had the Steak subs which includes french fries abd coleslaw. I had poutine. So tasty. Wonderful views. Seafood unavailable due to season We came in October

Went to Daquiries smoke house lastnight in Bouctouche. We were really well greated by the owner Chuck and his staff. He went out of his way to make sure we would a enjoy a nice steak and fixing. Very cozy and relaxing spot. Will definitely go back in the near future. Thanks again

Staff was very unorganized our food was wrong not what we ordered and then when we got it it was very cold was there 5: 30 to midnight listening to music they did not clear our table with empty bottles had a hard time getting our drinks if it wasn't for the music we would have left a long time before then I think it was the owner and the waitress was his girlfriend not sure but they're arguing in front of customers very unprofessional

Really enjoyed the opportunity to go. Menu is a little small other than that it is definitely a place I will visit again. Friendly staff even when it was busy. A little longer wait for the food but it was worth it.did not leave hungry.

We gave Daquri Smokehouse a chance of redemption as our first visit left a very poor first impression.

Second visit was much worse on every possible level.

New owner this year, therefore reviews from the past years should not be taking into account, food is good, service is excellent. You can tell the owner cares about the business and the people around him. He's a pro at BBQing and served us some awesome ribs. Appreciate the hospitality he gave us during our meal. Also has a great view of the water.

Hands down the best place to eat in town amazing food great service THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE plus live music on the weekend's if i could give 10 stars i would!

Steak was rubbery and flavourless poutine was awful the cheese was terribly fake the gravy was like water and the fries had flour still on them but the service was good.
